BB was a bit of a gripe for me, as i always had issues with doing exactly what i want via CE.

How to use.
On the world map, activate the script, turn on the passage of time. When you press the numeric keypad button *, the squad teleports to a map point in the center of the screen (if there is water in the center of the screen, then water).
Note. If you teleport away to another area of the map, the squad icon sometimes disappears. Click on the map so that the squad begins to move, then the icon will appear. Another way is to enable / disable CAMP.

Check these scripts for the test. Turn on the time on the world map and try to activate «script test 1 AOB» and «script test 2 AOB». Did any work? If so, what does the line below the script show?

can activate script 1 but cannot activate script 2
script 1 seems to show coordinates but editing it a bit risky since yo don’t know where to teleport
also using * numpad key sets the float value to 1 and my men stacks in the middle of sea which is in far west of the map
edit: don’t know why i cant activate script 2 and the float value is irreguler number when moving.
edit2: i assume script 1 conrols horizontal soordinate wile scrit 2 is vertical.
edit 3: i made it work you need to chance the script 2 adree to bb211 and pointer to C
now we need working teleport

парни, я понимаю ваше недовольство, но по ссылке, откуда скопирована таблица, все подробно расписано, что и как делать и там ни у кого из юзеров проблем нет.
за то, что у вас таблица не работает, скажите «спасибо» местному копипастеру, который запостил ее сюда, но не соизволил привести описание работы таблицы, хотя бы даже на инглише. понятное дело, если вы «выберете опцию» и «поставите крест», у вас ничего работать не будет.
Activate the script on the inventory screen. In the drop-down list «>>>» select the type. Set «Act.» in the «Yes» position. Remove or put on any item of equipment (just like before). In the line «=» the value will appear, and «Act.» will switch to «No». Then you can choose another type, set the «Act.» in the «Yes» position and repeat the action.
Activate the script on the screen where you will change the values. When you finish editing the values, deactivate the script. In order for the value of Perks to appear, you need to put on or take off equipment (as in «Stats»). All other values appear immediately when you hover the cursor on the subject. Works in inventory, in store, in battle (on the next turn after editing). Some values of the game does not save and resets after a restart, and some are saved only for the «named» equipment. Values marked «(ext.)» appear in the additional line «= (ext.)». Values marked «(+ext.)» may appear in both lines.

Cheat engine battle brothers
First you need to add your current gold in the value box under the value type float and make the first scan.
Then go to the nearest town and sell/buy something, depending on what you did you have to change the scan type to «increased/decreased value» and do the next scan.
You should obtain the address with your current gold value, add it to the list with a double click and change the value to whatever you want.
You can do the same with tools, ammunition and medicine but not food as it depends on your inventory.
First you need a brother with at least 1 level up available, you can recruit one with your newfound gold or fight your way through, then you need to open 3 instances of cheat engine and imput the chosen data in each one, for instance resolve, fatigue or melee skill, and launch the first scan.
For the next scan, select «increasing the value by» your character’s growth, you should obtain something like this :
As you can see in my case, i have something like «1F188xxx» with this information i can now search the other statistics like action points or vision and modify them.
You can also change the number of perks available with this method :
Please have fun testing your builds or slaughtering goblins with your 300 PA ubermensch 🙂

