«Pleasant stay»

Located 10-15 minutes by foot from the central station the neighburhood wasn’t the most exciting. However the red Metro line is just nearby and it’ll quickly take you to the city center. My double room was clean and nicely sized. Just one tiny elevator is a bit unfortunate, I often used the stairs instead. Breakfast perfectly fine. The gentleman from southern Italy working the front desk in the morning was very nice and serviceminded.

«High price for a bad and low quality»

150 euros (without breakfast!) for a very tiny room stuck in the 80’s / 90’s with a single bed next to the wall…. Never seen that in years! Not even sockets in the room to charge 2 different things. I had to unplug the TV for that. The bathroom follows the same old fashioned style. Bad quality for bed linen and towels. Not at all compatible with the 4-star classification of a Best Western hotel. Deserves 1-2 star max. The pictures talk by themselves. Unbelievable.

«Perfect Location. Perfect Place.»

Hi Stayed here with family for a day. Staff are super friendly, esp Nana Ahmed at the kitchen. They had cloak room so saved ££ on luggage storage. Location is just few mins away from many station where we can get Metro for local travel. Breakfast is really good with wide range of options. I would definitely recommend this place.

«Central and great service»

I have stayed here 2 times in 2022, great service, good breakfast and clean rooms. The hotel is quiet but you are in a central area of town, near the metro. By metro, you are in no time at Duomo or Porta Garibaldi.

«Recently renovated»

The hotel was recently renovated and located in a busy shopping street. It is a 1-minute walk from Lima metro station. Handy if you take a train from Malpensa airport to Cadorna station and change to the metro there. Seven stops to Lima station. The hotel is well priced, considering the comfortable rooms that they offer. They have, by the way, an excellent breakfast buffet for only 5 euros. Great base for a few days in Milan.

«Clean and tidy «

Recently stayed with my partner and really enjoyed it. We’d made a mistake with the booking (one large single room rather than a double) but the hotel were more than happy to accommodate, even sending up room service to ensure everything was doubled up on before we got there. View was great and the terrace on the 8th floor is well worth a visit. Room service food was good quality and arrived in 15 minutes. You couldn’t wish for more!

There is a Metro station right outside the building. Also walkable from/to Central Station if you want. The rooms are clean. Excellent customer service. Good breakfast for the price. Altogether a great choice!

«Lovely Hotel in a fab position.»

We booked this Hotel because of its proximity to Milan Train Station, and we were not disappointed with its location, it was also close to the Center and the Duomo, and also just outside the Hotel, there were a few restaurants/bars, where we had a couple of meals and cocktails, also the bus stop for the Hop On Hop Off bus was just across the road from the Hotel, we used the bus for a couple of days, as we found it to be very puntual and very frequent, we found it to be great for sight seeing. Our room was clean with a safe, fridge and a large TV, the bathroom was of a good size. We requested Gluten free breakfast and they were very pleased to oblige, there was a good selection of cheeses, Parma Ham, Mortadela and Salamy, also plenty of fresh fruits, yogurts, tea and coffee. I would recommend this Hotel, and I will defenetely will be staying there again.

Good location at Corso Buenos Aires, ideal to do some shopping. But also possible to go by feet to the center and the Duomo. My room was just perfect, a good bed, mini bar, television, possibility to make coffee or tea, nice bathroom. The breakfast in the morning is OK with a good variety of products. I surely will go back when I returns to Milano.

«A city break»

We have enjoyed a 4 night stay at this hotel in order to attend a wedding and to do some sight seeing. We have been exceptionally pleased with many aspects of the hotel. It’s location is very convenient. The Lima metro station is just metres from the hotel door. The M1 Metro line connects directly with a number of metro stations next to popular tourist spots e.g. the Museum of Modern Art (w the Duomo and associated features and the impressive Castello. One change on the metro from the M1 on to the M2 takes you directly to the canal area with its many bars, restaurants and market stalls. Metro fares are very reasonable, for all the main areas a 2€ standard ticket lasts for 90 minutes (in zone 1 to 3) and for 7€ a day ticket can be used anywhere in zone 3 any number of times all day. The hotel is close to the central station. A 20 minute walk in a straight line from the station or a five minute taxi (about 8 €) There are also some very nice shops within short walking distance from the hotel. The hotel itself is sparkling clean and our room in the fourth floor was excellent, beautifully furnished and appointed and cleaned scrupulously every morning. Breakfast was good, the usual fruit, yogurt, cheeses, ham, rolls pastries etc etc. There are a number of restaurants and pizzerias nearby for an evening meal including the characterful Piccolo Ischia Pizzeria. Reception staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and well informed. For a weekend break in Milan you can’t do better.

«Good location»

Check in time was not 2pm as advertised. I arrived at 1:55pm to be told to come back in 20mins. I came back 35 mins later and I still had to sit and wait for a few mins. The room was big enough but the bathroom space was tight especially with the position of the toilet. The decor in the room was an ugly brown colour of flooring and furniture. Very few plug sockets took my adaptor. The one at the door was used most of the time to charge my phone and the only other was the one the tv was plugged into. The bed was EXTREMELY hard as were the pillows. I prefer a softer mattress so sleeping was difficult over the 3 nights I was here. Noise from the street could be heard, especially sirens. Walls are thin. I could here next door’s taps running and their shower. The room had an unpleasant smell at times. It may have been the air freshener the staff used. The lift was really small. It says it can accommodate only 3 people. However, I would argue that 2 people would be max. Very little space in the fridge as it was filled with the minibar items. Only the news channels were english-speaking. Staff on the reception desk were pleasant and polite. Lima metro station is located only a few meters away. There is a good, strong and consistent WiFi connection. Tea/ coffee facilities were a nice addition to have. I think you would be able to get a more comfortable hotel at the same price. I wouldn’t stay here again.

«Great location and excellent staff»

Except for the fact we arrived in a heat wave which put undue pressure on the AC we cannot fault this hotel. Staff. Food. Value. Location all great. Only suggestion is they should offer beer in the bar.

«Nice hotel in a great location»

We stayed at this hotel a total of 5 nights and were very happy with the accommodation, service, breakfast etc. The staff was very helpful whether it was holding our bags, getting us a taxi or finding us a restaurant at the last minute. The location is excellent. walking distance to just about any of the local sites. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside I might say is that because you are on a main street, it can be very noisy at night. but coming from NYC, it really didn’t bother me.

«Very good overnight stay»

I chose this hotel for a quick overnight stay between a flight and a train. It is a 10 mins walk from Milano Centrale so very convenient if you arrive late. The room is indeed dated but comfortable enough and very clean! I was surprised I even had a balcony and a kettle with coffee and tea facilities. The breakfast was super great, also the staff was very kind. I would recommend to anyone this hotel who doesn’t care about the big fuss of the Ritz style hotels 🙂

«Stop over»

We were pleasantly surprised when we checked into this hotel for the night before our flight home to Australia. The staff behind reception could not do enough for us especially Alberto who carried our heavy cases up the 8 stairs to the elevator and down again in the morning. Our room was large king bed and heaps of room to put our cases probably the largest room we have experienced over the last three weeks. The air con worked well. Another lovely surprise was tea and coffee facility in our room and bottled water. Down at reception there is a coffee machine you can use any time free of charge and a bowl of fruit a nice touch. We were given a welcome drink voucher to use which we did but did not expect all the lovely nibbles to go with it. The choice of red, white or proseco was offered. Breakfast was more than adequate. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at this hotel, it is in a good area for shopping and only a ten minute walk to Milan Centrale.

