Obi Art, or commonly known as Daki BDA, is one of the Demon Arts you can obtain when you reach Level 5 by talking to Gaburiyeli. You can also use Muzan Blood to reroll your Demon Art to obtain it.

Note: As long as you have this Blood Demon Art, you will have 4 obi sashes attached your middle back that pulsate and your M1 and M2 attacks are also replaced with obi sash strikes, providing extended M1 and M2 range. Any existing fighting style will also be removed and new ones cannot be purchased as long as you have this Blood Demon Art even to just use their specials or for other perks such as Soryuu’s rush kick.

Hybrids

Hybrids are demons who were previously slayers before becoming demons, and have kept the breathing styles they had before turning into said demon.

In order to become a hybrid, you must be level 50+, have 5 Muzan Bloods and any obtainable breathing styles but Sun Breathing. Next, you will have to find Kokushibo. He can be found atop a mountain in the Frosty Forest, next to a large Moai figure, near the Green Demon cave. If you choose to become a hybrid, you will be required to pay 5 Muzan Bloods and your level will be set to half of your current level. All your skill points will be reset, and you will have a demon appearance upon reset.

~~When you become a hybrid you will lose your breathing style (except Thunder, Flame and Water,~~ as they will develop into Dark Thunder, Blue Flame and Crimson Water in the respective order) and you will be able to keep all your items.

~~(If you will become hybrid, you won’t lose your breathing. But if you will use breath indict you can’t get breathing except thunder, water and flame)~~ this is incorrect as I tested getting Stone breathing

Note: Be sure to rejoin the game after becoming a Hybrid to avoid botched stats.

Note: Slayer quests are still possible to do, you will not gain access to Demon storyline.

How to Change Demon Art in Demonfall?

To change Demon Art in Demon Fall, you need to go to the Merchant in the Black Market and buy “Muzan Blood.” It will cost you 3000 Yen. Also, note that you will only have 1/3 chance to get a Muzan Blood. So don’t give up if you don’t get in your first roll from the black market merchant in Demon Fall.

Fighting Styles

Fighting Styles are combat techniques that changes not only the animation of your default fighting style, but also enhances and upgrades your combat capabilities into the next level that might be useful in battle.

Slayers

Dual Wielding

Obtainable through Sound Breathing or Beast Breathing. This causes the user’s M1 to be degraded to 4 hits only but its damage is doubled, dealing 10 dmg per swing. (Please note that both Sound and Beast share the same animation.)

Fencing

Obtainable through Insect Breathing. The user’s M1 is doubled in terms of speed and normal combo is automatically upgraded to 6 M1s.

Obtainable through Love Breathing. The user’s M1 is upgraded to 5 hits and it has an extended range.

Demons

Note: Unlike the Slayers’ fighting styles, Demon Fighting Styles must have atleast ONE active technique that the player can use, such as Bell Crusher.

Soryuu Style

Enhances strength and increases the M1 combo up by 1. Has a counter move and it can be obtained from Shoga, who is Akaza’s apprentice.

Requirements: 5,000 Yen and Level 20

Greatsword

Slow and has too much range. But high damage, nonetheless. It can be obtained from Darte.

Temari Balls

Replaces your M1 and M2 with long-ranged projectiles that deals mediocre damage, useful for battling at a safe distance. It can be obtained from Ney.

Requirements: 7,500 Yen, Level 20

Obi Sashes

Obtainable through Obi Art. The user is granted with four obi belts protruding at the middle of their back that acts like tentacle whips, similar to the Rinkaku kagune from the Tokyo Ghoul series.

Temari Balls

Talk to Ney at the Okuyia Hideout near where Victoria is, he is seen leaning on a pillar whilst stepping on a temari ball, as if he is a soccer player. To learn it, you must be at Level 20+ and pay him 7.5K Yen.

Moves

M1 (light attack): The user throws three balls towards the foe, one at a time. Full combo deals 10 per ball, 12 with Temari Mastery.

M2 (heavy attack): The user throws two balls simultaneously at the foe.

Temari Mastery (2 skill points): +2 M1 damage

Air Ball (4 skill points): The user leaps into the air and throws a temari ball from above, hitting anyone who’s below the user. [I-frames]

Moves

Full M1 Combo deals 25 DMG, 30 with Melee Mastery (left click 5 times to do full m1)

M2 (Heavy): 8 DMG. (Right click to do.)

Melee Mastery (1 skill point): +1 M1 damage

Bell Crusher (3 skill points): A counter type move that counters moves or M1s, very good if the enemy likes to rush a lot or play aggressive. This can simply be used as a «get off me» move, or if you like to predict moves.

Rush Kick (3 skill points): Adds a damaging kick to Rush, dealing immediate damage. You cannot use this as a M1 combo extender since the stun time was nerfed.

Note: The Rush Kick move is used by pressing C, which kicks to your opponent, like Slayers using the Rush Ability in which they dash to the target, except the Rush Kick does damage.

Demons NPC

NPC demons randomly spawn at night away from villages and Wisteria trees. Demons can also spawn in caverns. They have a higher spawn rate in caverns, since they are protected from the sun. Each demon will have a randomly generated appearance. Demon NPCs will automatically attack any nearby player or NPC slayers excluding bosses, such as Zenitsu.

Lower Demons (NPC)

Lower Demons do not have access to Demon Arts. They give 30XP when killed. They have a higher spawn rate than Higher Demons, with a chance to drop Demon Horns.

Combat

Lower Demons only have access to basic and heavy attacks. Due to how predictable their first basic attack is, you can Perfect Block them until they die. Otherwise, if they block your basic attacks, they won’t guard the next combo you do.

Higher Demons (NPC)

Higher Demons have more health than Lower Demons and have access to Blood Arts. They give 90XP and 30 yen when killed and will always drop a Demon Horn. They only use the first two offensive moves of the Demon Art they have. As well, Higher Demons may suddenly Perfect Block your basic attacks, and will cancel their own basic combos into heavy attacks if you guard for too long.

Higher Demons have a noticeably lower spawn rate than Lower Demons, but will always spawn for specific Slayer Missions.

Dark Thunder Higher Demon

Dark Thunder Higher Demons have access to a leaping attack. Previously, these Demons used the «Dark Thunder» move at close range; however, with one of the more recent updates, this was removed from NPC Demons, making them much easier to handle than before.