Cheat engine battle brothers
Ive read a few threads about this but cant find any that detailed the way how. Id appreciate if anyone could help, all I need is to find a way to mod files to add gold.
Before the inevitable condenscending comments on how cheating is lame and the questions of why I would want to cheat. When it first released I played and it was too hard so I uninstalled and refunded. Decided to try it again when I saw there were trainers, so I could maybe enjoy the game without crushing difficulty but trainers are outdated and dont work. Before I refund this again I want to try alternate solutions to make this more accessible for someone of exceedingly low skill at the game like myself.
cheat engine is an universal memory editor to cheat in most games, should be easily and readily found in Google for download.
You’d have to open the game, load your save, alt+tab and locate what data in the cheat engine equals to money in game, and then edit that specific data value.
Can’t help you further because I’ve never tried it in battle brothers.
You can find Cheat Engine with a google search etc. When downloading it, be careful to un-tick some of the default settings that want to make some yahoo-related things your defaults.
Once you’ve installed and loaded Cheat Engine, go to File and Open Process and select Battle Brothers.
In the game, enter a settlement and go to the market. See how many crowns you currently have. Enter that amount into the search field in Cheat Engine. Change the «Value Type» to «float» (no idea what that actually signifies) and click the «First Scan» button. You may get thousands of search results, but fear not. Back in the game, sell an item to increase your amount of crowns, and then return to Cheat Engine and enter the amount by which your crowns have increased into the search field (but don’t yet click one of the scan buttons). Then change the «Scan Type» to «increased value by», and then click the «Next Scan» button. That should filter the first lot of results for ones that have since increased by the specified amount, and hopefully there’ll be just one result or only a few, and you can use trial and error to edit those (after double-clicking to add them to the value-editing table at the bottom in Cheat Engine), reverting them to the original value if they turn out to be the wrong ones. Alternatively, you can buy items at the market in BB and then do a «Next Scan» for the amount of decrease with «decreased value by» as the «Scan Type». Sometimes (for obscure reasons) you don’t get the right results at the first attempts and you have to do a new scan using the new amount of crowns (with «increased value» or «decreased value» as the «Scan Type», as appropriate). But it works eventually.
You can also use Cheat Engine to hack Experience Points to get everyone quickly to level 11 with all their perks, which allows you to quickly experiment (or just mess about and have fun) with different builds.

On the world map, activate the script, turn on the passage of time. When you press the numeric keypad button *, the squad teleports to a map point in the center of the screen (if there is water in the center of the screen, then water).

Check these scripts for the test. Turn on the time on the world map and try to activate «script test 1 AOB» and «script test 2 AOB». Did any work? If so, what does the line below the script show?

can activate script 1 but cannot activate script 2
script 1 seems to show coordinates but editing it a bit risky since yo don’t know where to teleport
also using * numpad key sets the float value to 1 and my men stacks in the middle of sea which is in far west of the map
edit: don’t know why i cant activate script 2 and the float value is irreguler number when moving.
edit2: i assume script 1 conrols horizontal soordinate wile scrit 2 is vertical.
edit 3: i made it work you need to chance the script 2 adree to bb211 and pointer to C
now we need working teleport

I dug this up from the thread on the old forums. It’s a groupscan command for finding (and then editing) an individual brother’s stats. Replace the [name] with the actual stat of the brother and there you go.. but it doesn’t work in the final version. We discovered in previous versions that all the stats had regular offsets from each other, which is why this command works, but now the stats either aren’t offset at regular intervals anymore or the offsets have changed making this specific groupscan command ineffective. Despite not yet figuring out the new offsets, I’ve managed to edit one of my brothers’ stats manually by stacking lots of level ups and checking each stat when I level up, but it would be nice to get a groupscan command working again.

Один из перков, Повышение уровня, так что можно наёмника прокачать сразу.
1. Копировать папку data в корневую папку игры.

Мод не мой, где скачал уже не помню.
В Notepad++ открыть файл \data\ui\screens\character\modules \character_screen_left_panel\ character_screen_left_panel_header_module.js и поменять 500 на меньше
General_AG Что нужно поменять что бы прокачивались не все 8 статов а несколько?Я имею в виду что бы при первом лвл апе прокачивались на +500 не все статы а только те которые нужны.

Altering BB’s stats with cheat engine
Overview
Mainly for the purpose of build testing.
Editing Gold/Tools/Ammo/Medicine data
First you need to add your current gold in the value box under the value type float and make the first scan.
Then go to the nearest town and sell/buy something, depending on what you did you have to change the scan type to “increased/decreased value” and do the next scan.
You should obtain the address with your current gold value, add it to the list with a double click and change the value to whatever you want.
You can do the same with tools, ammunition and medicine but not food as it depends on your inventory.
Editing character’s statistics
First you need a brother with at least 1 level up available, you can recruit one with your newfound gold or fight your way through, then you need to open 3 instances of cheat engine and imput the chosen data in each one, for instance resolve, fatigue or melee skill, and launch the first scan.
For the next scan, select “increasing the value by” your character’s growth, you should obtain something like this :
As you can see in my case, i have something like “1F188xxx” with this information i can now search the other statistics like action points or vision and modify them.
You can also change the number of perks available with this method :
Please have fun testing your builds or slaughtering goblins with your 300 PA ubermensch 🙂

