1. Заменяем файл speed2.exe в папке с игрой
2. Запускаем прям из архива! файл uniws.exe выбираем игру,указываем путь куда она установленая,вписываем нужное нам разрешение и нажимаем патч.!
3.Заходим в саму игру в настройках видео выбираем разрешение 640х480.
все работает

послу патча появляются бесконечные загрузки

sashka11 Проблема в файле speed2.exe. Не нужно заменять в папке с игрой файл speed2.exe на тот, что в архиве. Пункт №1 в инструкции исполнять не надо.

У меня получилось До этого был установлен репак, а эту хреньку я просто распаковал, да запустил, ничего никуда не копируя 😉 Спасибо огромное, теперь машинки хоть не неистественно широкие все)

Всё работает, если не заменять свой файл speed2 файлом из архива. Из архива нужно скопировать файлы uniws и patches. Далее ход действий такой: 1. Запускаем uniws. 2. В верхней строке Game выбираем игру Need for Speed Underground 2.

3. В строке Game Installation Folder находим папку с игрой Need for Speed Underground 2.

4. В строке New Resolution вместо разрешения 640×480 выставляем нужное Вам. Лично у меня 2К монитор, поэтому я выставил разрешение 2560×1440.

5. Жмём на кнопку Patch в правом нижнем углу.

Q: Can I use these patches if I don’t have a widescreen display or don’t wish to play in widescreen?
A: Yes. The Widescreen Fixes (and Generic Fixes) are designed to be used with any aspect ratio or resolution.

Q: Why doesn’t the HUD fit within my screen boundaries?
A: You’re probably using an aspect ratio less than 16:9, like 16:10 (example: 1280×800) or 5:4 (example: 1280×1024). Try using HUD Adapter or simply disable HUDWidescreenMode.

Q: What does the Scaling feature do exactly?
A: It modifies the aspect ratio. A lot of people don’t realize this, but all of Black Box’s Speed Engine games are stretched by default. The Scaling feature allows you to change this. The «Proportionally Correct» option has no stretching at all, and the «Xbox 360» option is an exact replica of that version. It’s all personal preference, in the same way that some people may prefer to play their SNES games in 8:7 instead of 4:3.

Q: Why isn’t ImproveGamepadSupport working for me?
A: This feature is designed to work with XInput (Xbox) controllers. DualShock / DualSense owners should use an XInput wrapper, like DS4Windows or Steam’s controller support, before attempting to use this feature.

Q: Can I use Multi-Fix with Generic Fix?

Содержимое архива распаковать в корневую папку с игрой, после чего просто запускаете игру. Разрешение менять не нужно, игра сама выставит автоматом ваше разрешение, от вас требуется только повысить настроики детализации. Проверено на мониторе с разрешением 2560х1080.

Круто чё, теперь сравнить бы ещё поле зрения оч. было бы прикольно поглядеть. Такие вещи нужно добавлять сразу до и после!

get_grow попробовал. Меню так попривычнее (несмотря на то что оно искажено, просто привык со старым способом к такому), а вот в гонке спидометр и прочее вылезли за край экрана.. в общем, не вариант) Или сделать как то так, чтобы в меню хадфикс был выключен, а в гонке включен.

Rage123456 Выкинь нах свой КРИВперского! Установи норм антивирус! 360 Total Sequrety на пример и он на этот файл не жалуется но вирусы находит отлично и автоматом удаляет тем более он бесплатный и обновления тоже бесплатны правда там есть Премиум платный но как бы и не нужен вообще он и так все функции антивируса нормально выполняет и без этого Премиума! 😉

When I attempted to install the widescreen fix, i pasted the scripts folder in as well as the dinput8.ual next to the SPEED2 file. I also installed some car mod, NFSU2ExtraOptions, and I’m using the universal widescreen patcher. If it makes any difference, I installed the game onto an external hard drive. When I installed it, the mod seems to not effect the game at all? I’m pretty sure i patched the game correctly, but I just followed some guide and I’m not really sure.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing a step?