«we were attacked 3 times by criminals. «

we had booked a room at this hotel last Saturday and Sunday. When we arrived our band in front of the hotel was stabbed and we were attacked 3 times by criminals. Even while changing the tire. We then decided to leave Milan immediately. The hotel manager know refuses to refund our money. So for us this hotel gets a 0

«Amazing Service»

We had four nights in this hotel. The check in staff and reception staff could not do enough for you. On arrival given complementary voucher for drink at bar which was appreciated. Breakfast was only 4 Euro the best and cheapest in Europe. Room was spacious and extremly clean. Location is walking distance to metro trains and in the centre of main shopping district for all famous brands. Only negative is street noise, windows need doub;e glaze.

«Amazing service»

Our stay at Best western was short but perfect. The hotel was so easy to find as it is well situated, next to a station and 4 stops from Duomo. We were a group of three, we accidentally booked the wrong offer but when we got to the reception they were able to accommodate us. The room was big, very airy and clean. The bathroom was spotless and had enough towels and toiletries. The internet connection was really fast. The staff at the reception were really lovely and polite. Only downside it got really cold at night and we weren’t able to adjust the heating in the room as this gets switched off at night but they were able to provide us with additional clean blankets. The breakfast was amazing had some great options and the staff in the restaurant were lovely too. We over slept so we checked out 30mins late but they were patient with us. Our over all experience was amazing.

Hotel is near Lima metrostation so quick connection to centre. Hotel isn’t to big but has everything you need; free WiFi, good and cheap (4euro) breakfastbuffet with decent choices, nice little roofterrace for a sunsetview and a tiny gym with one machine and indoor and outdoorshower! Stayed in a 1 personroom. Size was ok, efficiënt lay-out so enough room for my stuff. Room comes with fridge/minibar and tea/ coffee facilities. Tv-channels in several languages. Bathroom also oke with toiletries, bidet, and bathtub/shower. Free bottle of water is included on arrival. Several, mostly italian, restaurants around. Located 15minute walk from central station. Would definatly consider it again on a return trip.

«In the middle of buens aires street»

This was a small hotel bet in a perfect location. Next to lima metro station that is less than 1 minute walking. The rooms are not big but verry modern and clean. The staff was helpful in what we needed. Breakfast was ok not more than that. Not a lot of variety, but reasonable. If you are in a short stay in milano this is a good place to be.

«A gem in Milano!»

Perfect location, spotless renovated room (comfy bed) on the 7th floor (balcony) with a brand new bathroom featuring a huge mirror in the rainfall shower. The breakfast offers a great choice of classic items (scrambled eggs, sausages, a nice selection of cheese and cold meats, pastries, croissants, yogurts, fruits etc.) as well as pizza, pie, veggies, olives and pancakes! For 3€, this breakfast is just incredible. You choose this hotel for its location but you will go back for the people. Eliana was extremely kind and compassionate during my stay (I was in Milano in sad circumstances). She also provided me with useful info anytime I needed it. Massimo I briefly saw before I left was very nice as well. Actually, anyone I met there during my stay was nice and courteous. I will definitely choose the Best Western City for my future trips to Milano and I have already recommended it to my friends.

«Fantastic Location and Exceptional Service»

This hotel is located on a major shopping street in Milan. It is surrounded by stores, restaurants and cafes, and only one short block from a subway station. Room was clean and comfortable with excellent beds having a walk-in shower (bonus..no water on floor). Staff are helpful and all are friendly. Breakfast is very inexpensive (3€), has a variety of hot and cold foods and is not to be missed. While there isn’t a restaurant, there is room service in the early evening that is very affordable with tasty selections. While the street is noisy, our room had double glazed windows and a shutter that you could close. Suggest reserving room with a balcony to observe the street scene. Tip: Get to know the subway system to reach city attractions. Cost is 1.5€ a trip and saves hours of walking. Actually simply to use.

I stay here most years as part of a Monza F1 weekend. Its in a good location on 10mins walk from Milan Central. It’s basic, but it does the job. Ok breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Will be back again.

«Decent place, tiny elevator, mediocre breakfast.»

Pretty standard hotel. Clean comfortable room. Good WiFi. Location is good but some of the streets nearby are a bit shady. Especially on the walk from the station to the hotel. We opted into breakfast cause it was only 3€ per person per day. But it was mediocre at best. I ate a lot off the fresh cheese plate. Cakes were good but the hot food was lacking. We were there at 9:15 and they were out if scrambled eggs and never made more. I had a hard boiled I stead. Bacon was almost gone to so I didn’t take any cause it was very greasy leftover pieces. I was excited they had pancakes but noticed the syrup was out. When I asked for a new one they said they were out. I ended up tossing the pancakes. Bummer. Breakfast of this caliber should be included. Coffee was good.

На нашем ресурсе каждый человек, побывавший в том или ином отеле, может оставить о нем свой отзыв, оценить размещение, уровень сервиса и питания в отеле, дополнительно аргументировав свои оценки в отзыве, таким образом формируя рейтинг TOP Hotels.
3.3.Кроме общей информации об отелях, пользователи могут найти на www.tophotels.ru ряд дополнительных материалов и сервисов, которые могут пригодиться при выборе места проведения отдыха. К ним относится информация о специальных акциях, новости отелей и прочая сопутствующая информация.
3.4.www.tophotels.ru, равно как и правообладатель данного ресурса не является туристическим агентством и не продает туристические услуги.

4.Интеллектуальная собственность. Ограничения использования ресурса

Общие ограничения, вне зависимости от вида Пользователя
4.1.Все материалы на ресурсе www.tophotels.ru, включая, без ограничений, любую документацию, текст, наполнение, данные, графические изображения, интерфейсы или другие материалы, на которые распространяется действие закона об авторских правах, охраняются федеральным и международным законодательством. «Great for a few days»

We were a little worried about previous reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and clean. It was a little tired but for a few days it was great. The hotel was a little walk away. Once we had worked out the route it wasn’t too bad. At times it is a little rough around the edges but looks like there is a lot of redevelopment in the area.

«Very mixed experience but overall poor»

Stayed for three nights at this hotel on a mini leisure break with my wife. The good news is that the staff were friendly, the breakfast was just about adequate and the gangs of youth referred to in other reviews in a neighbouring underpass are no more. The bad news however is that the gangs have been replaced by huge building works around the hotel which start at about 6:00am and create a massive amount of noise and dust. The lift was broken for almost the entire 3 days we were there which necessitated a long climb up a narrow & hot stairwell to the 6th floor. The staff offered to put us in another room but with promises that the lift would always be fixed «tomorrow» we unwisely decided to stay in the same room. I would also say the rooms are nothing like as good as the pictures on the website and have only been partly refurbished, the hairdryer also broke after the first day. In summary I would say best avoided unless you can get a room rate of of £50 or below, we went as part of a package, £660 for three nights, including train fares, and quite frankly it wasn’t worth it!

Although the building looks a bit older, the interior of this hotel is nice, rooms are spacious and clean, only negative was that the double bed consisted of two separate beds between which a gap formed. Breakfast was tasty, with a good selection of dishes. It is close to a bus station and large metro intersection, walking distance to the city centre is 12 minutes, so the location is great. The neighbourhood was quiet, there are only business buildings around it. Overall good value for money.

