ВАЖНО Не забыть в случае 64 разрядной системы скопировать модифицированный файл igdumdim64.dll в windows\system32, и igdumdim32.dll в windows\sysWow64. Это необходимо делать в безопасном режиме (Попасть в безопасный режим возможно, перезагрузив компьютер и нажав F8 до начала загрузки ОС или используйте команду msconfig в уже запущенной ОС)

Подскажите, где и как найти ссылку, чтобы скачать драйвер на видеокарту Intel HD Graphics 620. Второй день уже бьюсь, на нервах весь.
На самом ноутбуке картинка нормальная, я даже и не знал, что нет видеодрайвера.
Ну не все так печально, как вы описываете 😉 (прим.: «нецензурная» часть из вопроса выше была вырезана).
Ниже представлю несколько способов решения вопроса (думаю, хотя бы один из них должен вам (и всем, кто столкнулся с подобным) подойти. ).
Загрузка и установка драйвера на Intel HD Graphics
👉 Способ 1
Если у вас установлена ОС Windows 10 и компьютер подключен к интернету — попробуйте воспользоваться функцией обновления в диспетчере устройств. Кстати, чтобы его открыть — достаточно кликнуть правой кнопкой мыши (ПКМ) по меню ПУСК. 👇
Разумеется, после необходимо указать, что требуется автоматический поиск драйвера. Как правило, Windows в течении 5-10 минут находит и загружает его самостоятельно! (по крайней мере это работало на большинстве ноутбуков, которые я «трогал» 😉).
Автоматически поиск драйверов
👉 Способ 2 (для ноутбуков)
Если вы обновляете видеодрайвер на ноутбуке — то порекомендовал бы в первую очередь воспользоваться официальным сайтом производителя ноутбука (а не Intel!).
👉 Для этого, кстати, потребуется узнать точную модель своего ноутбука и используемую версию ОС!
После на офиц. сайте укажите эти сведения, и загрузите оптимизированный драйвер. См. скрин ниже. 👇
Важно : в ряде случаев производителя ноутбуков «встраивают» в драйверы свои панели управления (что позволит более «точечно» настроить устройство). В любом случае, лишними они не будут!
👉 Способ 3
На офиц. сайт Intel есть спец. инструмент 👉 Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (ассистент для работы с драйверами). Он позволяет в автоматическом режиме подобрать и обновить все драйверы Intel. Весьма удобно!
Пользоваться им до безумия просто : после установки приложения в меню ПУСК появится соответствующая ссылка. Необходимо запустить ассистента.
Запускаем ассистента Intel
Далее приложение определит модель вашего устройства, ОС Windows, и проверит какие драйверы нуждаются в обновлении. В моем случае необходимо обновить драйвер на Wi-Fi и Bluetooth адаптеры, и Intel HD. 👍

👉 Способ 4
Помимо «инструментов» от производителей — есть и сторонние приложения, специализирующиеся на авто-обновлении драйверов.
Мне в этом плане, например, импонируют 👉 Driver Booster и 👉 Snappy Driver Installer (вторая больше для офлайн-установки).

Что делать, если после установки драйвера нет панели управления Intel HD
Еще один довольно «больной» вопрос. Попробуем разобраться с ним по порядку.
1) Если у вас ноутбук — загрузите драйвер с офиц. сайта производителя и обновите его. См. способ 2 выше.
2) Проверьте не только системный трей (рядом с часами) в поисках значка на центр управления графикой, но и меню ПУСК, и поиск (См. скрин ниже 👇).

3) Для Windows 10, возможно, потребуется в «ручную» установить панель управления с магазина приложений.
4) Ознакомьтесь также со статьей, ссылку на которую привожу ниже. Она, конечно, не только о Intel, но всё же.

4) Когда наконец-то войдете в настройки графики Intel — включите отображение значка на панели задач. Таким образом (в дальнейшем) вы сможете в любой момент открыть панель управления видеокартой. 👍

Hi, I need very urgent solution for Intel HD graphics 620 for windows 7 64 bit OS. but not getting solution.
Microsoft mention kaby lake processor is not support windows 7. but products quantity is high and customer need it any how. More than 600 business series notebook transaction here.
Intel is showing a link but its not working.