Combat

With the loss of their close-range grab, it is much easier to fight these Demons. The leap can be easily dodged or guarded, just making them a slightly stronger version of Lower Demons. Bait them into using their leap, then punish it with your Breathing or Demon Art. You can still get them to stop blocking by basic attacking their guard, but this can be unreliable as they now Perfect Block.

Shockwave Higher Demon

Shockwave Higher Demons have Air Type and Explosive Fury as their moves.

Combat

Shockwaves Demons can be a nuisance if they’re present in groups. They’ll only use Air Type if you’re farther away, and they’ll use Explosive Fury every other time that they would normally go for a basic attack. You can dodge or block Air Type, but always dodge farther than you’d think since lag can make you get hit anyways. Explosive Fury can be blocked and punished by a basic combo. Over all shockwave is insanely busted it is likely to get a few nerfs in the next few updates.

Final Selection Demons

A variant of demons seen in Final Selection exclusively.

Mini Bosses

Slayer Hunter (Blue Demon)

In Final Selection, the Slayer Hunter is an optional boss. He awards a Blue Horn when defeated, but doing so can alleviate some of the difficulty of Final Selection. The Slayer Hunter has extremely long-range attacks, allowing him to harass the player from very far away. It is recommended to fight him up-close, as his melee attacks can be blocked and dodged easily. He is also found near the Slayers Grove and Entertainment District, dropping around 500 XP. When fighting the Blue Demon in the final selection, he has 500 health, but when you fight him near the Slayers Grove he has and additional 200 health, bringing him up to 700 health.

Green Demon

Summoned in the Frosty Cavern by accepting the Green Demon crow quest. He is similar in size to the Slayer Hunter, but green instead of blue, and has a different body and facial structures. The Green Demon’s basic attacks is almost similar to that of a Higher Demon, and possesses a very fast charge and AoE spikes that can execute downed players. Defeating him drops a Green Horn required for crafting the Crystal Key. He drops around 220 (possibly 250) XP.

It also spawns at Entertainment District.

Axe Demon

Located in the White Underground, a cavern in the White Peak. Bigger than other demons, he uses a large axe to fight. Has a AOE leap move, AOE short range slash move and basic axe slashes. Once you’re in close range, continually clicking stun locks him until death. Defeating him drops a Demon Collar required for crafting the Crystal Key or for obtaining Flame Breathing, Love Breathing or Serpent Breathing.

Crystal Demon

Found behind the doors in Okuyia Cavern. They are unlocked by using the Crystal Key on a box of crystals. This boss drops the Crystal Essence, used for crafting a Custom Nichirin Sword. This boss drops 1000 exp and 1000 yen. (Note: the Crystal Demon only spawns when the Crystal Key is used, so glitching through the doors will not make him spawn.)

Demon Storyline

Prologue

Your story begins in the Frosty Forest, just outside of your home village. You were collecting firewood for your family but you took longer than expected. Upon returning to your home, you find that your family has been slaughtered. You can still see a long-haired demon around the bodies. Angered, you pick up your father’s Nichirin and attempt to slay the demon, only to be defeated, blacking out as you acknowledge your failure.

Main Story

You wake up in a red-lit cave, surrounded by unfamiliar faces. You approach the demon with long hair, who introduces himself as Charles. Charles explains how your family was murdered by bandits, and how a group of demons found you wounded and saved you, converting you into a demon. Charles assures you that the rumored savagery the demons possess is greatly exaggerated, and far different when you see it through a demon’s eyes. He lectures you on how demons are just surviving, and that demons feeding on humans are no different from humans feeding on their livestock. He instructs you to become stronger and to talk to the Alchemist when finished.

Once you reach level 5, talk to the Alchemist. The alchemist questions you on your eagerness to awaken your Blood Demon Art, and sends you to what he describes as a ‘trial’ to test if you are ready.

Rocher brings you to a dark room in your mind, where the bodies of your forgotten family are strewn across the ground. You look at them in surprise, more shocked by the fact that you forgot their faces than their presence itself. You move further on until you reach a shadowy demon slayer. You realize the demon slayer you face is the version of yourself if you were able to defeat Charles.

After defeating your alternate self, you return to the red-lit cave. Rocher speaks to you, explaining that you have now awoken your Blood Demon Art, but you need more experience to use it.

Impressed, Charles decides to give you a mission he was assigned. A group of 8 Mizunoto was heading towards a demon camp when their cart crashed. Once you have killed all 8, Charles acknowledges your superior strength and instructs you to travel to the Infinity Castle, as you will now take orders/quests directly from «THAT MAN»/Muzan Kitbutsuji. He asks you to prove your loyalty to him by bringing him 30 Broken Nichirins. After this, he tasks you with killing the former Water Hashira, Urokodaki. After killing him, you note how much greater of a challenge he was than previous foes, despite his age, before returning to the Infinity Castle.

Muzan then orders you to go continue the ongoing raid at Okuiya Village when reinforcements arrive. With the raid mostly concluded, the other demons have departed, leaving carnage and the bodies of Slayers in their wake. You are tasked with killing the 20 Slayer reinforcements that are scattered around the village. Once you have killed all the slayers, Grimm, the former Hashira and Wind Trainer, arrives on the scene. After an arduous battle, you wonder why people of such a great age would still try to fight for the Demon Slayers, but you decide to return and report back to Muzan.

You return to Muzan, but he responds with «I’m busy right now, come back later.»

It can be assumed that there is another NPC that you are supposed to talk to but almost all of them either tell you to go away or respond with «. «

I-frames

What is I-frames and how does it work?

This is what I-frames look like

I-frames (or Invincibility Frames) is one of the three defensive states that players can utilize via skill activation. This is either depicted as afterimages/trails of movement or a translucent baby-bluish aura surrounding the player’s avatar. This is a mechanic that provides invincibility, obviously. Meaning that the player’s avatar won’t be affected by incoming attacks and it will just phase through the avatar itself, much like being a ghost. However, I-frame moves has a limited amount of time, and it’ll dissipate eventually upon usage. In Demon Fall, this defensive state is commonly used when locked under infinite combos, allowing them to escape it.