Although rooms are spacious and well decorated, premises are still basic (e.g. no mini fridge in the room). Staff is neither friendly nor helpful and malkes you feel unconfortable when you ask for something. The worst thing is probably the neighbourhood: although very near to Brussel Noord train station and this might seem like an advantage. please bear in mind that it’s a really shady area in which you don’t want to find yourself at night.

«Nice hotel for weekend break»

After reading the reviews here I was worried about my visit to Brussels after booking this hotel. However, I didn’t experience any of the problems some of the other reviews talk about. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. The shower in particular was very powerful. The hotel was about a 15 minute walk from the Grand Palace, you do go under an underpass but we experienced no problems at all and didn’t see or hear of any trouble. We could hear sirens at night but the hotel is near a police station and it didn’t disturb our sleep. We had breakfast in the mornings which was fine and had a good range of food. Overall, we had a good time in Brussels and a nice stay and would stay here again.

I stayed here with my partner, it is in a ruough area, brussels red light district just a street away, if you stay here be careful. The staff were friendly, the room looked nice but wasnt particularly clean for examples hairs in the bed and bathroom, grubby marks everywhere, broken bins etc all little things but very easily fixed so question is why isnt this being done. It was an ok hotel but we wouldnt stay again.

«Booked hotel, didn’t stay there as just around corner from red light district»

Booked this hotel on the Eurostar website for a sort break. After arriving at the Gard du Nord my wife and I exited the station to be greeted by the red light district, a very grotty, dirty area. There were groups of men hanging around on street corners, I saw two men urinating in public on the short walk from the station to hotel. My wife and I both felt very unsafe in the area and this was at midday, I would not risk walking around after dark. The break was booked through eurostar with obviously no mention of location on it’s website. This is by no means a review of the hotel as my wife wouldn’t came back to the area after going into central brussels, and had to book another hotel.

«Reasonable hotel not far from Brussels Centraal»

Marisa booked us a nice break away via a package with Eurostar. We had 4 nights at the BW. After reading some reviews about location, we were a little concerned about the location. I think a lot of it is scare mongering, we didn’t see any drug addicts, prostitutes etc as some reviews comment. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Rogier metro, you do have to go under an underpass that is smelly but it’s well lit and next to the Hilton. The other route under a longer underpass is alongside the botanical gardens, you can walk a longer route around the top of the underpass that is better lit. The staff on reception were pleasant and helpful. The room was large with with a large comfy double bed. Tv, coffee facilities and decent sized clean bathroom. One thing was the lights in the bathroom wouldn’t come on when we got back at night, but we sussed out that there was a master switch. To get to Brussels central train station takes 15 minutes walk, you can get connections to the major cities such as Ghent and Antwerp, costs around 30 euros return for 2. We had a drink at the bar but didn’t have breakfast so I can’t offer my expert hotel opinion of the food, what i can say is the food area looked decent enough for a basic breakfast. If I came to Brussels again, I’d probably stay here again as it’s decent enough.

«Pleasant stuff»

In Best Western City Centre you will find pleasant stuff, good and clean rooms. Bar is also nice, and area for breakfast is organised really nice. Food choice is ok, everything is fresh and that was important for me.

My friends, this is an excellent hotel just renovated in an excellent location! The breakfast is delicious as well you should include it in your rate. But the best thing about the hotel, is Jordi. He’s in the front desk, and he can not be more amazing! Such a comic and diligent guy. You will be lucky if he will be there during your check-in.

«Bad customer service «

The experience was ok, breakfast not the best, but had many options. The room is comfortable. On our second night the bathroom had no energy. It took some hours to come back. On our last morning, we woke up 9 am with the housekeepers coming inside the room, which was really uncomfortable and if the hotel knew we were checking out and the checking out time is still 11 am, why there were housekeepers going inside my room at 9am? To finish the experience we had a bus booked to Paris during the night, we had some problems with it and were booked to 2am. We asked politely if it would be ok for us to wait at the reception till at least midnight or so, since was pretty cold outside and the location on the hotel and the station is pretty dangerous during the night. It was still 8pm. The receptionist was really rude, laughed on our face and said no, you can’t, it’s too long to stay here, and simple left us talking by ourselves.

The hotel is not too bad, staff are very friendly and helpful, however the room walls were dirty, in need of a coat of painting. The carpet also had stains so it didn’t look very nice.its a shame because it’s a good hotel.

Nice size room for three, plenty of space, clean and tidy with ensuite that has bath and shower. Reception were very helpful. Plenty of parking outside the hotel which you have to pay for between the hours of 9am and 6pm. Worked out about 15 euro a day. Hotel was walking distance from the town and grand place. Would highly recommend for location and would definitely stay here again xx

«Zero customer service»

Worst experience ever in a hotel. I checked in in the afternoon of 8/14. Front desk agent was not really friendly but it was fine to me. I got in to the room and noticed that the a/c was not working, went down to the desk and informed the agent. He said he had no one to fix it right a way and he might have someone the next day, I was staying for one night only. I asked him for a room change and he said they were fully booked. He offered a fan and I told him that the only reason I picked this hotel was because of the a/c. He said either take the fan or open the window and if I don’t like the options he was giving me I could leave. His exact words were » I am giving you options and if you don’t like them you can go somewhere else». I just could not believe his words. NO customer service at all. Will not recommend just for that reason, even though the besides the a/c hotel was fine. The area did not seem safe and I did not want be in the hunting for another hotel.

The room was very clean and had enough space. The cleaning service was very good: daily cleaning the room and changing the towels and bath items (shampoo, shower gell etc.). Lots of noises coming from other rooms (thin walls). Breakfast is a rip’off at 17 euros per person The window did not close properly and there was noise coming in from the outside, plus wind howl during windy nights. Located close to a train station, but in a really bad neighbourhood.

I was really disappointed with this hotel, the reviews and website do not clearly represent the experience we had, the hotel is located in a dangerous part, to get through to the city, you have to walk through an underpass that is filled with graffitti, gangs and smells like a bathroom. I stayed last week with my family and we had to rely on Taxis to get in and out of the hotel just to be safe, we had a really close incident near the underpass. The accomodations were terrible, the rooms smelled, the bathroom kept leaking water onto the carpet and the staff were really rude. Would not recommend staying at this hotel, the advertisement is misleading and the location is dangerous.

worst reception service I’ve ever had. Air conditioning does not work. rooms have no sockets at the head of the beds. It is clean, central, near the metro station. easy access. they must greatly improve the way they receive and welcome their customers.

The room is comfortable and the customer service is great. However, the bathroom is uncomfortable. It is difficult and dangerous to enter the bathtub and there was water leakage whenever we used the shower. The value is good and the location is great!

«Hole in towel! Not a good location to stay especially if you have to stay out late.»

Very poor quality amenities. First time I have stayed in a hotel where the towels are so used up because there are holes in them. I suggest they need to train their staff on how to give better and clear directions. Travelers should take a taxi back to this place if they were to stay out late. It is walking distance from the city center but NOT a good place (safety) to walk back to this hotel late at night. I also wish the front desk people be more friendly.