dimwow теперь можно выставить мёртвую зону для левого стика, этого исправления я ждал не один год так как почти на всех геймпадах от XBOX360 левый стик как правило со временем разбалтывается и начинает уводить машину в лево, в андерграунде как я понял разработчики просто не сделали в игре никакой мёртвой зоны, потому что в других гонках джой ведёт себя нормально! По умолчанию мертвая зона стоит 10 но мне пришлось увеличить её до 35 и только тогда перестало уводить в лево! вот перевод скриптов: ResX = 3840 ResY = 2160 FixHUD = 1 FixFOV = 0 Xbox360Scaling = 0 // Устанавливает масштабирование 3D-изображений по версии xbox 360. Использовать с FixFOV = 1. HudWidescreenMode = 1 // Включает широкоэкранную поддержку HUD. Использовать с HudFix = 1. FMVWidescreenMode = 0 // Cutscenes и фильмы будут полноэкранными. CustomUserFilesDirectoryInGameDir = 1 // файлы пользователя будут храниться в указанной директории, установите значение 0 для отключения. ImproveGamepadSupport = 1 // Эти параметры заменяют значки клавиатуры на значки геймпада и назначают несколько действий кнопкам которые ранее не были назначены. Установите значение 1 для значков xbox, 2 для значков playstation. LeftStickDeadzone = 35.0 и ещё я отключил масштабирование 3D-изображений по версии xbox 360 так как это немного сплющивает машину по бокам, на примере вот этой гифки:

all I know from the 2 mods I have for NSFU2 with the latest update the game starts to crash on start up but if I remove it it works just fine. maybe something bugged out or there’s something I’m not seeing for a reason for the game to crash

Nothing’s changed much since the last stable version. I can’t run the game with that exe because it asks for disc, but it should be compatible. Perhaps provide a crash dump.

I was only 12 years old so the hype was real. All those years on. Never did I think I would be downloading the game again. Although now I can play Need For Speed Underground 2 Widescreen.

It’s actually quite straightforward. To play Need For Speed Underground 2 Widescreen. You need to download the Need For Speed Underground 2 patching software. The patching software enables you to change the in-game resolution. However, you can only patch the game if you have a cracked version of Underground 2. Cracked means the game has been altered by somebody so it can be played on any computer. Essentially, you don’t need a product key to play the game.

I’ve updated this post since making it a while back. I’ve since found a free copy of the game complete with 1080p compatibility. It also has both graphics mods by Dragozool and High Visions.

But how do I get a cracked version you say? Don’t worry I have compiled everything you need to make the process as streamlined as possible. Follow the step by step guide below. To patch NFSU2 to widescreen.

How to Patch Need for Speed Underground 2 to Widescreen

Step 1: Download the Need For Speed Underground 2 Widescreen ZIP File Below

The first thing you should do is download the files below. Do this by clicking on the download link below. The file you download will contain a cracked version of NFSU2. It will also include the software you need to patch the game.

I have also included other cracked versions as a backup. This is in case the first one doesn’t work. Finally, you will find an EU car file and a US car file. I will explain more about that later. After you download the file move on to Step 2.

Step 2: Extract the folder to your Desktop

When you have downloaded the ZIP folder. Create a new folder on your Desktop and name it “NFSU2 Widescreen”. It doesn’t really matter what you name it honestly. Just name it something you will remember so it is easy to find.

Next, go to the ZIP folder and open it. Extract the files inside the ZIP folder to your new folder “NFSU2 Widescreen”. After you have extracted the files to your new folder. Step 3 will tell you what to do with them.

If you can’t open ZIP files I recommend downloading WinRAR. They’re the compression tool I use all the time. I love it because it’s free to use.

Step 3: V1.2 Patch and Backup your files

Take a look in your new folder. You should see 5 folders and 2 other ZIP folders. The folders are:

Firstly, open the V1.2 patcher folder. Here you will find the patcher for the US version of the game and the UK/EU version of the game. If you’re not from the EU. Use the US version and run the patcher. This will update your game files to the latest version of NFSU2. If you’re from the EU use the UK patcher to update your game files.

Secondly, Go into the “cracked speed2.exe” folder. Here you will find a speed2.exe file. This is a cracked version of NFSU2. You need to copy this file into your Need For Speed Underground 2 root folder.

However, before you do this. Please go to your Need For Speed U2 root folder. Find your original speed2.exe file and copy and paste it somewhere else. This is a backup file in case the patcher doesn’t work. Whatever you do. Do not replace this file with the cracked file. You could end up breaking your game.

Step 4: Boot up UNIWS tool and Find speed2.exe

After you have replaced the original speed2.exe with the cracked version. Go back to the NFSU2 Widescreen folder and open the folder called widepatcher. Here you will find the uniws tool and patches file.