Demon Horns

Demon Horns are items that are obtained by defeating normal NPC demons (e.g no blue demon, no boss demon..etc). They aren’t a guaranteed drop, but there’s a high chance that the demon killed will drop one. Defeating a higher NPC demon (demon with a Blood Art) will guarantee a Demon Horn drop 100% drop rate. Currently, only the Flame and Wind trainers need 20 Demon Horns for their breath quests. In the Final Selection, you will most likely obtain more than 20 Demon Horns, as you have to kill 30 demons to complete the exam. Demon Horns can also be sold for a decent amount of Yen, 25 Yen per horn, at the Slayer Corps HQ. Demon Horns are droppable. ~~They give no benefit to Demons~~, other than trading.

Note:demons can sell demon horns as long as they find a way in Slayer Corps.

Hybrid Breathing Styles

Hybrid Breathing Styles are Breathing Styles used by former Demon Slayers who have abandoned their humanity and became Demons. These breathing styles have been enhanced and infused with a Blood Demon Art(not proven to be true in-game), causing their colors to change/transition into something more sinister and evil. However, these recolors are purely cosmetic and doesn’t give out a buff whatsoever, don’t get your hopes too high.

Note: Moon Breathing is not included, even it is a breathing style exclusive to hybrids.

Dark Thunder Breathing

The tyrannical dark thunder summoned by the blood red sky, its strikes has killed multiple lives of the innocent for their naivety.

You’ll also need this for the Dark Thunder Katana.

Blue Flame Breathing

It is said that blue flames are hotter than red-orange, so hot that it also burns the bones away, causing their victim’s body to crumble gruesomely.

Crimson Water Breathing

You call that crimson water? No, no. That’s blood, purely fresh blood; The blood of the innocent humans they have killed and consumed.

Ironically, there’s a Blood Demon Art that ACTUALLY revolves around the sea and ocean, and that belongs to Gyokko. One of the Upper Moons that is yet to appear in the game and in the anime series as well.

Breathing Styles

Usually, Breathing Styles have four to five skills, but some of them can range up to six to eight. However, you cannot use a Breathing Style technique if your total concentration breathing gauge is empty(the white bar that is beside the player’s avatar), in order to restore the breathing bar, you’ll have to press and hold G until the bar is full/partially full, you don’t have to hold it all the time since it locks you from swinging your sword, dashing, unsheathing, etc., another thing is that every breathing techniques(depending on your Breathing Style) requires a specific amount of the breathing bar in order to execute the technique(e.g: Water Breathing’s first form requires 35% of the breathing bar).

You can acquire a Breathing Style from a trainer/cultivator by doing tasks for them. However, you cannot learn more than one breathing style, but if you desire to try the other breathing styles, you can reset your breathing style by drinking a potion called «Breath Indict» that can be acquired from the Black Merchant and then, find another cultivator that specializes in their breathing style they teach. I would like to mention that some Breathing Styles requires a specific amount level, and prestige in order to unlock it, otherwise the cultivator NPC isn’t going to interact with the player. There is one breathing style that requires the player to become a Hybrid other than just having a high level and one prestige. Furthermore, some Breathing Styles will grant the player a special weapon that is exclusive only with the breathing style they’re bundled with, but it does prohibit them from crafting new Nichirin Swords after learning the breathing style and obtaining its weapon, the only way to get rid of the weapon is by drinking the Breath Indict.

Crystal Demon

The Crystal Demon (also known as Lower Moon 3) is a boss in Demonfall. He can be accessed by using a Crystal Key in Okuyia Cavern, to open the door to reach the Crystal Demons Hideout. The Crystal Demon has 1200 HP, and is very hard to defeat with his high damaging moves and big AoE if you aren’t experienced. After defeating him, he will drop a Crystal Essence, which is used to forge a Custom Nichirin (e.g Flames Nichirin, Water Nichirin. etc) and Kamado Nichirin. Defeating him gives you 1000 Yen and 1000 EXP.

Moveset

His moveset consists of 2 mid-long ranged attacks, and 1 short range guard breaker. At the start of the battle, he will use 1 long ranged attack, where he summons spikes to protrude from the ground. Next, he will use his 1 mid ranged attack, which looks the same as the long ranged attack but will not go as far. It is recommended to block these two attacks immediately upon entering his arena. Whenever players are nearby, he will use his guard breaker move. He will stomp and create crystals surrounding him in a small AOE. This move flings you. you can immediately dash backwards and out of the attack zone. It’s recommended to stay close to him so that you can quickly dodge his guard breaker without having to deal with his long ranged attacks. For his close range attacks he uses Soryuu Fighting Style.

Flame Breathing

In order to learn Flame Breathing, you must find the Flame Trainer Rengoku, located at the top of White Peak. To learn Flame Breathing, you will need to complete a few tasks to prove your worth. After you have completed both of those tasks you will learn First Form: Unknowing Fire, and be able to learn the other forms using the Slayer Skill Tree.

Flame Breathing’s moveset revolves around offense and countering. Due to how versatile the moves are, they can be used for mobility, offense, and defense. There is a counter move, and guardbreaking moves. They are all very fast in terms of cast time. This breathing style is not for combos, as almost none of them can be used to M1 extend, but for quick jabs of damage onto the enemy.

Obtaining the Breathing

First Task: Gather 20 Demon Horns and return to Rengoku

Second Task: Defeat the Axe Demon and grab his collar.

Mist Breathing

To learn Mist Breathing, first find the Mist Trainer, Tokito, in the Frosty Forest. To find him, follow the path back towards the starting area until you see the shape of a giant tree. Walk to the right side of it and follow a straight line until you see a rock ledge. From there, go North-West until you run into a rock with some snow falling off the side of it. Go around, and you should find Muichiro near a tent.

Mist focuses on making quick attacks then quickly fading away, which is why this breathing has 1 I-frame move and 1 teleporting move. This is one of the best breathings for combos and has had frequent nerfs due to how good the combos can be.

If you have the Tokito clan/family, you get : 10% XP boost and a special Mist breathing move called Mist Breathing: Seventh Form, Obscuring Clouds.

Obtaining the Breathing

First Task: After talking to him, pay him 2,000 Yen.

Second Task: Enter a maze where you must find Tokito (no time limit).