Very nice location. 15 mins walking to the city center. Around the hotel is amazing park. So beautiful. Room is very small, but clean and have all the amenities. There is cattle, tea and coffee in the room. For the few nights is perfect hotel. The only minus, is that there is stairs in the entrance. With a heavy luggage is so hard to go up.

«Not Worth It. «

This hotel is located directly next to the train station Brussels-Nord, however it’s a 30 minute walk to the downtown center square area. My check-in was a nightmare experience for me, traveling ALONE to Europe for the very first time. All my travel and lodging was pre-paid and arranged through Delta Vacations and Holiday-Plan-It. My agent was AMAZING but when I arrived at this hotel, the front desk staff was short with me and said they couldn’t hold my reservation. They said even though it was booked in January 2019, they could only hold it until 1pm on the day I arrived in May. I arrived at 3pm to check-in. All info for the hotel said 3pm check-in. So they claimed to be BOOKED FULL for the next three days. I contacted my travel agent and after a few phone calls, which I could overhear in the back office, Delta Vacations contacted the hotel directly. After some yelling in French, the manager returned to me and said they figured it all out and it wasn’t their fault but then had a room for me, for my full three day reservation. I’m not sure what game was being attempted but it scared me and the short rude behavior of the female front desk clerk and front desk manager was alarming and unprofessional in the service industry. I wasn’t sure if I was being treated poorly because I am an American or what. But I was so upset, tears of frustration were shed in my room later once alone. The room was clean but the pillows smelled like other people’s heads. The shower has a weird layout making it difficult to use. Not much hanging area for towels and/or washcloths. Based on my experience with staff at the front desk, I am buying my own supplies at nearby markets solely to avoid contacting the front desk for any of my needs. When you pay for accommodations, you should be treated appropriately and those accommodations should be honored equally. I’ll never recommend this hotel to anyone.

«Worst hotel / area ever DO NOT STAY HERE»

«Got upgrade, but air con broke. Staff couldn’t do anything.»

The hotel and room was quite old, but the lobby was fine. Got free upgrade as I am the Gold member of the Best western Rewards; however the air conditioners system were all broke and the reception who was the only one available at the hotel at the time could do nothing to fix, as the technician was not available at the hotel and no other rooms were available that night. It was such a disappointment. Also the carpet around the bathroom area was quite wet, which likely caused by the clog water in the shower area. The lightning inside the bathroom is also very dim. However, the beds are quite cozy and acceptable clean. My experiene would be better if air conditioning works and staff could do something to fix the problem, which sadly did not happen. Also, just be a bit aware of the area at night, as the street nearby is the red light area.

The room was confortable and clean in a good location. The shower however was impossible to use since the water varied between too hot and too cold without way to control it. The water in the bathtub was ok, but in the shower head was impossible to control. This was probably due to the use of an economy shower head. I complained in the reception desk. but in the second day was exactly the same.

Stayed at the Best Western City Centre in Brussels for a few nights on a recent trip. The hotel room was clean, spacious and was in general very lovely to stay in. Although we didn’t really spend much time in the hotel apart from sleeping in the hotel, everyone found the hotel to be very comfortable and nice. The beds were very comfy, the shower and bathroom was clean and decent, and in general the room was very nice and good to go back to after busy days. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Brussels; the hotel was close by to the subway, and in general was a lovely hotel and we all had a great stay.

Hotel is located within the waking limits of city shops and restaurants. Staff is friendly and service is good. You have an optional breakfast in the morning for a little fee. I thought its better to go out and have a proper breakfast as there are more places to eat within 10-15mins walk. In the nighttime, streets near the hotel becomes bit empty but its not a major issue. I highly recommend this hotel, if you are looking for a budget accommodation in the central.

I came home from brussels and i have to say it was the worst holiday i ever experienced. The hotel we stayed in best western was absolutely disgusting. The staff were lovely but the room itself was appalling. Ill add photos to show my experience. The carpet from the lift to the room was dated granted it get walked on daily but there is no need to let it get that bad. We walked into the room looked ok basic but when we looked down at the carpet we couldn’t believe our eyes. I was afraid to walk in my bare feet. Stains everywhere. The counter top under the tv was all stained like tea was splashed on it or somethin even the walls in the toilet were the same. The brown pillow in one the pictures smelled so bad i doubt it has been changed in months. I slept with no pillows as it was dreadful. The bathroom shower head i doubt has ever been cleaned the scum on it was shocking along with the mould on the bath surround. The window didnt close properly and we had a draft. Also in the pictures see the mould and dirt on the windows. The location was definitely not central. It was beside the train station which was handy if you were to use it. We had a 20/25 minute walk to the main centre were the Christmas markets were. The location of the hotel was definitely not inviting at night so we made sure to get a taxi back as it was definitely not safe to walk back. As for our last day if 2 we tried to relax and have a lie on 10am a knock on the door the cleaning staff we said no thanks. We had the do not disturb sign on the door from the evening before. 10.30 she knocked again same thing my boyfriend went to the door. 11am i was walkin into the shower and THE CLEANING LADY WALKED STRAIGHT INTO OUR ROOM.NO KNOCK NOTHING. Check out was 12 noon. I have to say im highly annoyed as it was suppose to b a break away for myself and boyfriend which turned into an awful experience.

«Poor hotel in Brussels»

Noisy location in the middle of the Brussels red district, however close to Gare de Nord. We were a group occupying several rooms, so feedback covers more experiences: heating did not work in some rooms, even after asking for attendance from the receptionist; bathrooms are very old and damaged, windows barely closing, rusty heaters which are not functional; dirty sheets upon check-in from our group, poor housecleaning services, failing to refill amenities; breakfast served in an incredible tiny space for the capacity of the hotel and attended by unfriendly staff. However, I must say that after announcing on the first morning at the reception that we had problems with the breakfast service (no refills of food, refusing guests from serving breakfast, etc), things improved the next morning. Yet the girl still showed obvious unfriendliness, which left a bitter impression.

«Great hotel «

I’ve spent 3 nights there while visiting Brussels. It was pretty cheap and for the price, it was an excellent deal. Very close to the train station, about 15-20 minutes away from the city centre, I couldn’t have found a better location. The room was spacious and clean, had the option to heat water for tea or coffee. The only downside was the lack of a mini fridge. I recommended it if you are looking for an affordable hotel with a great location.

It was a nice experience to stay at Best Western City Centre at Brussels. It is very close to city centre, about 10-15 minutes by walking and close to metro station. There is a park just in front of the hotel.

The hotel is well kept, the maids are very efficient and the rooms are very clean. The front staff could be more otherwise is ok. Breakfast is nothing special and the waitress should be more friendly. The rack price is very high however through agency is worth the money. I should recomment it for business trip hotel

«Very convenient location»

Located about three blocks from the train that takes you to and from the airport and an easy walk to almost every site you will want to see in Brussels, this was a great location. Front desk staff were very helpful. Our room was spacious, very clean and well lit. We had a small kitchenette and two bathrooms. Comfy bed and pillows. We were on the first floor and facing the street. In the morning we would hear traffic and people talking, but not during the night. Breakfast was lovely. There were assorted meats and cheeses, fresh made scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage plus delicious breads and pastries. Also cereals, yogurt and other items I’m forgetting. A great way to start your day!

«Excellent boutique hotel»

I stayed here one night before heading for a conference in Antwerp. The hotel is well located just 2 blocks from the Brussels Nord train station and across the street from the Botanic Garden, so a very quiet and pastoral setting. Rooms are modern with many amenities. The staff was very helpful, including helping me with an early checkin because my plane arrived early morning. Room was very quiet with only white noise from the nearby train station.

