Minor Characters

Spooky Month, like many other series, has a plethora of minor characters, this page was made to document these characters without filling the wiki with stubs.
Minor characters are those that have little screen time and are mostly shrouded in mystery. They often star in single episodes (sometimes appearing as cameos) and have little, if not zero, impact on the story.

Minor Characters in It’s spooky month
The minor characters shown in the original It’s spooky month.
Demon Killer
The Demon Killer is shown wearing a demon costume while threatening Lila with a knife. He is stopped by Skid’s mention of Spooky Month and mutual love for it. He is only heard laughing.
Despite having no canon connection with the spooky kids, he knows the Spooky Dance.
Skid’s Grandma
Skid’s grandma appears as an undead, zombie-like corpse that, much like her grandson, loves Spooky Month. A picture showing her alive form appears in a later episode.
The Ghosts
The Two Ghosts are shown doing the Spooky Dance after the Spooky Kids shout their signature phrase next to the graveyard.
Like the Demon Killer, they know the Spooky Dance despite having no canonical connection to the Kids.

“ IT IS THE SPOOKY MONTH! ”
― Skid, The Spooky Month Series
Skid is the main protagonist of the Spooky Month series and a character both created and voiced by Sr Pelo following the Halloween thematic.
Since the first episode, we are able to see him with his skeleton Halloween costume already, although throughout the series, it is revealed how he looks without the costume.
Some of the people close to Skid with whom we have met so far are his mother and Pump, however it can be discovered with each of the adventures of him and Pump that they are making new friends such as Frank, Kevin, and The Eyes.
Although it has not been specified how long Skid and Pump have known each other, it can be inferred that they have been very close friends for a long time, as we always see them together causing mischief.

Appearance
Skid wears a white full head-covering mask that cartoonishly resembles a skull, thanks to 4 black lines on the mouth area resembling teeth.
He wears a black skeleton costume with white lines on it respectively resembling a skeletal system. It is unknown if the costume is a onesie, or if it is put on in the same manner as a shirt, pants and shoes.
Skid also wears gloves, which are usually seen as either white circles or black mittens with the same white skeleton-like lines on them. He is sometimes shown with an index finger, however.
Under his mask, Skid has white skin and short black or dark purple bob cut hair, as you can see in the pictures that are in his mother’s home.
He is slightly taller and skinnier than Pump, and his head appears to be a perfect circle shape. His eyes are tall and thin ovals with white pupils and black sclera when his mask is on.
He presumably keeps this eye shape when his mask is off, because in the background pictures, Skid’s eyes are simply vertical lines.
Personality
Like a stereotypical child, Skid is cheerful and optimistic. He loves Spooky Month to the point where he insists it lasts year-round instead of limiting it to just October.
However, despite and hence his immense gullibility and inability to tell right from wrong, Skid can be a bit skeptical about certain people if he notices something odd about them, motivation-wise, this being shown in The Stars, where he caught two thieves robbing his house and skeptically asked what their intentions were.
Skid is also shown to not be entirely brave, seen when he backs away from The Stranger showing genuine fear, calling the situation «scary» instead of «spooky».
But Skid has also been obliviously seen putting his closest ones in danger, specifically Pump twice, and Lila, his mom, once.
The first time in The Stars, Skid was able to see Pump clearly in Eyes of the Universe’s eyes, yet he did nothing about Pump’s hypnosis.
The second time in Unwanted Guest, he visibly and audibly argued with Pump, who claimed Lila was about to get murdered by a demon, who Skid did not recognize due to said demon being in the body of an exterminator.
Relationships
Skid and Lila, hence being a family, love each other unconditionally. Lila supports her son to the point where she cut her own hair to look like Skid’s, just to make him happy. She loves Pump just as much.
Skid and Pump are the best of friends, but no matter how rocky the road gets, they still remain very close to one another.
The Hatzgang
Skid might possibly dislike Roy, due to him beating Skid up and tricking him and Pump into nearly becoming victims of sexual assault.
Ross and Robert
Skid has not interacted much with Ross and Robert, but it could possibly be that Skid also dislikes them, due to them spitting in his and Pump’s eyes and stomping on their feet.
Moloch
Skid at first liked Moloch, but he went on to not recognize him when he was inside of Dexter’s body. It is unknown if Skid still likes Moloch or not.
The Uncle
Skid clearly hates and is scared of the Uncle, because he nearly sexually assaulted him and Pump.
Kevin
Skid likes and trusts Kevin, but not the other way around. It’s a one-sided relationship.
Candy Dealer
Skid likes and trusts the Candy Dealer.
Frank
Skid and Frank like each other, to the point where Frank made special ice creams shaped like Skid and Pump’s masked heads, just for them.
Strengths
Spreading Spooky Month cheer
Skid’s cheerfulness and love for Spooky Month spreads to almost everyone he meets.
Dancing
Skid can do the Spooky Dance.
Weaknesses
Gullibility
Skid is very gullible, and falls for every trick that’s pushed in front of him.
Unawareness
Skid appears to be unaware of situations where his family and closest friends are in danger. He did not recognize Moloch in Dexter’s body despite Pump being correct about it.
Low durability
Skid was heard whimpering in pain when the Hatzgang beat him up.
Lack of defensive abilities
Skid was unable to protect himself and Pump from the Hatzgang when they physically abused them.
Possible selfishness
Skid could possibly be egocentric, evidenced by his refusal to save Pump from Eyes, and him desperately attempting to force Pump into believing Lila is only being attacked by an exterminator excluding the demon inside of him. It could also be possible, however, that Skid was claiming his mom wasn’t in danger at all.
Limited dance move knowledge
Skid possibly only knows the Spooky Dance, or he knows others but cannot perform them as well.