You can find the drivers for the Intel HD Graphics 620 at https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/96551/Intel-HD-Graphics-620. Remember that if you have a branded PC you have to install the driver provided by the computer’s manufacturer, since they’re optimized for that specific PC’s architecture.

According to my research, Microsoft announced that Windows 10 would be the only supported Windows platform for Kaby Lake processors. Intel has confirmed that no official Windows 7 or 8.x drivers will be produced for Kaby Lake. Fortunately, Intel eventually provided drivers such as the HD Graphics 620 driver for Windows 7 and 8 on its download center site.
You could down load Intel HD graphics 620 driver from the device manufacturer website. To make a device work well, we should get compatible drivers and the drivers are usually released by the device manufacturer website.

Intel HD 620 – интегрированный видеоадаптер, устанавливаемый в младшие процессоры Intel, поколения Kaby Lake (седьмое поколение Intel Core I). Данный графический чип является самым слабым в своём поколении.
Технические характеристики
HD 620 – младший интегрированный чип в шестисотой линейки встроенных видеокарт. Поэтому от него не стоит ожидать увидеть впечатляющие характеристики, хотя он мощнее большинства более старых встроенных видеокарт.
Максимальная рабочая частота чипа может достигать значения в 1050MHz. Данное значение можно получить лишь на самых мощных моделях процессоров, в которых интегрирована данная видеокарта. Реальная тактовая частота может быть ниже на 50-150MHz. За работоспособность отвечают 24 унифицированных процессора, что для встроенного решения достаточно много.
Память
Объём памяти HD 620 равен нулю, что не удивительно для интегрированной видеокарты. Для работы чип используют оперативную память, установленную на компьютере. От частоты ОЗУ напрямую зависит производительность видеокарты, но даже самые дешёвые планки оперативной памяти стандарта DDR 4 обеспечивают неплохую скорость работы.
Максимальная разрядность шины достигает значения в 128 бит, что очень недурно и равняется средним дискретным видеокартам.
Чип поддерживает практически все самые современные API:
Это позволит запустить любую современную игру, но только запустить, комфортного геймплея вы не получите по причине низкой производительности видеокарты.
Поддержка OpenCL и Quick Sync позволит использовать различный профессиональный софт.
Для каких задач подойдёт HD 620?
Со стандартными задачами, предъявляемыми к интегрированным видеокартам, таким как офисная работа, Intel HD 620 не только справится без проблем, но и будет несколько избыточным чипом.
Видео и мультимедиа
Чип отлично проявит себя в системах, созданных в качестве домашнего кинотеатра. Он позволит просматривать любые фильмы или видео в разрешении HD, FullHD, 2K и даже 4K. C контентом более высокого разрешения HD 620 вряд ли сможет справиться, но такие фильмы или видео вы вряд ли сможете найти на просторах интернета. Тем более, что телевизоры, способные отобразить такое разрешение свыше 4К, стоят неприлично дорого, и с ними обычно не используют интегрированные решения.
Из современных проектов мало какие игры пойдут с комфортной частотой кадров, особенно это относится к приложением с поддержкой DirectX 12 – они нормально работают только на мощных дискретных видеокартах. Самое лучшее, что сможет запустить HD 620 из современных проектов — нетребовательные многопользовательские игры. Вы можете даже не пытаться играть в Watch Dogs 2 или другие подобные проекты, даже на минимальных настройках графики вы не получите комфортной частоты кадров.
Некоторые могут понадеяться на разгон, тут они могут о нём забыть. Единственное, каким образом вы можете попробовать повысить производительность графики — разгоном оперативной памяти. Но не стоит ждать впечатляющих результатов, слабость графического чипа это не исправит.
Видеоадаптер отлично показывает себя в старых играх (проекты 2012 года и ранее). С ними у HD 620 не возникает особых проблем.
Использование Intel HD 620 позволит увеличить скорость работы в специализированных программах для работы с графикой или монтажа видео. Но и тут видеокарта не может показать особо впечатляющих результатов. Всё-таки интегрированные графические карты не рассчитаны на такое.
Драйверы
Драйвер для Windows ничем особенным не выделяется, свои задачи он выполняет. Установка его стандартна и не отличается от любого другого программного обеспечения для Windows. Достаточно простой загрузки установочного пакета с официального сайта Intel и установки его на компьютер.
Обновление можно произвести двумя способами. Первый способ — использовать автоматическое обновление в настройках Intel. Второй — вручную установить новую версию драйвера.
С Linux всё по другому, присутствует два вида программного обеспечения: проприетарное, поддерживаемое компанией intel, и свободное, поддерживаемое сообществом пользователей.
У обоих драйверов есть свои плюсы и минусы. К плюсам свободного драйвера можно отнести отсутствие необходимости в ручной установки и обновления, а также идеальная работа на любом дистрибутиве. Преимущество проприетарного драйвера — лучшая производительность и совместимость с играми или программами.
Сравнение HD 620 с дискретными видокартами
Имеет смысл сравнение с видеокартами низшего ценового сегмента. От какой-нибудь nVidia GT 710 данный чип не оставит даже мокрого места, такой адаптер ему не конкурент. Конкурентом HD 620 можно считать nVidia GT 730 или Radeon R5 240.
HP Support provides new driver, but get incompatibility message. Have tried various older drivers, no luck. When trying to update manually, receives message «service installation in this inf is invalid». Specs and screenshots show below. PLease assist?
Eventually found driver 21.20.16.5064 on intel site, loaded perfectly. Problem solved, tx.