Introduction

How to obtain Sun Breathing

Kamado family does NOT affect the mission for Sun Breathing. To obtain this breathing style, you must find Tanjiro. Tanjiro can be located in the Coast Forest, near the border of the Frosty Forest. He can be seen overlooking a beach. In order to learn Sun Breathing, you must fulfill the requirements below:

Yoriichi Tsugikuni (継 (つぎ) 国 (くに) 縁 (より) 壱 (いち) The Inventor Of The Sun Breathing, Also The First Breathing Ever Created.

Requirements for Sun Breathing: Be at least Prestige 1 and level 50

Anyone can get Sun Breathing without doing any further quests as long as they are Prestige 1 and level 50. Maxing out all skill trees with Sun Breathing costs 99 Skill Points, requiring Prestige 9 and 91 Skill Points with Kamado family, considering already having Dance of The Fire God, saving 8 Skill Points.

Rui Lower Moon 5

Rui is a storyline boss in Demonfall. Rui is a demon who holds the rank of Lower Moon 5 and uses the String Art (there will be changes to his skills that are different from the normal String Art, however most the moves are the same). You Encounter Rui in a quest from Ubuyashiki after completing Ubuyashiki’s first mission to eliminate 8 demons. Rui does give exp when executed.

Moveset

Rui uses String Art, but his moveset is different from the ones that players are able to use. However, his moves are similar. The first attack is the same string pull that players have, albeit with a much longer range and no start up at all. The second attack he has is a string cage. It functions the same, however it is a large sphere rather than an oval like the one players have, and is unblockable. His third and fourth attack is the same as the string claw. One version of his attack is the exact same as the string claw players have, while the other version strikes vertically rather than diagonally.

Kamado is the surname of our Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba protagonists, Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado. This family has extraordinary buffs/perks that can be proven useful in-game. But the only downside to this is that it has a 0.5% Chance of getting rolled as the player’s surname.

Doma is the current penultimate boss in demonfall, he is the second boss in the infinity castle raid quest, and when defeated, he gives 7K xp.

Who is Doma?

Doma is the upper moon 2 boss in demonfall. You will encounter him after you beat Akaza upper moon 3. He uses Ice Art.

Doma is a psychopath, meaning that he is incapable of experiencing emotions, but he does have a crush towards Shinobu. And he’s also merciless, as he killed Kotoha Hashibira, Inosuke’s mother, while Inosuke was still just a baby.

Ice Clones

He summons copies of himself made of ice, they can each attack you and can execute you. (Each of their M1 deals 10 DMG)[BDA]

Ice Pillars:

Doma creates a chunk of ice protruding from the ground against his target, capable of launching them. [BDA]

Ice Veins:

Doma let’s of veins of ice in a radius around him, anyone within that radius would be frozen within a lotus-shaped chunk of ice. [BDA]

Ice Surf:

Doma surfs towards you and if anyone gets hit they will get ragdoll for long enough to get into his M1 combo, it leaves behind a trail of ice surface. This move will bug Doma out of the map most of the time. [BDA]

Every of his moves deals around 50-70 DMG and stuns for long period of time.

Kokushibo, the only known user of Moon Breathing.

Moon Breathing is a very skill-based breathing style. It’s moveset revolves around multi-ranged combo extenders and instantaneous attacks, making it ideal for combos and poking. However, it’s overshadowed by other Breathing Styles/BDA that have more block breakers, iFrame moves or easier-to-perform combos.

Moon Breathing has shown to be ineffective against Flame Breathing.

Moon breathing comes with a high cost, requiring 33 skill points to unlock everything. This means that maxing out all three demon skill trees with moon breathing requires 89 skill points (prestige 8).

How to Obtain

First, talk to the Kokushibo NPC. By clicking «I accept», you are then turned into a hybrid, ~~losing half of your levels~~ (False, It resets your level to 25, sometimes extra depending on however much XP you have at the time.). The changes in appearance are only applied when the user resets their character. After resetting, when you are at least level 50, talk to the Kokushibo NPC again. By clicking «»Ee biko!», you will obtain Moon Breathing with no further quests.

Overview

Zenitsu using Thunder Breathing

Thunder Breathing’s moveset revolves around teleporting and doing M1s to start very deadly combos. Most of the moves do low damage but are easy to hit. Thunder also has 2 moves that teleport around the target allowing for another M1 combo, Rice Spirit and Thunder Swarm. To balance this out, most of the moves are blockable if they can combo extend(e.g Thunder Swarm, Rice Spirit).Thunderclap and flash works perfectly for a bloody combo ender. Thunder breathing comes with a normal cost, requiring 12 skill points to unlock all the moves.

Location

At the left side of the Coast Forest, beside a Wisteria Tree, there is a house. Inside the house an old man named Kujima (Retired Thunder Hashira and trainer of Zenitsu himself, real name is Jigoro Kuwajima) will teach you the Thunder Breathing after you complete a few tasks for him.

Obtaining the Breathing

First Quest: Give the trainer 20 soups from Okuyia Village (Equivalent to 400 Yen).

Second Quest: Deliver a letter to a man named Marrone, in the Slayer Corps Headquarters. Marrone can be found in front of the hotel/inn in the Slayer Corps, where he will provide a strange line of text.

Third Quest: Give the trainer 4,000 Yen

The total cost to finish all tasks and learn Thunder Breathing: 4,400 Yen

Zenitsu

Who is Zenitsu?

What Zenitsu boss looks like.

Agatsuma Zenitsu is a mini-boss in Demonfall that uses Thunder Breathing. Demons can get a quest for executing him, however Slayers can still kill him and get exp. This mini-boss has 350 HP and gives 300 XP upon execution, and respawns fast just like the Green Demon and Axe Demon. Zenitsu will lock on and attack any player that enters his range, no matter if they are a Slayer or a Demon.

It is recommended to take him on in a group, but if you prefer to do it solo if you know and memorize his patterns well, go ahead. Zenitsu’s speed increases as his HP gets lower, it is highly recommended to bait him by using a knocked down player. Zenitsu will put more priority on the knocked player rather than the players who are alive, or bait him to using his skills before rushing to him and attack him(if you prefer solo). The one who is closest to Zenitsu will get targeted, either you or your teammate. Zenitsu’s respawn time is around a minute. Zenitsu is located north-east of Okuiya Village. Follow the right path of Sakura Passage from Okuyia Village, arriving near the open field where Zenitsu spawns.