Взломом данный способ называть не стоит, так как эта простая операция которая работает на большинства играх( не ОНЛАЙН играх)
2. Запускаем игру и заходим на ваше сохранение.
3. Записываем текущее значение денег
4. Запускаем Армоней. В окне ArtMoney вы должны 1 — развернуть список запущенных программ и 2 — выбрать вашу игру
5. Далее сворачиваем игру опять и в окне artmoney 1 — эмем кнопку «Искать», 2 — в открывшемся окошке вводим необходимое значение которое мы ищем.
6. После того как поиск будет завершен разворачиваем игру и немного изменяем значение(покупаем вещи)
7. Сворачиваем игру и в окошке программы artmoney жмем кнопку «Отсеять» (новое значение)
8. Как видите после того как процесс отсеивания завершен осталось всего 1 значение которое соответствует нашему количеству денег.
9. Осталось поменять количество денег например на 900000, вы можете менять на любое значение которое вам только захочется.

Добавил патч 1.5.3, теперь должно меньше ругаться на новые трейты персонажей.
ВАЖНО! СНАЧАЛА СДЕЛАЙ БЭКАП!
Позволяет редактировать хар-ки братьев, здоровье, выносливость и т.п, добавляет скилы.

Если имя вашего перса на кириллице то измените его на латиницу.
Рекомендуется перед редактированием снять все вещи с персонажа, особенно если они уникальные.
Рекомендуется не превышать значения статов больше чем 999.
После редактирования нажать Save Brother.
Разобрался, патчи надо ставить не в папку редактору, а зайти в папку редактора, оттуда в папку resources, затем в папку app. И в папку app ставить патчи с заменой. И тогда будет писаться правильная версия редактора 1.5.3 и все будет работать.
Патч не помогает, прога ругается на трейты.
1.5.3 не помог, ничего не открывается. Кстати в шапке редактора до сих пор пишет 1.4.2
Если предыстория на русском то она ломается.
То-есть если играешь в русскую версию,то прога не будет работать?
пишет что неизвесный бэкграунд.Хотя все на англ языке и у меня 3 монстробоя и мельник
Попробуй снять все вещи с братков, сохранится и потом уже этот сейв редактировать.
А может кто знает, как сделать чтобы предыстория после редактирования не превращалась в набор символов и цифр?
P.S. На счёт инвентаря не в курсе, а вот денюжка здесь элементарно прописывается через АртМани (версия посвежее) ;)))

Как лучше пользоваться ArtMoney, играю на карте прога видит первое значение когда сумму вбиваю, а потом тупо ничего не находит.

Патч редактора для Blazing Deserts на модерации, немного подождите.
Версия 1.5.2 ругается на трейты персонажей, ибо они новые, отправляю на модерацию новую версию, она уже ругается меньше.

делаю все, как написано выше, но файлы сохранений не открываются, выдается только ошибка : «Unknown trait: 6F6E0000», как это можно исправить?

Инструкция по установке трейнера
Как правильно установить трейнер?
Способ установки у всех трейнеров схож и заключается в том, чтобы поместить все файлы в дистрибутив игры, в ту же папку, где находится исполняемый файл, который и отвечает за запуск игры. Иногда найти его не так уж и просто, но если у вас на рабочем столе есть иконка, с помощью которой можно запустить игру, то вы можете воспользоваться следующим способом:
1. Нажать правой кнопкой мыши на иконку;
2. В открывшемся контекстном меню выбрать опцию «Свойства»;
3. В открывшемся окне перейти на вкладку «Ярлык» и нажать на кнопку «Расположение файла».

But yeah, so far I would recommend not getting this game if you’re only casually interested in strategy RPGs as this game is really brutal and does not really help new players get into it.
my comment was not meant to be helpful but as a remark at the dev’s advice to try an easier difficulty whereas as he should know there is none in this game. It is designed, as you wrote, to be brutal and (in my view) frustrating.
You should try it on the easier difficulty, that will get you some additional funds to work with!
There is no easy settings.
What you can get is just easier and faster start and that you can carry more supplies.
Combat is the same in all settings(just on higher difficulty you have hard time on start).
Goodness, at one point I was so bad at this game that I was asking if there were cheats.
See? There is hope for us all. And no, orcs are empathically not over-powered! 😉
i need to ask the question here. why wouldn’t you buy a game if you can’t cheat? surely that is defeating the object. you pitting your wits against the machine. surely if you know you can cheat then that takes away all the satisfaction. hmmmm.