Right-click and run as administrator. The widescreen patcher will boot up. At the top menu, you will be given the option to choose which game you want to patch. Click on Need For Speed Underground 2.

When you do that. Click the “Find it for me” button. The tool will find the speed2.exe file in your NFSU2 root folder.

Step 5: Set your Resolution and Patch the Game

Finally, type in the resolution you want to play the game on. In this case, it will be Screen Width: 1920, Height: 1080. When you have done this click the Patch button at the bottom right of the tool.

You should be able to play the game on widescreen monitors now. Remember to set the screen resolution in-game to 640×480 to use this feature.

Troubleshooting Need for Speed Underground 2 Widescreen

I cannot set the resolution to 1080

If you cannot set the resolution from inside the UNIWS tool. It means the speed2.exe file is not cracked. You need to go to the other speed2 files in the folder you downloaded from here. Extract them and repeat the process from step 3. However, you do not need to patch the game to v1.2 again.

My game keeps crashing when I exit shops and garages in free roam

This is annoying, isn’t it? Happened to me too. Fortunately, I have a solution. This is where the US and EU car files come into use. If you have the US version of the game. Go into the car directory in your Need for Speed Underground 2 root folder and copy and paste the EU car files in. Follow these steps:

That should stop the game from freezing when entering and exiting buildings in free roam. Repeat the same steps if you have the EU version of the game. Except, copy and paste the US cars into the cars folder.

The game is stuck on a black loading screen when I try to play it

For this bug, I searched around and found various solutions. So I will share them all with you here. The first solution is to always boot the game as an administrator. The second is to boot the game in compatibility mode especially if you are using Windows 10.

To set the game to always run as administrator and in compatibility mode. Follow the steps below:

Boot up your game and try it out. The crashes should be gone.

Other pesky bugs

If you insert the UK cars into the US game. And vice versa with the US cars. You may run into some freezing issues. If you are playing the US version of the game and select an EU car.

Sometimes the game may freeze during load screens. This same thing occurs if you select a US car when playing the EU game. I have yet to find a solution to this. The only way to get around it is to not use the foreign cars. Let me know if you have found another way around this.

Need For Speed Ubderground 2 — моя любимая гоночная игра. Точнее, единственная гонка, которая мне нравится после NFS Most Wanted. Однако, в новых версиях Винды (Windows 7 и Windows 8.1) на новых компьютерах игра постоянно вылетает, причем строго на определенных моментах — например, при окончании гонки, при заезде в гараж или при выезде из него.

На просторах русскоязычного интернета решения найти не удалось, кроме заезженных советов обновить драйверы, запустить в режиме совместимости с правами администратора и прочей дежурной бесполезной информации. Пришлось искать в интернетах буржуйских, где и удалось найти решение.

Решение проблемы с вылетами NFS Underground 2 на Windows 7-8

Проблема оказалась в том, что игра не умеет по-нормальному работать с современными многоядерными процессорами, з-за чего и вылетает. Для того, чтобы устранить вылеты, необходимо заставить игру использовать только одно конкретное ядро. Давайте посмотрим, как это можно сделать.

NFS Underground – известная часть серии, вышедшая в далеком 2004 году. Естественно, что на новых системах, вроде Windows 7 или 8, игра работает некорректно. Вылетает Need for Speed Underground 2 по одной простой причине: игра не способна взаимодействовать больше чем с одним ядром процессора, что и вызывает огромные проблемы на большинстве современных конфигураций. Самой распространённой проблемой является вылет в определенный момент, например при входе в гараж или завершении гонки, из-за чего пройти ее становится невозможно.

Здесь не сработают обычные способы заставить игру работать, вроде запуска с правами администратора, обновления драйверов и прочих действий. Если NFS Underground 2 вылетает то можно воспользоваться одним простым решением.

Для стабильной работы NFS надо, чтобы процесс игры использовал только одно ядро процессора. Сделать можно за несколько шагов.

1. Надо запустить диспетчер задач. Вызывается он комбинацией клавиш Ctrl+Alt+Delete.

2. Нужный процесс — speed2.exe. Однако сейчас сделать ничего не получится, поэтому нужно нажать на него правой кнопкой мыши и в выпавшем меню выбрать пункт «Подробнее».