To learn Sound Breathing, you must head to Slayer Corps and find Tengen Uzui somewhere behind the backyard of a house next to a neighboring house and Jako’s place. Similar to Beast Breathing, you’ll be granted a pair of gigantic Nichirin Cleavers which each have a notch in the sharp ends of their blades and are held together at the hilt by a metal chain, making it very reminiscent to nunchucks or kusarigama; a weapon that is exclusive to Sound Breathing users.

It costs 17 skill points to complete the entire skill tree.

Kendo Mastery does not change the animation nor give another M1 and Kendo Agility II gives no improvement to swing speed(unlike Agility I which can allow you to obtain Lunge). Just like Insect, Beast, Love and Moon Breathing, you can’t craft another Nichirin while you have this breathing style. It also shares Beast’s guardbreak and M1 animations.

Sound focuses on blinding and sending people in the air with delayed swings that creates massive explosions.

Levels

Levels are gained by gaining EXP from a wide variety of hostile demon and slayer NPCs. Each level equates to a single skill point, and these skill points can be used to upgrade the Slayer Skill Tree & Demon Skill Tree. The bar gets progressively harder to fill per level, and each death to any source will result in 25% of your current EXP to be lost. You can find your current level after pressing M at the bottom left corner. There is also a purple progress bar to the right of your hunger bar. This bar shows your current progress and EXP needed to reach the next level.

The max level is 50, however, this can be increased through prestige (+5 levels to the max level per prestige). The max level with prestige 10 is 100.

(NOTE: Levels and EXP are not gained by killing other players unless the player has Body Absorption)

Green Demon

The Green Demon running towards a player.

Green Demon is a large mini-boss demon located in the Frosty Cavern, a sublocation in the Frosty Forest.

This boss has 2 special attacks, along with a slow windup punch combo that deals 24 damage.

This boss can execute you by either using the spike attack or devouring you unlike the Axe Demon.

The Green Demon can block, but otherwise has no real defenses at melee range until his Ground Spikes finishes its cooldown. Has around 400 Health.

Special Attacks

The Green Demon will turn slightly and proceed to dash forward immediately, this move has a relatively large hitbox, will deal 26 damage, and will send you flying if you are hit. Can be blocked.

Ground Spikes

The Green Demon will raise its arms above its head before slamming them into the ground after roughly 0.8 seconds, dealing 22 damage and sending you flying. Be careful, as if you are hit by this move, Green Demon is likely to follow up with a Bash before you stand up, dealing even more damage to you. This attack can be baited and must be dashed away from to avoid.

Can be use for obtaining Beast Breathing or to make the Crystal Key

Tactics

Dodge his dash + ground attack and then rush him. His attack is too slow to hit even with Slayer Nichirin. Try to hit every attack cause every hit stuns him for short time.

The blue demon is a boss demon that can be found in the Final Selection, or somewhere in Corps Grove.

This boss has 3-5 special attack and a strong punch which deals 25-50 damage.

In contrary of other boss, he can’t execute you.

The Blue demon has the uncanny ability to fling and damage other demons.

The blue demon can’t block attacks, but when hit, there a chance he becomes stunned for 3 seconds.

He has around 300 health in final selection.

Nichirin Swords

A Nichirin Sword or in other words, a sword/katana is a special weapon made of sun ore that humans use in order to slay demons.

Overview

Nichirin Swords are special swords made to kill demons. The appearence of these special blades look similar to katanas, but have extraordinary abilities to assist humans in finishing off demons. When obtained, it is seen that the blade will change color depending on the owner of the sword. Some slayers, like Inosuke, use two nichirin blades instead of one, both with indented and rigid. Other slayers, like Uzui, Gyomei, and Misturi have alternate weapons instead of the casual sword. Misturi wields a whip, Gyomei uses a Mace and axe, while Tengen has two cleavers.

Gyutaro Former Upper Moon 6

Who is Gyutaro?

Gyutaro is a former Upper Moon 6 before Kaigaku, a demon boss that uses the Sickle Art BDA.

Gyutaro’s damage is significantly high and his Execution Speed is also very fast.

Character Info

Gyutaro was born into poverty within the lowest class of the Entertainment District. His mother would often beat and try to kill him even before he was born due to presumed attempted miscarriage since she could not afford to feed him, but her efforts were proven to be in vain when she died of syphilis.

Throughout his childhood, he was berated for his appearance, voice, and poor hygiene from the other residents of the district. When his sister, Ume, was born he gained a sense of pride and acted as her «collector» within the district.

After Daki turned thirteen, he returned home from work one day, only to discover his sister tied up and burned to near death and left to die in a ditch because she blinded a samurai, gouging his eye out with a hairpin. He jumped into the ditch and began to panic, tearfully demanded that his sister be turned back to normal while cradling her body. As he embraces his dying sister, the same samurai whom she blinded appeared, snuck up behind Gyutaro and slashed his back in an attempt to kill him. He then overheard the samurai speaking to the brothel manager, who is revealed to be the one who asked to have Gyutaro killed. However, before the samurai is able to finish him off, he jumps out of the ditch, killing the manager with a swift cut to the neck. Gyutaro mocks the samurai about how good his life must have been as they turn to face each other. Gyutaro cuts through the samurai’s katana, cutting the samurai’s head before he could react. Gyutaro expresses his irritation that the samurai did what he did over «one measly eyeball».

Despite being injured, Gyutaro carried his sister Ume’s dying body throughout the Hanamachi district in search of help, but was ultimately hit with the hard and cruel truth that there was simply no one who would give aid to them no matter where he went. He eventually succumbed to exhaustion, both he and Ume being on the verge of death. Before the end, they were then found by the then Upper Rank Six Doma, who was searching the Entertainment Districts to devour the young women of the area. He then offered to «help» them by turning them into demons, due to him being a «Nice Guy» and gave them a few drops of his blood to initiate their transformations. He then gleefully challenged them to become powerful enough to be chosen by «that man» and join the Twelve Kizuki themselves.

At the end of his life, his sister walked with him to hell.

Blocking is extremely useful as you can block his Arc Rampage and Circular Slashes.

Try and bait out his circular slashes or play aggressively to cancel them out, arc rampage would come out extremely early however, so try baiting out that attack and blocking it before you attack him.