I have been staying in this hotel rather regularly. The property is in constant improvement and the newly renovated rooms are stylish and functional. The area around the hotel is not necessarily the best in Brussels, but I never had any problem. There are many authentic Turkish restaurants in the area of Botanical garden, which is next to the hotel.

Nice Hotel. Clean and modern. Not the best part of Brussels but close to City centre and North train station. Also has a massive police station beside it so safe enough. Botanical Park, central for main tram and metro routes. Usually runs in around 120 euros for two nights midweek.

The location of the hotel is good, near by the botanist park and accessible from some metro and bus stations. The room was clean, well furnished and the TV list was rich of international channels to choose in English as well. The girl at the reception desk at my arrival as well as the gentleman at my departure were very helpful. During my staying the breakfast area was being renovated and i really liked the final result. I would really appreciate a pair of flip flops 🙂 in the room.

Location is suitably close to the main shopping and tourist areas with easy access to the local transport. The rooms were tired and in need of maintenance with renovation work underway during our stay. A man on the front desk was very rude and made a mistake with our booking when checking in and proceeded to charge us for his mistake on checking out. Felt like we had been scammed out of 25 euros. Will not be staying here again

«Good but could be better!»

This hotel is in a more business area than tourist but very convenient if your arrive via the Gare Du Noord. Hotel is going through a refurb downstairs and hopefully that’ll make it’s way into the rooms as they were looking a little tired and dated. Wifi was intermittent on the 5th floor too.

The room is not cleaned. The furniture is old. There are hairs of people in the bed. The walls are not white anymore. The room is big but faces the street and this is noisy. The position might be good but the rest is really not good.

«Good mid range option»

This is a decent hotel on the edge of the centre and within walking distance to transport and the main attractions. It’s clean and quiet and the staff are nice. I had a single room which as very functional and included a jug. The shower was over a deep bath and I felt a little unstable getting in and out, but made it ok. The wifi signal is good.

Not the greatest if you expect at least some small luxuries. Very run down standard of quality for a hotel stopover. Carpets are in dirty condition. Kingsize bed is soft and acceptable. Room size is fairly limited. Bathroom also very compact. Rated 3 star but only 1 star by South African standard. Good enough for a cheap 2 night sleepover. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Well positioned in the Central City for walking. Taxi readily available when called. Breakfast is adequate and comparable with basic Continental type standards.

Room had hair in the sheets, mold in bath corners. Worst was the front desk receptionist who laughed off the complaints and finished with ‘Is that all?’ He also promised to compensate us with a nice gesture, but did not go through with anything. Did manage to keep our luggage after we checked out.

I disagree with the negative ratings and comments. Given the prices in Brussels, this is a great choice if you get a good price on this (I got one through booking for less than eur 60 and even got breakfast). It is great value: yes, the corridors are still a bit run down, but everything else is perfect. Nicely redone rooms with nice modern design; high quality and crisp clean bedding, huge bed with good mattras. Coffee maker and supplies available, bathtub, stylish bathroom. So better equipped than most *** hotels. I also had a very nice view from my room to a small park. 7 minutes walk to Gare du Noord; 3 min to Rogier, next to Botanique park. All in all, I would surely stay here again, great location, nice interior, good service.

It is not an expensive hotel so I think that the quality was good for the price. The room and bathroom was clean and that is the most important. The hotel was being remodelated so the main areas were in remodeling, which causes more dust. The breakfast could be a little better (more diversity).

It’s a quite run down place, not really clean with a below average breakfast. Room are tiny an windows do not close properly. Only good thing: water pressure in the shower. Only recommended if you need to stay near the north station.

Stayed here for 4 nights with a friend! Our room wasn’t cleaned once! I left the hotel this morning and informed the hotel reception about this, and they assured me they will have housekeeping come by my room. Got back at 7pm and still no housekeeping! I went downstairs to ask if we can at least get fresh towels and the manager came to the room with small hand towels and said that, that is the only fresh towels that’s available! DON’T STAY HERE.

Great location near downtown, near the train station. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Their English was excellent which helped us a ton since we didn’t know dutch. The breakfast was excellent, and we were there for only 1 night, but they let us grab a little breakfast even though we were leaving 15 minutes before breakfast was served. I will be back for sure.

Tv in the room was broken and staff didn’t even try to compensate or fix the issue. Would not recommend to stay at this hotel. Bronxy surroundings an be a little frightening for some people, but for me it wasn’t an issue.

Taxi driver struggled to find the location on a Saturday. It is disturbingly near Brussels Nord station which comes alive with immigrant sleepers in the area at night. The a/c was not working on a night with 25 deg C temperatures so slept on the bed with the window open which made for a lot of noise in rooms overlooking the Botanic Building. Breakfast was cheap and cheerful for E12.5 and for a room rate of E88 in high season, you probably get what you pay for.

I have stayed in this hotel several times in the past mainly due to the proximity to the Bruxelles Nord stain station. The surroundings of the hotel is not very nice, because it is just next to a red right district, but I never felt any danger. The members of staff were generally friendly and I also got a decent room with a good view to the south.

I stayed the hotel because of my business trip. Since I made my reservation in last minute I paid more than the hotel deserves. First of all, breakfast was not enough. Although the hotel is close to the metro station, environment of the hotel is a bit underbelly since one of my friends’ wallet was stolen around (under the bridge). As the hotel is so close to the buildings around, the rooms are generally dark. one morning I woke up because of the voices coming from next apartment’s construction works. And the internet connection was the slowest and worst one that I have ever seen!

I took this hotel as I had a meeting opposite at the botanic building. It was around €65 for the night, and you get what you pay for. Clean, but basic and the bathroom needed updating. As I noly arrived late and simply needed to get my head down for the night i t was fine. I probably wouldnt stay here for a vacation, or pay anywhere near their advertised €250 rack rate.

The hotel is well located and convenient for public transport, staff are friendly and helpful but the decor is tired and the corridors are a tad dingy. Rooms and bathrooms are correct but a little bizarre in terms of layout. This is not an expensive hotel in terms of the offer but for just a few more euros you can do very much better. Nice, clean and comfortable room. Quite close to the subway station and very close to the Gare de Bruxelles-Nord. There were not so many choices for breakfast. Poor wireless signal inside the room. Red district is just after the corner.

The hotel and room itself are nice! Perfect size room for one person. The front desk staff were more than extremely helpful with any queries I had, especially on must see attractions in the city. The location itself isn’t too great. While it is very close to the metro line the walk to the hotel at night-time doesn’t feel very safe, and as I was travelling alone I didn’t feel at ease. It’s a bit of a walk to the Grand Place and other tourist attractions but to get the good price for a Brussels hotel it’s worth a stay.

I just recently stayed in this hotel and I have to say that I was disgusted with it! When I arrived in my room there was pubic hairs in the bath from whoever was there before me. The curtains in the bathroom were both filthy and half hanging off the wall. The curtains in the main bedroom were also full of stains and also the walls were also very dirty! I’ve never seen the likes of it before and I’ve stayed in both cheaper and expensive places. If I owned this hotel I would be mortified at the state the rooms are kept as I’ve no doubt that my room was not the only one like this.