You watch them cheat, call them out on it without making a big fuzz, they smile and denie.
It’s in the psyche of surtain individuals and it can actually help you when choosing surtain careers, like polictics, management, etc.

do you activate the script before you open the game? Or on the main screen?
I activated it after i started a campaign and i didnt get any problems. Only got to test it for 5-10 minutes! I will do more testing to see if i get any crashes when running the game for longer time
I m currently at the version 1.3.0.19 myself! i ll keep testing! if i find any crashes or if something goes wrong i ll keep posting my findings

Script: TEST_6_V2
I started lots of different campaigns! went up to day 20-25 each!
There was no crash. Everything was ok!
In Version 1.3.0.19
and Script: TEST_6 (the first one)
The only freeze i got by testing that one was when i was quiting and startning a new Lone Wolf campaign multiple times and in small amounts of time.

it seems crash only occurs when you pass the time but the game WILL NOT CRASH if you dont pass the time using pause and only enter and exit caravan, menus etc.
Edit: if you can item worth, Perk points used & available, Trait editor would be great.

Hey AlexS, your new table works, but it also has ONLY the Perk Point value, and nothing else. I think you uploaded the wrong table.

Spending 120 hours in games is fine. I mean.. I wish I had that much time as well lol.
Problem happens when developers (and gamers like Wyrtt) start acting like we all can afford to do that and games get balanced for that type of lifestyle. Challenge gets replaced with tedium.

Later, I plan to add scripts for weapon / armor properties, infinite provisions, and some hidden stats of characters. If possible.
can you make something like settlement status editor or a buying price & selling price multipler by float value (maybe to 0,75 modifiable)

Check these scripts for the test. Turn on the time on the world map and try to activate «script test 1 AOB» and «script test 2 AOB». Did any work? If so, what does the line below the script show?

can activate script 1 but cannot activate script 2
script 1 seems to show coordinates but editing it a bit risky since yo don’t know where to teleport
also using * numpad key sets the float value to 1 and my men stacks in the middle of sea which is in far west of the map
edit: don’t know why i cant activate script 2 and the float value is irreguler number when moving.
edit2: i assume script 1 conrols horizontal soordinate wile scrit 2 is vertical.
edit 3: i made it work you need to chance the script 2 adree to bb211 and pointer to C
now we need working teleport

Also, should avoid teleporting immideately after leaving settlements, otherwise you’ll take them with you every time. Althouth it’s pretty funny.

This is a test script. Activate it on the new version of the game. The value of «X» will constantly change, this is normal. Do the game as much as possible a variety of actions. I tested on Lone Wolf start and even tho i died like the noob i am, i managed to do a few things at the start like visit towns, fullfil a few quests and buy, sell and enlist brothers, but no crashes for me! Even when dieing and starting a new campaign or reloading an autosave all was well for me.
What version of the game are you on hexfaae?
i m on 1.3.0.15
(Of course i ll try to keep testing the Table with more starts to see if i can find any other crashes like the ones mentioned above.)

This is a new script «Stats».
How to use.
Activate the script on the inventory screen. In the drop-down list «>>>» select the type. Set «Act.» in the «Yes» position. Remove or put on any item of equipment (just like before). In the line «=» the value will appear, and «Act.» will switch to «No». Then you can choose another type, set the «Act.» in the «Yes» position and repeat the action.
Note.
The script has been tested and works stably on all versions of the game from very old 1.1.0.8 to 1.2.0.25. The script does not use the binding to the offset, so the performance of the script is likely to continue regardless of changes in offset in future game updates. To do this, all values are displayed one by one. This is not very convenient, but more stable.