Gyutaro will teleport to the nearest player within 500 studs.

(Note: 1 out of 3 times he will be glitched, and you wont be able to kill him. The admins are still trying to fix this.)

(Note: After Update 3.0.1, I suggest bringing in a group/squad, as Arrox amplified Gyutaro’s AI, making him impossible to be cheesed solo.)

If you end up doing Gyutaro alone,the best way to kill him is to hold block,block his arc rampage/circular slashes and then cancel his m2 with shoulder bash and start your combo.(NOTE)this is almost impossible if theres blue or green demon so try to go away as much as you can and lure Gyutaro into a safe,clean area.

Blood Demon Art

Overview

Every time a demon devours a human, the demon becomes stronger, [2] and they can eventually develop unique supernatural powers, known as Blood Demon Arts. The power bestowed by the Blood Demon Arts is different from demon to demon that seem to be based around a central theme, (i.e. martial arts, sleep, the sea) some of which are seemingly based on a demon’s past, personality, interests, and/or occupation. Moreover, Blood Demon Arts may not have a singular usage, and instead grant multiple abilities under the same concept or theme. As suggested by its name, all supernatural phenomena and effects use their wielders’ blood as a medium to manifest themselves in reality. Essentially, Blood Demon Arts are blood magic.

The abilities and effects granted through Blood Demon Arts can vary greatly. Some can be combat-orientated (i.e. creating dozens of blades) or more supplementary and practical (i.e. controlling a fortress, manifesting illusions). Some are more simple and recognizable (i.e. manipulating electricity and ice), while some are more complex and unorthodox (i.e. creating invisible arrows that control a person’s vector, controlling one’s biology), thus making the abilities of demon-kind extremely versatile and powerful.

It is implied that Blood Demon Arts can be shared, as seen with Rui being able to share his spider-themed Blood Demon Art with demons in his «family», granting them Blood Demon Arts (as well as characteristics) based on spiders. [3]

Blood Demon Arts are not to be confused with other supernatural abilities possessed by demons including but not limited to their regeneration, flesh morphing, extrasensory perception, and absorption abilities.

Weaknesses

A universal weakness to Blood Demon Arts is that they are susceptible to both sunlight and Nichirin weapons, meaning that they will disintegrate or be dispelled when exposed to sunlight or cut with a Nichirin Sword, possibly attributed to the fact that each ability and technique is created from a demon’s flesh and blood. [4] [5]

Another weakness is related to the demon’s blood, where if in some situation where their body’s blood gets depleted, they will be unable to use their Blood Demon Arts. This is evident in Kokushibo being unable to unleash any crescent moon blades when Genya Shinazugawa’s blood-sucking trees are holding the Upper Rank down. [6]

Entertainment District

What is Entertainment District?

Entertainment District is a brand new area located in Corps Grove.

It has no use, as it is destroyed and it’s infested by Higher Demons, Blue Demons and Green Demons, and there are some traces of Slayers as well. This is also where Gyutaro spawns as an open-world boss.

Location

Head to the unnamed village in Corps Grove, and head to where the Blue Demon usually spawns at, and you’ll see a path created to a brand new region of the map. Just keep following it until you stumbled across a destroyed town, which was once Yoshiwara, Tokyo AKA Entertainment District. A once beautiful and flashy district, now decimated into nothing but ruins and debris after the intense fight between Tengen and the Kamaboko Squad vs. Former Upper Moon 6, Gyutaro and Daki.

Gyutaro only has three skills and he spams them alot, so be extremely careful.

Tips and Tricks on defeating him:

blocking is extremely useful as you can block his blood sickles and arc rampage, try and bait out his circular slashes or play aggressively to cancel them out, arc rampage would come out extremely early however, so try baiting out that attack and blocking it before you attack him.

Serpent Breathing emphasizes on slow forward slashes, and it requires 12 skill points to complete the skill tree. For a Serpent Breathing with STW and Kendo Mastery, you’ll be requiring 68 skill points to fully complete it all.

Information

To learn Beast Breathing, you must go to the unnamed village close to the Slayer Corps, and run straight ahead. After learning the breathing style, players will be granted with a pair of special swords with its hilts/handguards removed, handles wrapped in cloth (as well as its sheaths), and blade edges that are jagged, a weapon that is exclusive for Beast Breathing users.

Kendo Mastery does not change the animation nor give another M1 and Kendo Agility II gives no improvement to swing speed (unlike Agility I which can allow you to obtain Lunge). Just like Insect and Moon Breathing, you can’t craft another Nichirin while you have this breathing style. It also shares Insect’s guardbreak, using a kick.

Beast focuses on aggressive close ranged attacks.

First & Final Task: Give Inosuke 1 Green Horn, 1 Blue Horn, and 100 Meat.

Titles

(At the moment of patch 4.0 titles are fixed.)

Note: Ranked wins titles have been capped at Superior Demon for Demons, and Kinoe for slayers. Group/Faction titles can go beyond this point.

Ttles are different titles given at certain milestones in the Ranked PVP gamemode. To earn Points, you will need to win a match, the first win you get 2 points, the other wins you will get 1 point. If you lose a match, you lose 1 Point. There is currently no limit to the Points, but after 300 Points you cannot get another rank/benefit for anything. You can never go below Zero Points, and if you want to check your points, you can see it on the player menu when you press tab. It is possible to lose your rank.

Note: Sometimes getting a certain amount of points will not upgrade your title/rank and will stay the same.

Being a high rank currently has no known benefits, other than to flex or if you like the title of the ranks, or to scare people away from your sheer PVP abilities.

In Ranked, every single Breathing, Demon Art, and things that can be used from set keybinds (e.g Shotgun, food. etc), is also available in Ranked matches. There will be no banned things at all, allowing you to use the meta or most broken combos for Ranked.

Insect Breathing

To learn Insect Breathing, you must first find the Insect Trainer Shinobu at the Demon Slayer Corps. She can be found sitting on the roof of the tavern. After you learn Insect Breathing, you will get a special sword, exclusive to Insect Breathing users.