Pump is a young boy who celebrates Spooky Month. He is the deuteragonist of the month’s epynomous web show, alongside Skid, his best friend and the protagonist.

Appearance
Pump wears an orange pumpkin mask that covers his entire head. The mask has a square bucktooth on the upper-left lip, and a light green stem on top.
He also wears a heavily simplified version of what could possibly be a tuxedo, that consists of white gloves, black pants, black shoes, and a black V-neck shirt which seems to have a white undershirt beneath it. It could be possible, however, that the white undershirt is actually Pump’s bare skin, and that the black shirt is too big for him.
Under his mask he has white skin and black curly hair similar to Pelo’s, but shorter. He is also short and chubby, slightly shorter than Skid in fact. His head is wider than Skid’s, and his eyes are more circular in comparison as well.
Personality
Pump is more cautious than Skid, but is also just as optimistic. Pump’s gullibility also matches Skid’s, yet his rare clever moments only seem to happen when his eyes turn cyan to warn others of upcoming danger.
Just like Skid, Pump also enjoys Spooky Month, but despite his young age, it is possible that he has a dark-humored side, evidenced by him suggesting that he and Skid ignite a Happy Fella doll into flames to «see if it screams», and when he indirectly tells Moloch to snap his neck and kill himself.
Relationships
Pump and Skid are best friends.
Pump and Lila are not biologically related, but Lila treats him like a member of the family nonetheless.
The Hatzgang
Pump could possibly dislike Roy, Ross and Robert for beating him and Skid up, but especially Roy for tricking the two of them into almost becoming victims of sexual assault.
The Uncle
Pump clearly hates the Uncle, evidenced by his «Oh no, it’s the Stranger!» line.
Eyes of the Universe
Pump and Eyes look like they get along, but the hypnosis from Eyes could possibly prevent Pump from revealing his true thoughts on the colossal being. When under Eyes’s hypnosis for the first time, Pump had a traumatized look on his face, although whether the cause of that is from the hypnosis itself or Pump struggling to break out of said hypnosis is unknown.
Strengths
High jumping
Pump can jump very high, almost exactly the height of a two-story house.
Falling durability
Pump can survive falling from his jumping height, even if he lands head-first. Although it might be because his mask is durable.
Awareness
Pump is able to know whether or not a monster is around.
Peak human carrying strength
In Friday Night Funkin, Pump can carry Skid on his back without any struggle.
Eye color-changing
Pump’s eyes change to cyan whenever he is in the presents of a living demon.
Dancing
Pump can do the Spooky Dance.
Weaknesses
Gullibility
Pump’s awareness ironically does not outshine his gullibility.
Unawareness
Pump does not seem to be able to tell right from wrong.
Low physical attack durability
Pump is incapable of defending himself and Skid from getting beaten up by the Hatzgang,

Pump was unable to shield himself from Eyes’s hypnosis.

It is possible the only dance Pump has talent in is the Spooky Dance, but maybe he knows other dances yet cannot perform them well.