I dug this up from the thread on the old forums. It’s a groupscan command for finding (and then editing) an individual brother’s stats. Replace the [name] with the actual stat of the brother and there you go.. but it doesn’t work in the final version. We discovered in previous versions that all the stats had regular offsets from each other, which is why this command works, but now the stats either aren’t offset at regular intervals anymore or the offsets have changed making this specific groupscan command ineffective. Despite not yet figuring out the new offsets, I’ve managed to edit one of my brothers’ stats manually by stacking lots of level ups and checking each stat when I level up, but it would be nice to get a groupscan command working again.

How to use.
On the world map, activate the script, turn on the passage of time. When you press the numeric keypad button *, the squad teleports to a map point in the center of the screen (if there is water in the center of the screen, then water).
Note. If you teleport away to another area of the map, the squad icon sometimes disappears. Click on the map so that the squad begins to move, then the icon will appear. Another way is to enable / disable CAMP.

Check these scripts for the test. Turn on the time on the world map and try to activate «script test 1 AOB» and «script test 2 AOB». Did any work? If so, what does the line below the script show?

can activate script 1 but cannot activate script 2
script 1 seems to show coordinates but editing it a bit risky since yo don’t know where to teleport
also using * numpad key sets the float value to 1 and my men stacks in the middle of sea which is in far west of the map
edit: don’t know why i cant activate script 2 and the float value is irreguler number when moving.
edit2: i assume script 1 conrols horizontal soordinate wile scrit 2 is vertical.
edit 3: i made it work you need to chance the script 2 adree to bb211 and pointer to C
now we need working teleport

Problem happens when developers (and gamers like Wyrtt) start acting like we all can afford to do that and games get balanced for that type of lifestyle. Challenge gets replaced with tedium.

Cheat engine battle brothers
Ive read a few threads about this but cant find any that detailed the way how. Id appreciate if anyone could help, all I need is to find a way to mod files to add gold.
Before the inevitable condenscending comments on how cheating is lame and the questions of why I would want to cheat. When it first released I played and it was too hard so I uninstalled and refunded. Decided to try it again when I saw there were trainers, so I could maybe enjoy the game without crushing difficulty but trainers are outdated and dont work. Before I refund this again I want to try alternate solutions to make this more accessible for someone of exceedingly low skill at the game like myself.
cheat engine is an universal memory editor to cheat in most games, should be easily and readily found in Google for download.
You’d have to open the game, load your save, alt+tab and locate what data in the cheat engine equals to money in game, and then edit that specific data value.
Can’t help you further because I’ve never tried it in battle brothers.
You can find Cheat Engine with a google search etc. When downloading it, be careful to un-tick some of the default settings that want to make some yahoo-related things your defaults.
Once you’ve installed and loaded Cheat Engine, go to File and Open Process and select Battle Brothers.
In the game, enter a settlement and go to the market. See how many crowns you currently have. Enter that amount into the search field in Cheat Engine. Change the «Value Type» to «float» (no idea what that actually signifies) and click the «First Scan» button. You may get thousands of search results, but fear not. Back in the game, sell an item to increase your amount of crowns, and then return to Cheat Engine and enter the amount by which your crowns have increased into the search field (but don’t yet click one of the scan buttons). Then change the «Scan Type» to «increased value by», and then click the «Next Scan» button. That should filter the first lot of results for ones that have since increased by the specified amount, and hopefully there’ll be just one result or only a few, and you can use trial and error to edit those (after double-clicking to add them to the value-editing table at the bottom in Cheat Engine), reverting them to the original value if they turn out to be the wrong ones. Alternatively, you can buy items at the market in BB and then do a «Next Scan» for the amount of decrease with «decreased value by» as the «Scan Type». Sometimes (for obscure reasons) you don’t get the right results at the first attempts and you have to do a new scan using the new amount of crowns (with «increased value» or «decreased value» as the «Scan Type», as appropriate). But it works eventually.
You can also use Cheat Engine to hack Experience Points to get everyone quickly to level 11 with all their perks, which allows you to quickly experiment (or just mess about and have fun) with different builds.

I want to modify the ‘Food’ value in Battle Brothers. I found the address for the displayed value but I’m unable to locate the one for the source value.
I figured I should find out what writes to the first one and progress from there. The program found one instruction. Problem is, I can’t make sense of how it works.
I’ve tried back tracing it and adding every address I could find (between []) but I haven’t been successful. Could you help me?

