Appearance [ ]
Echizen is a tall girl with short, blonde hair that reaches just below her chin. She has brown eyes. Her face is usually kept in a scowl, but this changes whenever Echizen sees or hears about Miyano (Echizen’s friend) or sees something cute. She always wears her skirt long, instead of the usual short fashion.
Personality [ ]
Echizen is quite aggressive toward anyone, excluding Miyano. She gets upset or angry about small things; one example is whenever Oota calls her ‘Ecchan’. She also lacks the ability to eat sweets if they are «cute». She easily jumps to conclusions but is very dedicated to helping in what she believes in.
History [ ]
Echizen grew up with Oota as her next door neighbor and childhood friend. Oota has stated Echizen used to come over to his house to eat his mother’s homemade donuts when she was young and that his mother was sad that she had not come to visit lately. It is unsure how they drifted apart, but is likely that they attended different junior high schools.
She decided to become a delinquent after an unknown young woman defended young Echizen from being teased for wishing to be a princess. Admiring this woman, Echizen tells her mother her new dream. The lady is likely Satou-sensei.

отличное аниме, как по мне. это повседневность, которая не претендует на сюжет (но в отличие от того же кейона, все не настолько бессмысленно) или драму, не претендует даже на малейшую смысловую нагрузку, но это именно то, чем мне это аниме и приглянулось. здесь нет ничего лишнего. это просто комедия, которая действительно радует глаз.
анимация и саундтрек, кстати отлично гармонируют с тайтлом, а если точнее, с самим Танакой. музыка (чаще всего) медленная и спокойная, анимация также медлительна, а иногда вообще один кадр длится пару секунд. это отлично дополняет сюжет
аниме действительно насквозь пропитано юмором, и, прошу заметить, хорошим. в каждой серии для каждого есть как минимум пара моментов, в которых можно, как говорится, в голос проржаться. собственно, комедия — основное достоинство аниме
второе — характеры персонажей не совсем типичны. ну, а также сами персонаж_ки милые, конечно, но я никогда не беру этого в расчет при оценке аниме.
ставлю 9/10, так как очень люблю комедии. всем тем, кто тоже такое любит, рекомендую. запомните, Танака — лучшая девочка.
p.s. ладно, это слишком хорошо, ставлю 10.

Appearance [ ]
Tanaka has a thin physique with short, fluffy, dark-brown hair (black in the anime series). The left and right side of his bangs are swept toward his ears, though the middle is left to reach down between his eyes. His black-colored eyes most often appear to be sullen and/or dull. He is most often seen with an apathetic expression. He is described to be handsome and have a prince-like appearance by Oota’s younger sister, so it can be thought that Tanaka is more good-looking than one might come to expect of his character.
When not wearing his school uniform, Tanaka’s casual wear is simple jeans with a t-shirt or hoodie. It’s hard to imagine that he cares about fashion, so it’s likely that his choices in clothing are arbitrary at best and lazily thrown together otherwise.
Personality [ ]
Tanaka is a listless teenager who is always dozing off and acting exhausted when awake. He is constantly sighing and refrains from tiring work, all while being accompanied by his friend, Oota. Due to his disdain towards hard-work, he often relies on his family and friends (namely Oota, but this is not limited to him) to assist him with activities. Tanaka is apathetic, and hardly ever outwardly expresses how he feels. When he does, it’s normally done in an impassive-seeming manner as well and thus makes it seem like he’s mature at best and emotionless and uncaring at worst. He rarely does anything where he exerts more energy than required; however, he shows a surprising dedication to maintaining his lifestyle and daily routine, even going out of his way sometimes to maintain it even at the cost of expending energy he’d rather not use. Tanaka is the type of person that only exerts effort only in things that he is either interested in or believes concerns him a great deal. Though, he is noted to be a kind person, such as buying Oota an ice cream or thinking about not being a good brother to Rino
He is somewhat scatterbrained at times, coming up with eccentric-at-best ideas that hold some form of merit or have some argument behind them but end up resulting in something stupid or bizarre. Examples include the ONA specials (Tanaka-kun wa Kyou mo Kedaruge) where he lays out various ideas centered on how to buy food from the cafeteria lady. This, in turn, conflicts with the times where he shows genuine wisdom or insight into certain topics such as the conflict between Echizen and Miyano and his conversation with Shiraishi. His reasoning and point of view on their issues are birthed from his general demeanor and lifestyle, which actually brings with it a certain wisdom that work well for the people he interacts with. He once intended to get a lower score on a test just because that was his target, and he lost in an Othello match against Echizen but not before he managed to turn all of his remaining pieces into the Japanese character for the color white. This indicates that Tanaka is actually very smart and capable but only chooses to use his head for things he wants to use it for. He had also helped Miyano Sora by giving him small pieces of advice to make his crush acknowledge him.
Sometimes, Tanaka’s demeanor and personality may come across as self-centered or overly demanding. He sometimes acts like a child, and other times an incapable person. But he doesn’t mean anything he does badly or harmfully. He just genuinely desires an uneventful, peaceful life.
History [ ]
Tanaka’s parents are always working abroad and rarely visit, so he lives along with his sister, Rino. Rino is like the mother of the house, cooking and caring for Tanaka. Although it is unknown on how Tanaka and Oota met, Tanaka depends on Oota for almost anything, making them quite close.