The hotel is conveniently located 10 minutes walking from the train station north and 20 minutes walking to the Grand Place. The hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable although a fresh coat of paint would help. The two staff we met were both fantastic and readily assisted us with directions. The breakfast was a typical European breakfast with breads, cheeses and scrambled eggs. All in all, not a bad place to stay.

Staying for work at a nearby European Commission building and this was much lower priced than the Hilton/Sheraton etc. but still only 5 mins walk away. Very friendly service at reception and the hotel bar has reasonably priced drinks. I didn’t have breakfast but the dining area looked clean and comfortable. My room (108) had everything I needed (comfy bed, good shower, clean, free wifi) and overall I think they offer good value for money for those on a budget.

We only stayed for one night at this hotel so cannot faulty it. Bed was comfy and staff seemed very nice. We didn’t had any meals at the hotel so cannot comment on that. The city Centre is quite easily accessible and we were also able to park for free.

stayed here for one night on the 17th of September, we arrived early in the morning and met a nice cheerful man at reception who kindly took our bags while we went off to explore while waiting for our room. The room was very nice one big double bed, the bathroom had a great shower and plenty of towels, the room was quiet big. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the north train station, there are a couple of good restaurants by the rogier metro stop which is just around the corner (5 mins) by the Sheraton hotel. The city centre is about a 15-20 min walk from the hotel.

Stayed twice in this hotel and could say that it was a nice and comfy hotel. The receptionists were very nice and welcoming! Breakfast was good and filling! It’s located a bit far from the city center and don’t know why it’s called city center?! Anyone?)) Anyway, thumbs up for the staff!

«A positively average hotel»

I’ve been visiting this hotel for the last 5 years, and first of all I must say that this is an average hotel and nothing special. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, the bathrooms could use some renovation, but nothing out of the ordinary. The floors are mainly accessible through an elevator, which is pretty peculiar, but the thing is that the stairs are small, so the elevator is the best option. The position of the hotel is good, with the North Station just some 150 m away, and the city centre can be reached by foot in about half an hour. The breakfast is relatively diverse, but offers the same things each morning. The receptionists and hotel staff are professional and multilingual, which is a big plus for me who doesn’t speak French. The only «problematic» thing worth mentioning is the neighbourhood. One street away from the hotel is the red light district and residential area which is, by the words of the receptionist, «not considered safe after a certain daytime». But ironically, the Belgian Central Police Station is located just next to the hotel. I personally never had any trouble or felt unsafe in the past 5 years, but it thought it would be good to mention it.

«Basic but excellent»

I stayed in this hotel over a weekend in Oslo and it was just perfect for an active traveler. It is literary on the main street of the City, has all the amenities. The staff was super nice and helpful and even tried to help me check in for my flight when my phone was not working. It’s clean and the shower works well. The room is small but who cares if you are out all day.

I stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed this little hotel very much. One of the reasons that I liked it so much was due to the excellent job Director, Imran Amin did as the hotels’ manager. I communicated with him via email before I arrived and he was very prompt in responding to my inquiries and greeted me warmly upon my arrival. He was always on hand to oversee that everything ran smoothly. He also had 2 super assistants at the front desk, Joe and Mohammed. Thanks guys for a fun stay in Oslo.

Walking distance from Central stn. Excellent service. Good breakfast. Friendly atmosphere. Temporary contruction site opposite hotel makes it a bit noicy in some of the rooms (we could change room and were upgraded to superior room).

Very well located hotel. Rich, varied breakfast. The room was rather smaller but pleasant, clean, newer. The bathroom was big enough and the shower worked flawlessly. Staff very pleasant, we were waiting for extra after opening hours (11PM) because our flight was delayed by more than an hour. The price was very good considering the location, the room and the breakfast.

Stayed here for two nights. The hotel was chosen primarily because of its affordability and close proximity to the station and main attractions (train station 5 min walk and opera house 10 mins). For the price, the hotel room was comfortable and spacious and had everything that one would need. The bathroom was slightly small though, especially the shower, which also lacked a good water pressure. Furthermore, I could not seem to find a temperature adjustment for the room, meaning I was forced to accept whatever the room temperature was. Breakfast is provided in the Chinese restaurant attached to the hotel, below the lobby level. The choice is very ample and this was certainly a great bonus of the hotel. The staff are all friendly and check in and check out was suitably efficient. A recommended hotel in Oslo

**GOOD** We stayed here for two nights mid December (fri 13th & Sat 14th) on the 2nd floor above reception. The location is brilliant and the breakfast is really good too. Good selection of food for all. The staff were very friendly, with check-in/out being very quick and easy.. **BAD** The room was very warm and there is no way to control the temperature either. Usually in this position we would open a window but due to the noise outside we couldn’t do that. There is some club/bar next door that honestly plays the worst music in history until about 3am/4am. its pretty bad lol. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Its good value for money.

Two nights in this well located hotel. Service was really good but only minus was bit of a weird scent in the hallway right outside our room. Location is really good so you have easy access by walk from the train etc. Breakfast was also one of the best in the hotels I have visited.

«Perfect Location for Oslo Sightseeing»

The hotel is perfectly located near Karl Johan street within walking distance of all attractions in central Oslo. Attractions outside the center e.g. the Vigeland Park can be easily reached with the nearby tram line. The superior room we had booked provided good value for money with extra space, a couch and a coffee table. The beds were narrow but otherwise excellent. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. The restaurant in the basement is quite dark and gloomy. We will definitely consider staying at this hotel again.

The location is absolutely excellent but. The rooms are really small and the tram that frequently passes beneath makes them very noisy. On top of that there is no AC and the staff seem to enjoy an excessive use of air freshener in tha aula and the corridors.

A decent hotel for the price. Not up to American standards, but typical for Europe. A tiny room. Great breakfast. Great location walking distance to the main train station. Good internet speed 68 Mbps down 40 Mbps up. It was hard to control the room temperature with no air conditioner or fans and only one blanket.

Excellent location for an entertaining weekend/weekday. Walk around the pedestrian only streets for all your shopping,food or evening entertainment. Front Desk is very helpful and eager to assist. Space for breakfast is in the basement with steep stairs to access and no elevator. The same place gets transformed to a Chinese Restaurant in the evening. Rooms are very tiny. The washroom is seriously cramped.

We stayed for a four days journey. Very clean and good staff. But the breakfast. wow. the hotel is very close to the Center so is easy to discover all Oslo from Aker Brygge to Holmenkollen. We will come back

The hotel has a very convenient location+very helpful front desk. Very clean. The room area is quite small around 12sq meters. Hotels in Oslo are very expensive that these types of hotels in Europe worth the half price. Almost the same quality and basics with the ParkInn hotel, 2/3 blocks away from here.

Very close to Central Station, city center and full of shops around. It was clean and comfortable. Very easy access. Receptionists always very polite and nice; Breakfast was good, but the place its served could use more light. Very dark!

«Location preferred but not amenities»

The hotel’s wifi was not working during the stay. The double bed seemed small for two guests. We had to improvised to use couch sofa for the second guest. The breakfast is in a separate restaurant below and beside the hotel called Shanghai 2K18. The restaurant did have WiFi service. The breakfast includes both hot and cold items. The selections are great and they taste really sumptuous. The best thing about the hotel is its location to the major attractions. The hotel provides very limited amenities.