3. Надо снова повторить действия из предыдущего пункта, выбрать процесс speed2.exe, кликнуть по нему правой кнопкой мыши и нажать на «Подробно». Это опять изменит окно диспетчера задач.

4. Появится окно «Соответствие процессоров». Остается лишь снять все галочки, оставив одну. Тем самым игра будет взаимодействовать только с одним ядром процессора, игнорируя остальные.

A rudimentary widescreen fix for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 on PC

Requirements (for the release binaries)

You should be able to download the files necessary in the Releases tab.

WORKAROUND FOR WINE USERS:

Wine WILL throw exceptions for a pagefault at 0x5380e6, however, you can close Wine’s exception handler and continue playing the game. This is due to the game having its own exception handler and Wine doesn’t like that at all.

Hey deluxe345 great video. Nice to see it back. I still play this game and my opinion about it. It is the best race, car tuning game ever made and graphics are not bad especially for a game from that age. Best NFS ever and great memories.

Again, I cried when the vid ended. Wanted to see this race through to the end.

You may want to look into a bigger power supply. wouldn’t want that nice processor and GPU getting fried one day.

Need for Speed: Underground 2

The game is based around tuning cars for street races, resuming the Need for Speed: Underground storyline.

Your game must be patched to v1.2. You will also need a cracked exe.

I. Resolution: UniWS

1) If you already launched the game, make sure to set the resolution back to 640×480.
2) Download and run UniWS.
Select Need For Speed Underground 2 in the drop-down list.
Locate the installation folder (where SPEED2.EXE is, typically C:Program FilesEA GamesNeed For Speed Underground 2).
Specify the New Resolution you wish to use and click Patch.

At this point NFSUG2 is Vert- in widescreen and multi-mon resolutions.

II. FOV: Racer_S hack

1) Download and run (link below)
2) Position the sliders according to your aspect ratio (these are rough empirical settings, feel free to refine):

16:10
X FOV: 1.25
Y FOV: 0.809

3) Launch the game. Press Numpad * to enable the hack.

The far & near chase cameras are now Hor+. The bumper & bonnet cams would require slightly different settings but should be ok in widescreen. The rear view mirror and HUD are unaffected by the hack and just stretch.

HP2WSFix (Widescreen Fix) is a mod for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, created by xan1242

rudimentary widescreen fix for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 on PC

Recalculates camera FOV

Fixes ingame and FrontEnd resolution (permanently disables resolution limiting)

FrontEnd element position scaling (or centering to 4:3)

d3d8to9 automatically enabled with the Ultimate ASI Loader (release binaries only)

Reroute the save directory

Ingame resolution changes are currently buggy (have to enter a race then exit or restart the game)

Needs detail polish (multiplayer server browser, some menus not centered, etc.)

Go to your save directory (My Documents\EA Games), open rendercaps.ini and adjust your resolution under the [Graphics] key ([GraphicsFE] is unused)

Check out HP2WSFix.ini for more adjustments

SSE2 capable CPU (Pentium 4 and newer)

1GB RAM for HD fonts and textures

holy shit, so i brought back NFSU2 for nostalgia trip and i was having a problem with the resolution, it doesnt fit on my laptop and stuck on its original resolution, with your help my problem got solved, thank you so damn much homie +1

Hello! I wanted to play NFS Underground 1 after 15 years but the game crashes just before intro / movies. I get a black screen with mouse cursor.
I am running Windows 10 64bit and I think I have the EU version of the NFS Underground. (I am from EU and I bought it back in 2003 from a shop as retail box)

Please if you could be so kind and help me out, I really want to replay the game and remember my childhood.

I’m going to take a shot in the dark here and guess that the FMVs are the problem. I’ll explain why.

I have the NA version of the game. In the Movies folder there’s a file called «na_boot.mad». If I rename this then all I get is a black screen at launch after a brief loading screen. Sounds familiar, right? It’s possible this file is called «eu_boot.mad» for your installation. If you’re using a NA executable then the game wouldn’t be able to find this file and that’s why you get a black screen. Again, this is only my guess.

If this is true then the solution is to rename the file to «na_boot.mad». There might be other FMV files that need renaming, I’m not sure.

Nfs undercover как сделать на весь экран

Всем привет. В этой статье хотели бы затронуть весьма частую проблему в Need For Speed Underground 2, а именно вопрос о том, как сделать разрешение 1920×1080 или-же иное другое широкоформатное разрешение. По умолчанию в игре доступны лишь квадратные разрешения 4:3 и в этой статье мы расскажем Вам, как сделать разрешение 1920×1080 в NFS Underground 2. На самом деле делает это безумно просто и легко. Без лишних слов и разговоров сразу-же приступим делать широкоформатное разрешение.