The sword has a red and green hilt, with a flower-like handguard. This sword overrides any Nichirin you currently have. With this sword, you will also do different m1 and m2 animations. The m1 combo is a 6-hit combo, as the 3 quick attacks count. These animations look like quick, stab-like attacks. Kendo Mastery does not change these animations, nor give another M1 hit. There are currently only 4 moves for the Insect Breathing Style. The Kocho family does not provide any sort of buff to the breathing.

You automatically get 6 M1s after learning the Breathing and getting the sword, with or without Kendo Mastery.

Insect Breathing’s Sword m1s are faster then a regular Nichirin blade.

Obtaining the Breathing

First Task: Pay the Trainer 10,000 yen

Note: When you buy the Breathing Style from Shinobu for 10,000, it comes with the sword automatically.

Trinkets

There are various items that spawn around the world for players to collect and sell, these items are called trinkets.

After you have collected some trinkets and are ready to sell them, you can bring them to the merchant in either Okuyia Village or Hayakawa Village, where he will exchange your trinkets for money. Trinkets have different qualities, scaling from the lowest quality Rust to the highest quality Gold. If we compare a Bronze Jar to a Gold Jar, the gold jar can be sold for 4x the amount of what the Bronze Jar can. There are also special trinkets, such as the Gold Crown, and the Ancient Coin. These trinkets have only one variety, and will always sell for their fixed price.

Ores are not Trinkets, and Trinkets are not ores, so when you sell your trinkets the ores will be untouched, and vice versa.

He is regretful that he wasn’t able to arrive in time to help, but he agrees with your decision to uncover the reason your family was killed. He tells you to find Hayaka in the soup shack at Hayakawa Village. Upon arriving, you talk with Hayaka. She tells you to complete the Final Selection exam and become a Demon Slayer. From here on, your journey truly begins. After completing the Final Selection exam and becoming a certified demon slayer, you head back to tell Hayaka. She is pleased that you have succeeded and tells you information about the murder of your family. It turns out that the demon you killed was not the murderer, instead, he was merely a decoy to throw the evidence behind. The true murderer was Muzan Kibutsuji, the Demon King. You find out that your uncle Kohon is a Retired Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps. Hayaka then sends you on a quest to kill Okuro, the former Lower Moon 6. When Okuro has been successfully defeated, he tries to tell you the location of Muzan Kibutsuji, but he gets silenced by Muzan Kibutsuji’s curse before he can tell you the location at all. You go back to Hayaka and she tells you to speak to the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, Kagaya Ubuyashiki. When you first meet Ubuyashiki, he sends you on a mission to eliminate 8 demons who are attacking a village. Once you return, he congratulates you and then sends you on another mission to kill some more demons and ultimately Rui, who holds the rank of Lower Moon 5. Rui is a String Demon Art user. After you finish killing Rui, Lower Moon 5, you return to Kagaya Ubuyashiki and report to him. Afterwards, he’ll give you a mission to exterminate 20 demons that are attacking Okuyia Village, mostly consisting of Higher Demons over Lower Demons. When you fulfilled your duty by killing 20 demons in Okuiya Village, an unexpected demon arrives, who holds the position of Lower Rank 2 and he uses Shadow Art. After you stopped the Lower Moon 2, the Hashira meeting takes place in the Slayer Corps. Muzan Kibutsuji then sends 20 demons to attack the Slayer Corps, you and the Hashiras have to fight all the demons. When You finally stop all the demons, Muzan takes you and the Hashiras to the Infinity Castle. Yourself and Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira, will face the Upper Moon 3, Akaza, The demon uses Shockwave art. If you do manage to take them down, finish them off then run, since they’ll probably have support or will return to finish you off. [Blockable] Источник Boss Raid Contents Boss Raid, or commonly known as Survival Mode, is the brand new gamemode in Demonfall which requires every players to be Prestige 5+ to participate. Like every survival modes in various video games, the player’s current objective is to survive for as long as they can, constantly defending from hordes of Demons and Slayers, getting harder the further they survive more waves. However, in Demonfall, the mode seems to be NOT endless, as it has a limit of 20 waves and every 5 waves, a boss will spawn in the battlefield. In order to enter this gamemode, you must find the Sanemi Shinazugawa NPC at Kamakura Village, who is located at the right of the Soup Restaurant, sitting on a fence. The Raid as seen in Auratix’s stream. Bosses Shinobu, Insect Pillar Upon reaching Wave 5, you get to face the Insect Hashira herself, Shinobu Kocho. Much like her Infinity Castle variant, her only move is Dance of the Dragonfly. And Shinobu drops 4500 exp upon death. Rengoku, Flame Pillar Getting to Wave 10 means you get to battle the energetic Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku. Now, we all know that Kyojuro never shown his moveset in the Infinity Castle raid, but in this mode, his techniques are Unknowing Fire and Rising Scorching Sun. And Rengoku drops 9000 exp upon death. Kokushibo, Upper Moon 1 Wave 15‘s boss is the Upper Moon Rank 1 and the Moon Breathing user, Michikatsu «Kokushibo» Tsugikuni. His techniques are similar to his Infinity Castle counterpart. And Kokushibo drops 13, 500 exp upon his death. Yoriichi, Sun Breathing Slayer The final boss of the raid, is none other than the legendary Demon Slayer and the Sun Breathing creator himself, Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Unlike other bosses, Yoriichi is unique among them, having a moveset composed of five moves, Dance of the Fire God, Flash Dance, Burning Bones, Summer Sun, Dragon Sun Halo Head Dance, and Fake Rainbow. He is the first boss to use an I-frame move to escape combos. And Yoriichi drops 18, 000 exp upon death. Источник Final Selection The Final Selection is a challenge that «potential-slayers» need to complete in order to become a recognized Demon Slayer by the Demon Slayer Corps. This exam is only for humans. Demons cannot enter the exam area as it is surrounded by Wisteria Trees (You will get burned if you are near). The Final Selection consists of a challenge to kill 30 demons with an optional challenge of killing the Blue Demon within 45 minutes. The Blue Demon The Blue Demon is an optional mission because killing him is a huge waste of time and is not worth it as this «boss» gives no XP at all. This boss drops a «Blue Horn». This item is useless unless you want Beast Breathing. It is not recommended to engaging into combat with him. The Blue Demon can also damage and knock-out other demons when attacking you. When you are on the ground, it cannot kill you, so if you are going to try and kill the Blue Demon, kill the other demons around him first. In other words, the blue demon cannot execute you. Holy cow that’s a lot of demons! Additional Information Additionally, please note that people who have already completed the exam cannot enter in the final selection with you. If you want to do it as a squad or team, you need to have people who haven’t completed the exam yet. However if you can’t find a teammate or squad member, you can tell your friend if they have an alt account that hasn’t completed the final selection and they can use that account to play and help you complete the final selection. To summarise all of this up, demon slayer/hunters cannot help you complete the exam find a person who hasn’t done the exam or ask your friend (s) to use their alt account to help you. Tip: When you die to final selection demons, you wont lose any EXP or money thus making it a good grinding spot for non-slayers. This has no use if you’re a Slayer (Human), so don’t bother drinking it. If you want to try an alternative technique as a Demon, you would drink this so you can learn a new one! You can get Muzan Blood from the Black/Mysterious Merchant who appears in Hayakawa or Okuyia Village for 3,000 Yen. When you talk to him, he will have two options that you can buy: Weapon Parts and an Unknown Item. You want to buy the Unknown Item, but be prepared that you might get something other than the Muzan Blood. There’s a possibility of receiving either the Breath Indict, Combat Potion, Muzan Blood, or Wipe Potion. So, you might need to purchase it multiple times before you actually get what you want. If you get an item that you didn’t want, I recommend holding onto it! You can sell or trade them to other players, which could get you the actual item you were looking to obtain. If you want to get Muzan Blood faster, then you can go to the shop that’s found when you hit Tab and then clicking on the Shopping Cart. Water breathing comes with a normal cost, requiring 12 skill points to unlock all the moves(with the exception of Eleventh Form: Dead Calm). Obtaining the Breathing First Task: Pay Urokodaki 2,000 yen Second Task: Complete a hard parkour course going down a mountain with traps within 6 minutes. The double jump skill from the skill tree helps a lot. There are only 3 types of traps in this parkour course, a bear trap on the ground and in grass patches, a string that is usually between 2 trees or a place, and holes in which you can fall into. Third Task: Slash at a «Strong Boulder» until the Boulder is sliced and its hp is gone. This will take around 2 minutes consecutively. We’re ranked them based on the skill points they require, as well as their efficiency in combat. Those near the top are the best at defeating enemies. They also have higher requirements to unlock, however, so you’ll have to strike a balance between what works with your play style while keeping within your budget of skill points.

