Best Team List
This article primarily covers team compositions used in high-tier Kingdom Arena battles, or PvP (player versus player). For the purposes of PvE (player versus environment), any balanced combination of Epic Cookies and effective Rare Cookies will get a starting player through much of the start World Exploration’s Story Mode, although some Cookies will make it easier than others. See Cookies Tier List for a thorough list.
Most teams in general use Old Pilgrim’s Scroll (which gives ATK to all Cookies) and Squishy Jelly Watch (which reduces Cooldown for all Cookies) for their Treasures, with the third Treasure changing depending on the player’s strategy.

Teams
Arena Champions
A composition of extremes, resistent to everything else in the metagame yet very expensive to fully complete. Sea Fairy Cookie and Frost Queen Cookie’s Skills create a powerful combination of both damage and lockdown that hits everyone on the enemy team, while the duo of Cotton Cookie and Parfait Cookie provide the best resistances for surviving the current meta.
Because of how powerful the essential Cookies are, there’s little room for variation in this strategy beyond choosing between Hollyberry Cookie or Pumpkin Pie Cookie for the frontline.
A Balanced Comp
A balanced composition of the strongest Cookies in the game, this team relies on keeping the Legendary and other Middle Cookies protected until the first Cookie damage increase of the battle, which is often enough for these Middle Cookies to 1-shot enemies afterwards. Any number of pairs and strategies can be added to complement this composition.
Typical Cookie teams will gravitate towards this composition over time, but should find a good degree of freedom to add whichever other Cookies they wish.
Attack Speed [1]
Combining Madeleine Cookie, Lilac Cookie, and Mint Choco Cookie’s Skills with the ATK SPD boost provided by Librarian’s Enchanted Robes creates a barrage of team-piercing attacks that very few teams can survive. Notable for not requiring any Ancient or Legendary Cookies, although any may be added to complement the team.
While Lilac Cookie can work well as the second Cookie buffed by the Treasure, Pastry Cookie can be a more effective damage-dealer. Players are typically free to add any other Cookies to complete the team, whether to grant it survivability (Hollyberry, Strawberry Crepe, Pure Vanilla), increase the damage output (Almond, Mango, Twizzly Gummy), or both (Mala Sauce, Sparkling, Pomegranate).

GingerBrave’s Skill, beating all other Front Cookies in Cooldown, can knock an enemy’s Front Cookies back such that Tiger Lily Cookie’s Skill can stun the entire enemy team immediately afterwards. Almond Cookie will perform his Skill next, thus granting the Middle Cookies the perfect set-up to burst down the enemy team in one strike. Can defeat teams with far higher power levels, but may struggle to finish off enemy Cookies that either survive the combo or are revived by Sugar Swan’s Shining Feather. May not work against teams with Pumpkin Pie Cookie or GingerBrave, unless specific Topping upgrades are used.
The best Middle Cookies for this composition are those that can hit as many Cookies at once with as much damage as possible during the window of opportunity. Some compositions will drop Almond Cookie in favor of a more balanced composition with Pure Vanilla Cookie, using only GingerBrave and Tiger Lily Cookie to enable the rest of their Cookies to perform their Skills without interruption. Others will opt for Moon Rabbit Cookie instead of a second Middle Cookie, trading some combo damage for sustainability to defeat surviving Cookies.
This team is also known as the “Stun Team” or «Cheese Comp.«

Considered high-tier during the launch of the game, these teams can can still hold their own in clearing tough PvE levels.
With Dark Choco Cookie standing at the front line to tank heavy hits while dealing strong AoE damage, Vampire Cookie and Espresso Cookie are allowed a comfortable space to deal heavy damage without struggling to stay alive. Coupled with Herb Cookie’s high amount of healing and either a second Front Cookie (Strawberry Crepe Cookie, Hollyberry Cookie, Purple Yam Cookie, Mala Sauce Cookie) or a buff enabler (Parfait Cookie, Mango Cookie, Sparkling Cookie, Licorice Cookie), this team is able to take out enemies while taking as little damage as possible.
For the second team, Milk Cookie and Licorice Cookie bounce nicely off of one another, with Licorice providing a DEF boost for Milk, who needs high DEF and/or DMG Resist to tank as much damage as possible away from your damage dealers. Rye Cookie quickly takes down the weakest enemies first, and paired with a stronger DPS cookie (Sea Fairy Cookie, Vampire Cookie, Black Raisin Cookie, Sorbet Shark Cookie), your team will be dealing constant damage to quickly eliminate enemies. Pomegranate Cookie tops everything off, providing Healing over Time to keep everyone active while also offering a 20% ATK buff to the team to increase your overall damage and further speed things up.
Team Pairs
Crits
Combining Mala Sauce Cookie’s CRIT buff with the Grim-looking Scythe allows Twizzly Gummy Cookie to reach an ideal amount of CRIT without having to run full CRIT Toppings, making it possible to stack on ATK Toppings to maximize her damage output. This also boosts the damage of other hard-hitting Cookies on the team, giving a higher chance of taking out enemies in one shot, all while getting past Pure Vanilla Cookie’s shields.
Summons
The combination of Pumpkin Pie Cookie’s Pompon, Cotton Cookie’s ATK buff, and Seamstress’s Pin Cushion greatly boosts the DPS of all summoned units. This boosts the effectiveness of summoners like Snow Sugar Cookie and Licorice Cookie, although Pumpkin Pie and Cotton Cookie’s summoned units can often be enough on their own, to the point that ateam could even forego having any Front Cookies in the team.
Double Support Healing
No Pure Vanilla Cookie, no problem. Combining the heal-over-time of both Parfait Cookie and Cotton Cookie’s Skills more than makes up for the lack of a Healer Cookie, while also providing tankiness in the form of both a DEF buff and summoned units. May have a harder time defending against burst damage, but will keep the team constantly topped off in health while getting around the Zapped and Freeze debuffs currently in the meta.
Ryemond
Rye Cookie’s Skill, which targets the most vulnerable enemy target, tends to hit just as Almond Cookie’s damage link Skill lands on them, allowing a team to deal large amounts of damage to all enemies in a short amount of time. While much more reliant on maximized damage output than Gingerscam, this pair’s damage combo is far more difficult to interrupt, and easier to hide in other team compositions without compromising them. Lower-tier teams may also add Beet Cookie and/or Vampire Cookie to further focus down a vulnerable target, though the combination lacks long-term viability.
Darkvamp
Dark Choco Cookie and Vampire Cookie is one pair capable of taking down practically any Rear unit in one shot, especially in lower tiers where players are less likely to put DMG Resist toppings or upgrades on their Rear Cookies. Using Dark Choco Cookie’s DEF Debuff Skill with the Pilgrim’s Slingshot for further DEF loss is the perfect setup for utilizing Vampire Cookie and his Skill’s immense sniping capabilities. This pair can immediately take out opposing units that would otherwise make or break an Arena Battle like Pure Vanilla Cookie or even another Vampire Cookie. For an even more effective snipe setup, adding Pomegranate Cookie can help increase damage done by Vampire Cookie’s Skill with her own ATK Buff Skill. (Just watch out for Sugar Swan’s Shining Feather.)
In addition, this pairing works well in both PvP and PvE, being particularly effective against PvE Bosses with large health pools, like the Red Velvet Dragon and the Cake Witch.