The beds were comfortable and the room very quiet. The breakfast was excellent. The room was small but adequate. The bathroom had an electric drying rack that was very useful for drying some laundered clothing. The train station and restaurants were all within walking distance. One negative was that you could not control the room temperature and it was a bit warm. It was chilly outside so the hotel had the heat on.

Stopped in this hotel as I had meetings with Norwegian customers who requested City Centre location. Excellent location. 10 minute walk from Central station. Average priced, therefore average hotel. We stayed for two days in Oslo and then took a quick 2-day trip to Bergen before returning for a night before flying home. I picked this hotel because it was within walking distance of the train station. It’s also within easy walking distance of the downtown sites. The hotel staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodated our request to hold our suitcases while we were in Bergen so we could travel more easily there. The rooms were clean, comfortable and stylish. The showers were amazing with great water pressure and lots of hot water. Breakfast was included and a free meal in Norway is a very nice thing when you are traveling. The breakfast buffet had hot and cold options and we always left for sightseeing full and satisfied. This will be our go-to hotel when we are in Oslo from now on. Thanks for the great stay!

We recently stayed at this hotel while attending a Dave Matthews Band concert at the Oslo Spektrum. The location of the hotel is great. Very easy to walk to from the central train station. Lots of restaurants, shops, etc. located very near by. The front desk staff was very friendly upon check in. The room was quite nice. Not very large, but adequate. Bathroom is large for Europe standards and very well done. We did not have a chance to have the breakfast in the morning, but there was a small bar/coffee area in the lobby of the hotel.

We came there and it was so nice and clean. There was construction work going on but only from 0800 to 1700. And this was held. The view from our room was overlooking the main street.No noise was disturbing. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff curious and friendly. Check inn and check out went as planned with friendly staff.

Bed, shower, wifi et cetera are good. Breakfasts is good: fresh fruit, yoghurt and bread. But the coffee is, let’s say politely, not tasty. Furthermore the room was heatened (understatement), so not the best for the ecological footprint.

The hotel is very near from central station. It is next to Burger King on one of the side streets of famous Karl Johans Gate. The hotel room had modern fittings, many power plugs, a sofa, writing table, coffe table, coffee kettle. heating system was excellent during sub zero weather. Internet speed was good. Breakfast was fine. Receptionists were courteous.

I checked in here after a week of traveling. Nice staff, 2 min walking from Oslo central station, clean and modern rooms. You could hear the people in the streets, but it was after all a saturday. I had no problem sleeping though. The breakfast was really good, just down in the basement. You got shopping just nextdoor, and restaurants al más. I was really happy with my stay. Would stay here agin.

I stayed here along with my colleagues for one night during our business trip. The hotel is clean and the reception staff member is very friendly and helpful. The room is small but packed with everything you need. Had a nice heating unit next to the bed and everything is perfect. I stay in bigger chain hotels all the time but being a small hotel this one packs a big punch. The location is amazing as it’s right next to the Oslo C station. So takes 25min train ride to the Oslo airport.

A western breakfast just enough for breakfast.

This is a fairly new modern hotel, it’s near to the station and the main square. I booked a deluxe double room which I think was worth the additional cost. They serve a good breakfast downstairs between 7-10 am

it’s a good selection of clod meats fruit etc and cooked eggs sausage and bacon.

Idaeally situation 350 m from the train station in the direktion of the city center tha Hotel is ideally situated. Warm reception with daytime bar and small dishes. Breakfast in the basement, as well as nighttime chinese restaurant, with tastatur dishes. Rich and Nice breakfast with a lot of fruit and different sorts of bread. The roms are quiet, but lack good lights. No bedlight so evening reading is difficult. Nice bathroom and shower. Good minibar and boiler in the Room. Nickeln furnished but the beds had too soft mattresses for our taste. Well woth its price. Will probably be ack soon again. Good staff, but a bit unsure both of nowegian and doesn´tunderstand the relaterade Swedish at all. English is ok. Fast check-in and check-out without any fuss and friendly atmosphere. With the extremely central location it was a good choice for a family with children for a short city visit

Bad service, awful service.. we were coming in the afternoon and just leave the baggages in the room. When we come back I saw that the room we reserved, with one big bed and bigger room, was wrong. o went to the reception for explication and the man was very rough and told me that I should had control the room. “Now you had used the bathroom so I can’t change “. (how did he know I had used the bathroom??). Know that you can change the room anyway. he was very rude. From the window we saw people smoking just in front our bedroom. We had asked the man about parking and he told us that we didn’t had any reduction of the parking in the big parking house (normally it should had costs 20€/night) with the reduction. The next day with a nice receptionist, we heard a man who got the reduction. to late for us. we already paid 50€. It s also very difficult to park the car in front of the hotel. The breakfast was in the underground. little boring. but we’re only 3 personnes. think the hotel was rather empty..so the not nice man could give us another room if he wanted!! The hotel is for us a little 3* hôtel only Not funny experience at all and of course we don t recommended this hotel.

I arrived here over 0:00. The kind staff (I don’t remember his name) called me, and waited me to arrive. My room has already been heated that I could fall asleep warmly(It was last December). The only disadvantage was the elevator was out of order because of remodeling(?). I had to walk up to 5th floor. Breakfast was good. It’s 10 mins walking from Oslo S.

The room is ok but small. Nothing special. There are two issues. One is the temperature. It is very warm in my room and it is hard to cool it down even with an open window. The second issue is the bed. It is very short. I am 180 cm and I feel that I just fit. Anyone taller than me would not be able to stretch out. Breakfast is limited but ok. Staff is friendly. Ill try a new hotel next time.

«Worst hotel experience ever. «

Room was small & badly laid out. The bed did not allow enough room to get around needs to be moved over a bit. Also had a wooden frame so this made sitting on the edge uncomfortable. Only one chair in the room between two. The worst thing though was it was very hot & the airconditioning was non existent & we were given a small fan. We had to leave the window open which meant no sleep because the demolition work across the road went on until after 11 pm. Even after 11am we could still hear noise from somewhere so no sleep was had. Apparently the contractors had permission from the local government to work until 11 pm. Clearly they don’t have any consideration for tourists staying in the area. This is not the hotels fault but if the airconditioning worked the widows could have been closed cutting down the noise. We complained several times & asked to speak to the manager but was told he was not available. We left our number but he never called. We believe we should have received some compensation but we have not had any communication at all from them. Very bad customer service. They have your money upfront so simply don’t care. Worst hotel experience ever. Don’t stay here!

This hotel is located in the heart of Oslo within walking distance of all the main tourist sites and shops. There is a Subway store next door if you get sick of restaurant food. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. All spoke English. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are small and the bed was very comfortable. The shower leaked out into the bathroom due to poor design. A good place to stay.

I stayed here for four nights. The hotel is small, and just off the main shopping street. It is easy to get to as it is a very short distance from the Central Train Station. My room was a single. It was small, but this is the norm in most European hotels in this category. However, it was comfortable/ The Wi-Fi worked fine, and the included buffet breakfast made this hotel a good value in a very expensive city. All of the staff was personable, and they always tried to answer the questions.