Download the zip file version of the driver and unzip the file to its folder.
Once that is done, go to the device manager, click to expand the Display Adapters device manager category.
Click on the Intel HD graphics adapter listed there. Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and then at the bottom of that window, select the Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
Click on Have Disk, and browse to the unzipped driver folder>Graphics>iigd_dch (setup information file), click Next, and the driver should install.
It will seem like it will take forever for the driver to install, but be patient.
After the driver installs, restart the PC.
Then after a few moments a new app will also be installed. The Intel® Graphics Command Center (IGCC).

Hi, I need very urgent solution for Intel HD graphics 620 for windows 7 64 bit OS. but not getting solution.
Microsoft mention kaby lake processor is not support windows 7. but products quantity is high and customer need it any how. More than 600 business series notebook transaction here.
Intel is showing a link but its not working.

Microsoft does not write any drivers for 3rd party hardware. You will have to rely on Intel to provide a Windows 7 solution.

You can find the drivers for the Intel HD Graphics 620 at https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/96551/Intel-HD-Graphics-620. Remember that if you have a branded PC you have to install the driver provided by the computer’s manufacturer, since they’re optimized for that specific PC’s architecture.

According to my research, Microsoft announced that Windows 10 would be the only supported Windows platform for Kaby Lake processors. Intel has confirmed that no official Windows 7 or 8.x drivers will be produced for Kaby Lake. Fortunately, Intel eventually provided drivers such as the HD Graphics 620 driver for Windows 7 and 8 on its download center site.
You could down load Intel HD graphics 620 driver from the device manufacturer website. To make a device work well, we should get compatible drivers and the drivers are usually released by the device manufacturer website.

After today’s Windows 10 Update, the display driver is stopped due to code 43. I have removed the driver and reinstalled the most recent one available from the HP web. After update driver again stopped dut to code 43.
Tried to install latest driver from Intel website. but this gave an error message, saying I need to contact supplier.
I am now stuck using std windows driver with poor resulution and am not able to utalize 2nd screen attached.
When you’ve installed 7-Zip, open your Downloads folder, right click on the win64_24.20.100.6025.zip package, select 7-Zip, select extract files and then click Ok.
Cut this newly extracted folder and paste it on your Desktop so it’s easy to find.
When done, hold down the Windows key and press R
Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
In Device Manager, expand Display adapters, right click the Intel gpu and select Uninstall ( also tick the box to delete driver software ) and when this has completed, restart the notebook.
When windows has reloaded, once again, hold down the Windows key and press R
Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
In Device Manager, expand Display adapters, right click the Intel 620 device and select ‘Update Driver Software’.
In the following window, select ‘Browser my computer for driver software’ and then select ‘Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer’.
In the next window, click the ‘Have Disk’ button and then browse to the extracted Intel win64_24.20.100.6025 folder you pasted on your Desktop.
Browse into the sub-folder Graphics, left click on the file igdlh64.INF to highlight it and then click Open.
Click on ‘Ok’ and then click ‘Next’ and wait for the driver to install.
When done, click ‘Close’ and then click ‘Yes’ to restart the notebook once more.