Which Is The Best Demonfall Breathing Style?

As per our tier list, the single best Breathing style in Demonfall is Sun Breathing. This ability is a close-range attack primarily unlocked towards the end of the game. Damage is the name of the game with Sun Breathing, as the range of power-up moves deal plenty of DPS. One particular highlight is the Beneficient Radiance move, which lands 56 damage on a 40-second countdown. Few other moves in Demonfall are quite this blistering, so Sun Breathing more than earns its place atop the Demonfal breathing tier list today.

What Are Demonfall Breathing Styles?

Demonfall breathing styles are equippable movesets. They’re mostly focused on the different elements, with breathing styles focusing on fire, water, and later Sun. Each breathing style has four or five exclusive moves that you can’t unlock elsewhere, so you’ll need to know a fair amount about all of them before deciding which to go for.

Using moves contained within each breathing style requires breath within the blue stamina bar. You can build that up by pressing ‘G’, then allowing you to unleash attacks all over again. With ten different breathing styles in the game, there’s enough for veteran players to sink their teeth into, finding a set of attacks that suits your approach best.

One thing worth noting is that you can only use one Demonfall breathing style at once. The limit is set at just one unique breathing style, so if you wish to try a different one you’ll have to manually unequip it and select the new one.

However, don’t let that deter you from getting more Demonfall breathing styles, because it’s useful to have a variety. That means you can change style based on the enemy at hand, so you’ve always got the advantage.

How Do I Get More Demonfall Breathing Styles?

As you may expect, it takes quite a lot of work to unlock new breathing styles in Demonfall. You have to talk to a range of NPCs, who each have individual quests for you to complete. Do all of those required tasks, and you’ll be granted a breathing style as a reward. Check the table below to see which NPCs align with which breathing style:

Demon fall demon art

Yen is the main currency used in Demonfall. Yen becomes limited after beating Final Selection and requires some work put in to get more. You get Yen by killing demons, selling trinkets, selling demon parts at the Slayer Corps HQ, doing quests, trading, and more in the future. You drop Yen by clicking the coin icon as seen in the picture. Another bar will appear where you type the amount of Yen that you want to drop, then click drop.

On the Bottom left of your screen, you will be able to see your yen(and also drop it).

Yen can be used for the following:

There is a little trick, where if you go to Kamakura Village, there will be a couple next to the soup store. If you talk to the man, he will give you 100 yen for free. This can only happen once, but it’s nice to know if you ever go there and want some extra yen.

WARNING: When player slayers/demons kill you, you lose 25% of your yen so be careful!

Slayer Missions

As a Slayer your Crow will bring you different missions to complete. After you finish these missions, you can earn Experience and Yen. You have varying time amounts to complete each mission depending on which one it is.

Rescue Mission

You will have to run to a Slayer NPC and pick him up using V, if you press B on accident and execute him you will fail the mission. After you pick him up you will have to run to an inn. There will be a higher demon with a random Blood Art guarding the Slayer NPC. After you complete this quest you will receive 100 Yen, and 350 xp (1750 xp since Update 3.25). You have 15 minutes to do this quest.

Delivery Mission

Hunting Mission

Lvl 14 and below:Hunt down 5 Demons within 15 minutes. Gives around 150 Experience (750 xp since Update 3.25).

Lvl 15+:Hunt down 12 Demons within 20 minutes. Gives around 400 Experience (2000 xp since Update 3.25).

Kill The Green Demon

Fight the Green Demon boss. If you defeat him he will drop a Green Horn, which can be used to craft the Crystal Key.

He drops around 200 xp but if you have the quest he will give you 500 xp (1500 xp since Update 3.25)

Save The Village

Demons will be spawned near a village and you will have to kill them all within 20 minutes. 4 demons will spawn and at least 2 of them will have Blood Arts. You can get this quest while the sun is out so when the demons spawn in they will all die and you will still get the rewards. Rewards Around 600 Yen and around 300 Experience (1500 xp since Update 3.25).