I booked a double room through Norwegian airlines and for some reason they didn’t have any room available so they «upgraded» me to a studio. I prepaid for my stay and yet they ask for my credit card as guarantee and when I did check out I double checked that nothing would be charge as I didn’t have anything from the mini bar and I paid beforehand. all sorted. I moved to my next stop, to Bergen. 2 weeks later I was trying to pay with my credit card for something when its been declined as I reached the max of the card, but was impossible so I checked my credit card online and there was a double charge from the hotel. how Is it possible? I even double checked and made sure nothing will be charge and yet, there there was on paper, so I had to wait 5 days for it to be refunded. the guys in the desk where only temp workers, they didn’t know anything about the area, touristy attractions nor restaurants, but helpful in a way that they offered to look online themselves. at the end I ended up looking for everything although would have been nice to go somewhere «local» and well known. anyway. studio was basic. everything you need, at times few noises from the. corridor but manageable. location wise was good. close to the central station. and amenities. the restaurant (breakfast) is so dark and has a mix vibe to it, kind of bland Japanese Chinese music and decor. and half bar?

Расположен в тихом месте, добраться до центра можно за 10 минут. Автобусы останавливаются в нескольких шагах от отеля. Персонал на ресепшн очень учтивый и дали много полезной информации для изучения города.

Шведский стол и номер не соответствуют 4-м звёздам. В частности, я должен был отказаться от кондиционера, так как он был очень шумным.

Уже останавливались два года назад и качество обслуживания было хорошим. Завтрак очень разнообразный. Заметно особое внимание к экологичности, например: бумага для ванной комнаты, отсутствие варенья в упаковке, удобные дозирующие устройства, позволяющие избежать потерь и ненужной упаковки.

Отсутствие сейфа в номере. По-прежнему доступен в специальном месте на ресепшн.

3-х звёздочный отель с функциональностью 4-х звёздочного. Большой комфортабельный номер (обращаю внимание, что ставят чайник, чай и кофе бесплатно). Очень приятный персонал. Не далеко от центра, 10 минут ходьбы до железнодорожного вокзала, где начинается исторический центр. К услугам гостей бесплатная крытая парковка.

В отеле всё понравилось. Не понравились водители-камикадзе в городе…. 🙂

«Highly recommend»

The accomodation is very nice, comfortable and well cleaned. The staff members are always kind and friendly. Breakfast is very good, they offer much variety and evertyhing is always fresh. The hotel is not so closed to the center region, but there is a bus stop right in front of it at which you can take a bus if you want (including the one to go to Piazza Maggiore), and it is a 20-minute walk to the train station. There are excellent restaurants around the hotel. Internet connection sometimes is not so good but it is possible to use.

«Good stay at the hotel»

Stay in this hotel is good value for money. The location is near the entrance of the city centar, cc 30 min walk threw the neighborhood then over the brige on the main train station. The hotel has free garage parking,nice and clean rooms with smart tv, great choice of food at breakfeast time. The wifi is fast and there is s local store near.

«Hotel met the expectations for the price»

Nice rooms, friendly staff and standard breakfast for being Italy. 10 min walk to the train station with porticos half of the way, and further 10 along the main shopping street to get to Piazza Maggiore. Can also take the bus which runs frequently near the hotel. Quiet area. Good size grocery shop a minute away. Free Wi-Fi, but didn’t work in the hotel room very well, only in the reception-area.

«Comfortable and very good value»

Nice hotel situated in outskirts of city. Large comfortable and very well equipped room with corner bath, though not a jacuzzi as advertised. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. Excellent value for money. Hotel is about a 15 to 20 min walk from the Bologna Central Station and a several minutes more into city centre. Spent three nights here and visited Florence for a day by train. Very minor complaint would be the water wasted running taps for several minutes before hot water reached room. All in all a very nice stay and would happily return.

«Clean and comfortable, especially the bathroom»

Room was spacious with very nice details. Bathroom was huge and one of the most comfortable I’ve ever seen. Not only is the bathroom big, but it had a full size tub with a special seat and the shower can be adjusted to allow showering while seated. I wish I had one like this at home! A great perk when you’re a tourist that’s been on your feet all day and even showering hurts. Location: it’s not a prime location which means the attractions are not within walking distance, but it’s easily accessible by bus 27 which is very frequent (either to the city center or to the main train station and the airport bus which departs from there). However, for me a great perk is the Pam supermarket a few steps away. It’s a full size supermarket, very convenient. The breakfast buffet was very good, even for a vegetarian. They had fruit and the usual cucumbers and tomatoes, plus a great variety of delicious pastries.

«decent plaxe»

Staff very friendly and willing to assist however they could. Hotel a little run down but for the price it did just the job. My only criticism was my room had no hot water. I had to be up really early so had to time to complain, but skipping a shower before a flight is not fun!

«Great stay «

Another great stay in a Best Western. Staff very professional and very much ensured we had a problem-free stay. Room great, king bed with all you need for a short stay. Yes it’s a bit out of Bologna Centro but a lovely walk in to the city for dinner. Ample and easy parking so great if you are doing a road trip.

«Excellent Service from Staff»

Our first night was terrible. We were given a room with, what looked like, old carpet and heavy curtains on two doors and windows. Dust mites kicked in a very bad asthma attack. Opening the window or balcony door for fresh air turned off the air conditioning in over 80 degree heat (27c). Although the staff was responsive by visiting the room, promptly, (we had to go to the desk to request help since the phone was not plugged in) there was little that could be done during the night and we were told the hotel was fully booked. However, in the morning when we went to the desk the staff were very apologetic and accommodating. They moved us to a new room in a recently remodeled section. The rest of our week long stay was very comfortable. Many thanks to Loredonna Affuso, Front Office Manager, for her responsive and considerate handling. Just a tip: If buying a bus ticket ask if the #27 A,B,o rC buses, which go into the downtown, will be going by the Piazza that day. Route changes on holidays and when events in the downtown close streets. Also, be sure to have your bus pass validated by the little machine inside the bus. Bologna has police that board the bus unexpectedly to monitor bus passes. There is a fine for not validating your ticket.

Great place to stay when in Bologna if happy to walk a little or use buses. Clean, helpful staff & big room. We appreciated the larger room given 3 of us. Staff spoke English & were happy to assist us with confirming our activities & re where to eat.

«A Little Gem»

Spent 7 nights at this hotel. It is located in a quiet area but on a direct bus route to the old city and is about a 25 minute easy walk. The rooms air conditioned, kept immaculately clean and ours had a king sized, very comfortable bed. The bar is well stocked and the restaurant has a fairly extensive menu with delicious food to suit all tastes and is not expensive. The breakfast is ideal with a continental or cooked choice and as much as you can eat. The staff are so friendly and eager to please. The few queries which we had were always answered with a smile, nothing was too much trouble. To be honest I couldn’t find fault with the accommodation, food or staff. Believe me this hotel is a little gem.

A few points are worth mentioning: as you may have noticed from the information available in your room, City Hotel adheres to a green protocol, as all Best Western hotels. This is why: 1. our toilet paper is ecological, with natural colour and 100% recycled 2. in the rooms there aren’t any cups, because we prefer to use recyclable glasses and stirrers. As regards the breakfast, our concentrated fruit juices are machine-made for better temperature maintenance, but they are not obtained from powders. There is a dispenser of white natural yogurt and a wide range of fruit yogurts. Cakes and croissants are really appreciated by our guests and our toaster is perfectly safe. Our quality has improved during the years, as our guests and their reviews testify everyday. Of course, we respect and appreciate your feedback and hope to have you again at City Hotel.