С помощью утилиты iDSA
Заходим на страницу «Intel Driver & Support Assistant (Intel DSA)» и загружаем iDSA. Устанавливаем программу и перезагружаем компьютер.
После перезагрузки в трее находим иконку iDSA и оттуда запускаем поиск новых драйверов.
После сканирования системы программа автоматически найдёт и установит новый драйвер видеокарты.

HD 620 graphics vs UHD graphics drivers
I have a laptop that uses HD 620 graphics and a legacy app that will ONLY work with HD 620 driver 21.20.16.4627.
Would a machine that uses UHD 620 graphics support this driver?

Not at all. I just didn’t think it was relevant. Apologies for not being clear.
Everything has worked perfectly up to now (there are lots of reasons for using this particular emulator that I won’t go into now) but now I need to replace the laptop and very much want to keep using AmiDuOS so I need to find out if a new one using UHD 620 will accept that driver version.
Never heard of that emulator.

If we may provide some inputs here regarding your inquiries, we would like to inform you that it is possible for a processor with Intel® UHD Graphics 620 to use legacy drivers; however, we cannot confirm if the machine will work using legacy drivers or that specific version » 21.20.16.4627 » since we do not provide these drivers for 6th generation processors or above. We cannot confirm what is included in the driver package and the system probably has an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM, e.g.: Dell*, Asus*, Acer*, HP*, etc.) version of the driver. From our side, we only recommend and provide DCH drivers for this graphics card.
After a driver has been updated to a Windows* DCH Driver, it’s sometimes possible to roll back to a legacy driver; however, rolling back isn’t recommended as it involves a complex process that could result in system instability. This system instability is especially pertinent to graphics drivers.

You cannot use the Intel released version. HP customizes the Intel drivers and the update process recognizes that customized drivers are installed and will not allow them to be overwritten/updated. I realize there are ways around this, but I want the tested, certifued by HP versions. It has now been a years since there has been a major updrade of graphics drivers. The Intel version was released 6 months ago. WHy can’t HP customize it and release it?
I am so sorry I bought this laptop from HP. Their support has been abysmally bad. My three other PCs updated to 1809 months ago, all of which are non-HP products.

My issue was there was no updated graphics driver for the HP Stream Pro G4 business class notebook.
I got a reply form HP, and was told to use the graphics drivers from the Intel site if I wanted the latest version installed.
So I did, and the graphics works just fine.
If you want to know how to do it, let me know, and I will walk you through the process.
You can’t just run the exe file. It won’t work.
I also installed the Intel driver update utility, and about a week after I updated the driver, Intel indicated there was a new one available, and it downloaded and automatically installed with no muss, no fuss.
So, my assumption is: once the Intel graphics driver from Intel is successfully installed, future updates are automatic as they are released.
I thank you for your quick response. I accept that your solution will PROBABLY work just fine, but I was hoping the community could just put some pressure on HP to get the job done the way the tech is supposed to flow or just to update us on what, if any progress is being made. HP support, in general, seems to be the worst of all the major manufacturer/integrators oyt there.

