Appearance
Haruhiko is a teenager who is noted to be handsome by people around him with short, messy and somewhat thick dark green hair that has a single piece of hair pointing up, blue eyes and an average build and height.
He is usually seen with a normal Hosea Academy school uniform for boys.
Personality
Haruhiko is a very kind boy who has gained a vast amount of knowledge that allows him to answer just about any question thrown at him. He has a slightly robust exterior and is very knowledgeable about the phantoms and the things that changed over the decades. He is also calm and takes everything nicely, but sometimes his first meeting with others turn out to be awkward or embarrassing. [1] He is the «Information Source» for his team.
Haruhiko is very supportive and caring towards his friends. When they have problems, he will always try to help them. Throughout the series, he has become closer with the girls in his group. Despite his childhood, Haruhiko remained happy, but exactly because of his childhood, he doesn’t want anyone to suffer like he did. Due to Haruhiko’s kindness and supportiveness, many girls, especially the girls in his own group, have been hinted to be attracted to him.
Haruhiko also has a quite laid-back and care-free personality. He is also very intelligent and is seen talking and explaining various things at the start of the episodes. He is also quick to accept other peoples faults easily, despite their background or attitude towards him. [2]
Background
Haruhiko lived a lonely childhood, deprived of proper parental attention. Haruhiko’s mother had left home when he was a child, as his parents hadn’t gotten along. In the anime it is mentioned that she married another man. He claimed that ever since then, he has been waiting for his mother to come home.
Haruhiko’s father constantly travels around the world for work.
Haruhiko was woken up one day by Ruru, a phantom that has been his companion, reminding him that he was late. Afraid of getting hit by Mai, he rushes until he arrives at Hosea Academy. Mai is revealed to be fighting a phantom that has been interrupting the school’s gym class and wrecking the garden, as part of the task given to their team in the «Phantom-hunting club». Haruhiko takes out his sketchbook and starts to draw the phantom,as his ability is sealing a phantom whenever its complete appearance is drawn out. Having difficulty in sketching due to the phantom constantly moving, Mai makes it crash in the academy’s clock tower, preventing the phantom from moving temporarily. Haruhiko immediately takes the chance to complete the phantom’s sketch, sealing in his sketchbook. However, he and Mai didn’t receive any monetary reward for sealing the phantom because of the damage to the academy’s infrastructure. Both of them are disappointed, and Mai suggests that they need to add members to their team for possible improvements.
Going home from school that day, Haruhiko finds the way odd as he observed that he was in a cemetery, in which he comments that there is no cemetery on his way back home. Ruru notices phantoms, and calls out to Haruhiko to look. Haruhiko sees Reina and just as he was about to save her, he witnessed Reina eating the phantoms and he was impressed. He immediately invited Reina to be a part of his team and she declined. Haruhiko accidentally sees Reina’s underwear when he attempted to keep Reina from falling onto the ground after she tripped. She throws him in return. Haruhiko the other day persisted Reina to join him and after she declined again, he invited her to the school cafeteria as his treat. In the cafeteria he explained Reina the existence of Phantoms and told her that she will get paid in goods if she accomplishes a task. Haruhiko then intoduced her to Mai, in which Mai said that they are given another task again.
The three of them went to the site of their task. They saw Tsukumogamis dancing Limbo, causing radio disturbances in the area. After Mai failed to defeat them, Haruhiko devised a plan to dance with them since he learned that they want to be honored by humans. The plan succeeded, and on their way to report to Arisu back in the academy, they encountered Koito whom Mai and Haruhiko were not familiar with.
Regarding the events of the final chapter of volume 1. After all his friends and classmates alongside a large portion of the world’s population vanish due to Ruupa’s ability, Haruhiko goes to meet Arisu. There she informs him he is actually an artificial Ability User enginered by Alayashiki, codenamed ART. As his consciousness grows hazzy he realizes that even if his existence is artificial, all the bonds he built with his friend will never be an illusion. [3] He goes to meet Ruupa after awakening his full capabilities as ART. Their battle is of such an scale it results in the earth being erased. Although Haruhiko is able to recreate it after attaining victory, alongside all the people that disappeared as a result of Ruupa. This single event is what leads to the plot of volume 2.
Ability
Haruhiko’s ability is called The Book of Thoth and is art-based since he has art as his hobby. He has to draw the phantoms on his sketchbook to «seal» or «capture» them. But with his ability, he can also summon phantoms. Currently, his most recurring phantoms are Cthulu and Marchosias. The known phantoms that he sealed are Marchosias and potentially Chuthulu. Since he has the ability to summon phantoms, with the Abramelin finger (which is a rare gift of communication with the metaphysical), Haruhiko is able to copy another person skills, and he can also get into people’s minds and memories. The incantation for summoning phantoms:
«Oh, holiness. Oh, mortal. Blessings to the silent lord!
Open, Open. Open, gates of Hell!
Invoke, (name of phantom who is summoning)«
Haruhiko in his full capacity as ART has the power to control memory and language, which can be said to be the building blocks that make up the world, granting him a degree of control over reality itself. During his fight with Ruupa at the climax of the first volume he is able to call forth all the phantoms he encountered during his adventures simply by reviving the memory of them inside his mind. Further, he was also able to defeat Ruupa in hand to hand by reviving the memories of Mai and Reina. His enhanced brain’s capacity to store memory also grants him resistance to Ruupa’s ability to erase the memories making up the world. He can also bestow Parole abilities to other people. As he granted Reina the godly power of destruction which has the capacity to erase memory. At the climax of their battle, Ruupa, who had stolen this Parole ability from Reina, decided to use it as a last resort, causing the Earth itself to vanish in it’s entirety. By mustering the last of his power Haruhiko activates his ultimate Parole ability that revives the universe and defeats whatever is trying to destroy it. Thanks to this he was able to defeat Ruupa and recreate the earth that disappeared from space, alongside all the lives that were lost as a result of her rampage. [4]