Для того, чтобы сделать широкоформатное разрешение в NFS Underground 2, нам потребуется патч Widescreen Fix для NFS Underground 2. Как Вы поняли, этот патч дает возможность сделать широкоформатное разрешение в игре. Итак, далее следуем инструкции чуть ниже.

Огромным плюсом данного патча является то, что он автоматически подбирает разрешение под Ваш монитор. То есть если у Вашего монитора разрешение 1920 на 1080 точек, или-же 1366 на 768, то патч автоматически подберет разрешение и сделает игру с разрешение в соответствии с Вашим монитором. Никаких лишних махинаций делать не нужно.

Поклонники гоночного симулятора Need For Speed очень часто задаются вопросом, как сменить разрешение видео в игре и сделать его широкоформатным. Ответ на данный вопрос довольно прост.

Прежде всего нужно запустить саму игру. Как обычно бывает в таких случаях, нужно войти в «Опции». Далее выбираем «Дисплей», после чего разрешение нужно установить на самое минимальное значение — восемьсот на шестьсот (800х600).

Теперь очень важно не забыть произвести сохранения. После этого нужно выйти из игры, затем найти программу, с помощью которой можно будет изменить разрешение.

Кстати, скачать программу можно будет по ссылке, которая находится на канале Ютуб под видео, прикрепленное в конце этой статьи.

Запустили программу, после чего нужно указать путь к игре. В специальных полях под названием Screen Width/Height введите разрешение экрана — 1366х768 пикселей.

Далее нажимаем на кнопку «Патч». Закрываем программу и снова запускаем игру.

Когда игра запустится, вы убедитесь, что разрешение экрана стало широкоформатным.

Здравствуйте, подскажите пожалуйста решение проблемы. В игре выставлено разрешение монитора, но картинка все равно растянута, по скриншоту видно, особенно на спидометре, он должен быть круглым. Никогда подобной проблемы не было, с другими играми все норм, драйвера обновлены.

Меня просто интересует нет ли в настройках экрана отдельного пунктика на выбор формата экрана. Например, в Deus Ex подобное есть

В панели управления Nvidia — вкладка Дисплей, разворачиваем ее и выбираем пункт Регулировка размера и качества рабочего стола дайте скрин или скажите, какие значения у вас стоят

Могу предположить, что игра не поддерживает широкоформат. Вы разрешение в настройках самой инры поставили или вносили изменения в конфиг?

Игра разрешение поддерживает, но растянутость на любом разрешении. При смене разрешения меняется только качество графики.

Забавно то, что при разрешении 640х480 на экране широкоформатность никак не меняется, меняется только качество картинки. Но при снятии скриншота фрапсом, скин нормального разрешения.

NFSU2 HD Reflections is a mod for Need for Speed: Underground 2, created by AeroWidescreen.

Scales the resolution of road, vehicle, and rear view mirror reflections. Adds traffic lights, car shadows, shader and particle effects to the rearview mirror. Restores geometry such as front-end reflections and world detail.

ResolutionX : Controls the horizontal resolution of reflections.

ResolutionY : Controls the vertical resolution of reflections.

RoadScale : Scales the resolution of road reflections.

VehicleScale : Scales the resolution of vehicle reflections.

MirrorScale : Scales the resolution of the rearview mirror.

HDReflections : Reflection resolution will be increased based on the values set.

HDReflectionBlur : Blur resolution will be increased based on the values set.

ImproveReflectionLOD : Increases the level of detail used in reflections.

FrontEndReflectionBlur : Enables road reflection blur in the front end.

ForceEnableMirror : Rearview mirror will be visible for all camera views.

RestoreSkybox : Adds the skybox to reflections.

ExtendRenderDistance : Increases the render distance of vehicle reflections and the rearview mirror.

VehicleReflectionBrightness : Controls the intensity of vehicle reflections.

Download and extract the mod’s archive

Move the scripts folder to the game’s install folder.

Move dinput8.dll to the game’s install folder. (you can also check if there’s newer version of Ultimate-ASI-Loader avaible.

> Debug vinyl and sponsor vinyls; just go install them from the Vinyls menu.