That is why the best way, IMHO to garner HP’s attention to this matter is to communicate directly with the management team.
I was surprised they even assigned a case number to my request and that someone in the hierarchy actually referenced the case and responded.
Not exactly what I was expecting. use the drivers from Intel.
I was hoping they would have stated. we are working on releasing new drivers.
In any event, I have noticed that not just with your model but with most, HP rarely updates the graphics drivers unless there is a bug with the ones on the support pages.
They do a slightly better job with keeping the graphics drivers updated for the business class PC’s, but you pay more for those notebooks, so I assume you are paying for the extra driver support.
I will say this. if you download the latest zip file of the Intel graphics driver, and you download the graphics driver from your notebook’s support page, when I compare the driver files, I cannot find any major differences between the HP driver file and the Intel driver file.
You have to use a free utility like 7-Zip to extract the HP exe file into its driver folder without running it.
There is a Vulkan exe file (which I assume gets automatically launched when you run the driver) within the HP graphics driver file, and the Intel one has the Vulkan software but not as an exe file, so it gets installed somehow but in a different way.
The only other major difference I could find was there is a sp87736.cva file in the HP software and of course, this is missing from the generic Intel driver.
Anyway, if you get tired of waiting for HP to release an updated driver, make a system restore point, and try manually installing the Intel graphics driver. That way you can run the system restore utility and bring your PC back to the HP graphics driver you currently have installed.
I am confident that the generic Intel driver will work just fine for you.

Acer are failing in their responsibility to issue drivers for the affected machines. You should know their support once a machine is out of warranty is quite poor.

Intel HD Graphics 620 Driver for Windows 8.1
I have installed Windows 8.1 Pro x64 on it. I am not able to adjust screen brightness on this computer. Then I realised that it is the graphics driver issue.
Microsoft doesn’t support Windows 8.1 Pro officially which was disappointing to learn as it is not such an old Windows, but I prefer it to Windows 10.
Please note it is 8th generation Intel i5 CPU processor.
Could someone guide me please? That will be really appreciated.
Support of only Windows 10 on 7th gen and later processors has been known for more than two years. It is time for you to accept that fact.
There are no drivers for anything less than windows 10. And, hacks as you suggest are not supported here.
Also, if Windows 8.1 was supported on the HP hardware, they would have a driver. But, they do not.
Or, avoid the problem altogether by going to Windows 10. Hacks like the above are not supported here.
I find Windows 8.1 is less intensive resource wise than Windows 10.
For example, when I boot into Windows 10 the first thing it does is try to see what updates are available. I n Windows 8.1, I have more control over when updates are downloaded in that I’m set up so I am told when there are updates and I can choose to download them when I want. This is quite important given I don’t have the fastest broadband connection in that I can do what I need to do before downloading updates takes up my bandwidth.
Separately form that, Windows 8.1 is just that bit punchier speed-wise and it’s operation is to me a lot cleaner (Windows 8.1 is what the awful Windows 8 should have been from the beginning).
I have thus set up both my PCs as dual boot between Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 and the former is my preferred platform on both.
Given the «hack» as you call or edit as I call it on the » igdlh64.inf » file is not too difficult, I am at a loss as to why Intel has excluded older versions of Windows from this and similar drivers. Windows 7, for example, is still preferred by many and is still being supported up to January 14th 2020. Windows 8.1 is still also receiving updates from Microsoft.
I’ll add other graphics chip providers still provide drivers for older versions of Windows within reason and Intel not doing similar as far back as Windows 7 seems strange to me.
So in the absence of actual support, we find our own solution via a minor script edit to an official driver «.inf» file. I don’t see what is wrong with that as long as the edit is not a malicious one.
If Intel is concerned such edits are not to the benefit of users, then why hasn’t a moderator on here deleted the links to my and other edits across the forum?
I have been trying to install the latest drivers for my Intel HD 620 graphics card since they are well voer 9 months old. However, Intels own updates do not seem to work since (i assume) HP seemt to have specific drivers for their computers. However I cannot find the drivers on the website even searching for them, they all say my computer is not eligible for the update. Where are they?

You should be able to manually install the Intel graphics driver from Intel as follows.
Download the zip file version below. Unzip the file to its folder.
Go to the device manager, click to expand the Display Adapters device manager category.
Click on the Intel HD graphics adapter. Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and then at the bottom of that window, select the Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
Click on Have Disk, and browse to the driver folder you unzipped>Graphics> igdlh64 (setup information file), and the driver should install.
Then restart the PC.