В прошлом, в результате террористического акта, из одной из лабораторий вырвался особый вирус. Распространившись по земле, этот вирус наделил людей способностью видеть паранормальных существ ставших известными как «фантомы». Фантомы по большей части безобидны и мирно сосуществуют с людьми, но и среди них попадаются те, кто создает проблемы. Кроме того, вирус привел к рождению детей обладающих паранормальными силами позволяющими сражаться с фантомами. Часть подобных детей организует школьные группы, уничтожающие фантомов за вознаграждение.

Харухико Итидзё — главный персонаж, школьник, посвящающий всё своё свободное время книгам. Нарисовав портрет фантома, способен запечатать фантома внутри рисунка. Вместе с Май и Рэйной занимается охотой на фантомов. Сэйю: Хиро Симоно
Май Каваками — главная героиня, девушка, работающая в паре с Харухико. Владеет боевыми исскуствами, имеет склонность сначала делать и только потом думать. Сэйю: Сумирэ Уэсака
Рэйна Идзуми — девушка, присоединившаяся к команде Харухико и Май. Увлекается айкидо, любит поесть и обладает способностью пожирать фантомов. Сэйю: Саори Хаями

Appearance
Ruru is a small phantom who takes the appearance of a tanned girl with long, wavy, turquoise hair, tied into a hued light blue twist at the back of her head using a dark pink hair-tie. She has deep red-colored eyes.
When she took on a human appearance under the alias Ramune Natsuo, her hair became long and dark with two buns and small long braids tied at each end. Her dark hair has the same light blue hue at the end like her phantom form.
Personality
Ruru has a highly energetic and cheerful personality and is usually seen with a smile on her lips. She can also be somewhat childish and naive, but she isn’t shy at all and can come off as a blunt, as she sometimes says things that are flustering, which irritates Haruhiko. Ruru also holds pride over herself and often takes the leadership over Haruhiko when he is «slacking off», much to his annoyance. [1] Ruru seems to be quite popular with the girls in Hosea Academy, since she is often asked to eat lunch with others. Ruru is also a very friendly and straightforward phantom, calling other by their first name despite just meeting them.
When Haruhiko’s abilities were stolen by Enigma, she became more reserved and polite. She also became more timid towards embarrassing situations like the thought of kissing Haruhiko.
Background
Ruru defines herself as an «expert observer». Ruru said that she met Haruhiko when he was in middle school, and ever since, she has always been by his side.
It is later revealed that Ruru is «born» from Haruhiko. Arisu theorizes that Ruru is a manifestation of the freewheeling personality that Haruhiko subconsciously repressed so she is basically a part of Haruhiko, and Reina says it’s possible that she is more like a «twin» to him. [2]
Ruru is a small phantom with the appearance of a little human woman. She is always seen by Haruhiko’s side and lives with him. She constantly follows Haruhiko and his team while fighting the Phantoms.