Probably the effective value is managed by the game in a different way and it could be a totally different value type.
By the way if you right click on the instruction in the disassembler and you click «Find out what addresses this instruction accesses» you can see which addresses the given instruction is accessing to.

Yes, I did that. Sadly it didn’t return any working address. I’m thinking the value may be inverted (like increasing when it decreases on display).
It could be also that (i don’t think it is)
Anyway remember to gain or to spend some food after freezing the value to let the game refresh the graphical address
So, I did a new scan this time with changed/unchanged values.
It came up with several addresses. Every time my food supply changes, their values also change. But, the numbers don’t make sense (see notepad in the screenshot, food value displayed is up and below are 4 bytes values for relevant addresses) and I don’t know how to change them.

на карте мира их очень трудно поймать и днем они невидимыми становятся. Лучший способ это ходить непрерывно по поселениям и отменять все квесты, что они предлагают пока не появится на альпов.
А максимальное количество врагов с первого дня как сделать? Есть скрипт? Или это входит в скрипт открытия карты?

это я мод делал. коэффициент сложности до 9 увеличил. по умолчанию на новичке 0.75, на средней сложности 1, на эксперт 1.25 вроде бы.

У редакции GameEducation, что вполне очевидно, есть вот эти все самые любимые, самые лучшие игры, которые так и хочется неистово перепроходить при каждом удобном случае. Например, под Новый год или во время заслуженных каникул/отпусков (нужное подчеркнуть). Проблема с таким рьяным переигрыванием ностальгических моментов в том, что рано или поздно ты эти моменты будешь знать посекундно, и тогда любимая игрушка превратится в успокаивающее, но полностью механическое действие.
Кому-то такой подход вполне нравится, но мы предпочитаем искать какое-то разнообразие. Именно в такие моменты на арену радостно врываются игры с процедурно генерируемым контентом, благодаря которым перепроходить их можно вечно. Сегодня мы показываем пальцы вверх гладиатору под названием Battle Brothers, в котором рандомно генерируются карты для пошагового боя.
Боевые братья используют для создания своих карт сиды – уникальные комбинации случайно выбранных символов, которые скармливаются мудреной функции генерации контента. Преимущество такого способа – возможность не забывать своих героев. Понравился сид? Скопировал, прислал другу или выложил на форум и сидишь радуешься, пока другие обкатывают полюбившуюся карту.
Чем дольше живет игра, тем больше шансов обнаружить в ней топовый сид и тем сильнее хочется собрать удобную базу своих находок. Стартуешь на юге, поселения разбросаны по всей карте, торговля ограничена. С другой стороны, это можно компенсировать хорошими статами твоей компании и развиваться с помощью квестов. Неразведанные территории – к востоку.

Начинается далеко на севере. Если решишь заняться торговлей, Арастед и Равестад обеспечат мехами и бронзой. Поселения заметно разбросаны, очень важно правильно контролировать логистику. Далеко на юге – новые торговые пути с янтарем и медью. Приключения на свою задницу опять идешь искать на восток.

Начинаешь в северо-западной части, практически отрезанной от всей остальной карты, но на другом ее конце будут отличные возможности для торговли и запас ресурсов. На западном побережье есть целая цепочка портов, а неисследованные территории, как обычно, будут на востоке.

Где найти базу сидов карт Battle Brothers по параметрам?
Это фанатский проект, абсолютно добровольный и от этого еще более впечатляющий. Выбираешь стартовые критерии карты и фракции, переходишь на новый экран с тонкой настройкой (реально тонкой настройкой, можно подкрутить статы каждого стартового юнита, элементы экономики, здания и так далее). Спустя полчаса тщательного проставления всех хотелок жмешь на кнопку “топ сиды”, и база выплевывает просто мегатонны подходящих карт.
В чем-то, наверное, это походит на прицельный поиск по борхесовской Вавилонской библиотеке, когда пытаешься выбрать из бесконечного количества комбинаций и отклонений самый правильный и найти в нем хоть какой-то смысл. Но в Вавилонскую библиотеку приходят для того, чтобы преисполниться ужаса от попыток объять необъятное, так что Battle Brothers в этом плане значительно комфортнее. 🙂