Originally, Ruru appears to only have the ability to fly.
In Episode 13, it’s revealed that she has the abilities as Haruhiko, The Book of Thoth because of how she’s actually a part of him. While she hasn’t demonstrated this ability herself, she is able to transfer it to Haruhiko through a kiss.

Appearance
Rupa is a Phantom with a human appearance, she has long blonde hair and lilac eyes. She is wearing a purple dress with tail and purple high boots. From her back come 6 purple wings. Despite this, she can change her appearance at will, usually being seen with dark clothing and a black hat that resembles a gunslinger from the old west.
Personality
Rupa, although she is a maladjusted person, is affectionate, with her biggest dream being to be in a world where she is Haruhiko’s mother so that she can give him love.
Background
Rupa was created in Alayashiki by ART under the orders of Toko Kashima, being the incarnation of the love from his mother that he never received. After time, she would be sealed in the company until, during the events of Volume 1, she would be released by Toko.
Ability
Rupa has the ability to steal powers from ability users by kissing them, and when she does, she simply «drains» the power from the person. She can also use the powers as well.
However, she can also take over a humans body and mind. An example is Haruhiko’s mother. When she does this, she can exactly act as the person actually does and behave normally.
Думаю,не будет преувеличением сказать о том, что тайтл Мириады цветов фантомного мира посмотрело большинство почитателей манги и аниме, поскольку сюжет и персонажи весьма занимательные. Я бы не назвал их шаблонными, хотя могу заблуждаться. Просто каждый персонаж проявляет свой характер, каждому режиссер уделил время и место. Увы, как се хорошее, сюжет был потрачен а 14 серий и. все.
Наверное, многие надеятся на 2 сезон или полнометражку. Только Вы не ждите. Это Вам не Виксос,который был полностью экранизирован и больше. Проблема тут кроется в финальной 13 серии (14 серия всего лишь шаблонный выпуск на усладу фанатов и фапалистов), сюжет которой кардинально отличается от того, как он окончился в 1 тома ранобэ. Да, 1 том я не стал читать, посчитав, что экранизация не отходила от оригинала, но ошибся, поскольку начал читать 2 том и изумился тому, что прочел. Это уже не комедия или легкая фэнтези прогулка с элементами романтики и школьной жизни, а привкус драмы и постапокалипсиса.
Как говорится, ищущий да обрящет. Вот и мне удалось найти первые два тома, переведенные на испанский язык в сети. На шикимори в комментах печально пишут, что не смогли отыскать. Просто искать не умеют. Думают, достаточно просто вбить название и все. Извините,но настоящий поиск работает не так, а куда как иначе. Но не суть.

Так вот. Возвращаясь ко 2 тому. Если судить по сюжету, то либо Харукико каким-то чудом вернет свои силы, либо что-то сделает, что запечатает всех фантомов. А, возможно, изменит ход истории.Увы, сказать точно не могу, пока лишь начал читать. Да и 3 тома нет в переведенном виде.

Однако, описание 3 тома гласит, что мир стал другим. Фантомов нет как не было. Харукико не видать, а Май учится с двумя ранее неизвестными подругами. Через какое-то время, что-то происходит, и фантомы вновь являют себя миру. Пока непонятно, то ли Харукико впрямь их просто запечатал, но попал сам туда же, то ли переписал ход истории. В общем, пока непонятки и вопросы
Если судить по иллюстрациям,то вполне вероятно, что перс, смахивающий морфированного грифона, является альтер-эго Харукико, его темной стороной медали. Отсюда можно предположить, что в самом Харукико таится сила на уровне божественной, если не хуже. Либо же,это вариант Руру в злобной ипостаси. Но об этом можно судить лишь по появлению перевода.
