Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Mobile is a spin-off game of the Call of Duty series and is a prequel to the main game. The game was developed by GLU Mobile and published by Activision for mobile phones and was released in 2007.
The game follows Sgt. Fairborn and his mission to seek information about Khaled Al-Asad and the conspiracy that will lead to the rise of the Ultranationalists in Russia.
The title was discontinued on September 4th, 2013.

Gameplay
Firing and Targeting
Due to its limits as a mobile game, the game is played in the third-person point of view. To fight, players must stand still while targets are automatically acquired when within firing range. Targeting icons appear on their chests and the player will be able to fire until they run out of bullets and reload.
Health Meter
Instead of a screen getting red, a green ring surrounds the player’s sprite, this starts turning black once they start taking too many hits. If all squares turn black, the soldier will die and the mission will be restarted. Health is automatically regenerated at all times, so sandbags and other structures are given to give the player a place to rest before engaging in battle again.
Melee Attack
When in close range to enemies, players are still able to press a button to perform a close-range melee attack, this includes the soldier tripping the enemy and shooting at them as they fall down. The game states this as a powerful attack, but is best used against single enemies that are unaware of the player, although in some cases, enemies get courageous enough to run up to the player and force them to use melee.
Scoring
Players earn a high score and a best time for each mission of the game, the score breaks down as follows: each enemy killed is worth 100 points, each friendly that survives is 100 points, each object destroyed is 100 points. These values are then added up, but failing to finish the mission in ten minutes will cause a game over.
Cover
Covering barricades are populated throughout the game world. Many of the objects can be used as cover, including barricades and wrecked cars. By simply running into an object in the world the player’s soldier automatically crouch, and will be protected from enemy fire. Pressing the fire button will cause the soldier to fire from cover and holding the run key towards the direction of the barricade will cause the soldier to vault over it.
Act I
Mission 1: City Limits
Sergeant Fairborn is sent on a mission to extract Captain Garcia’s squad whose chopper was shot down in an undisclosed battlefield. On his way he met fellow soldier named Private Stevens who accompanies him on the search. As they proceed further, they find another survivor named Tasker, Steven then remarks how «Intel» was wrong in providing them information about the militants in the area. The group reaches the main roadway, the primary territory of the militants which is also the only way to head north towards Captain Garcia.
Sergeant Fairborn battles his way in search of Capt. Garcia’s squad, on the way, an excited Tasker rushes ahead, only to be blown up by a burning car. They remaining two then proceed towards the end of the road, taking out duos of enemies with their grenades and guns. At the end of the road, they meet heavy resistance but then Captain Garcia’s squad ambushes the hostiles from behind, saving the two. The Captain remarks how few their extractors are and how close his squad was from being completely wiped out. Fairborn then explains the mystery of the militants’ anticipation of their planned extraction while Stevens urges everyone to trudge on.
Mission 3: Civilian Town
Captain Garcia suspects that the radio towers might have something to do with the militant’s advantage and orders Sgt. Fairborn to destroy them. He sends two of his squad to accompany Fairborn and Stevens to take out the five towers by way of using C4 on their stands. After destroying all five radio towers, they regroup and Private Stevens hands over documents that he found about civilian cover and foreign notes that weren’t in Arabic leaving them to wonder what is going on.
Act II
Sergeant Barrows of the S.A.S. is dispatched to eliminate Ultranationalist forces on the east side of town and then regroup with Terasov on the north. After the player fights off the straggling enemies one by one he joins Terasov in fighting off hostiles converging from the north, west and east. A tank starts rolling in from the north, and a retaliating Terasov is wounded trying to take it out. Barrows then picks up the bazooka from his fallen comrade and destroys the tank. Sergeant Waters from outside of town then calls for a regroup.
Mission 5: Ultranationalist Town
Barrows stealthily infiltrates a town that is crawling with enemies with each building even having an alarm system. Waters warns Barrows to kill anyone he sees that is fleeing to an alarm panel or else, tons of enemy ground forces will overwhelm him. Barrows takes down enemies silently with close-range melee attacks. After reaching the end, Sergeant Waters informs Barrows of enemies that have spotted members of their squad. Barrows, with his location unknown to the enemy, moves in for an ambush to save Captain Doyle.
Mission 6: Facility
Sergeant Barrows comes to the rescue of Capt. Doyle who is held captive inside an Ultranationalist facility. Barrows reaches Doyle and it seems that Doyle has taken shrapnel to the left leg and will have to be slow but will still be able to fire a gun. As they move to leave, Terasov joins them to help. They fight their way back out, but the worst was yet to come.
Mission 7:Ultranationalist Town
The squad fights their way through to the south of the war-torn town with an objective to keep Captain Doyle alive. Tersov has left surprises for the Russians in the form of mines, although this helps them at times, this also blocks their way when these leave massive fireballs that force them to take other ways around. Once they reach safety, Captain Doyle mentions overhearing his captors talk to a contact in the Middle East, a disturbing new ally named Khaled Al-Asad.
Act III
Mission 8: Hostile Town
Sergeant Fairborn and his squad are tasked to escort a tank through the battlefield. They are advised not to stray too far ahead or they will be killed by the enemies that are out of the tank’s range. On their way, they meet Russian forces that flee at the sight of the tank. Garcia orders to run after them while someone tells their base about this recent turn of events. As they run through the town, they engage in more firefights against both Militants and Russians working together and advance further into enemy territory.
Mission 9: Al-Asad Territory
Sergeant Fairborn, along with Captain Garcia and Private Stevens proceed on a search to find Khaled Al-Asad. They battle their way while destroying tanks in the area. As they reach the compound, they get ambushed by more militants forces and find out that the target is not in the area. They evacuate and head south for exfil, but they find their helicopter destroyed. They take their last stand against the militants. The game ends with their defeat and the story continues in the main game.

Characters
In Training, the player takes control of Sgt. Patrick O’ Neil in a hangar, and with the help of three SAS instructors, completes training before being deployed into the field. The player will first learn how to fire a MP5 and an M9, then learning how to throw/cook grenades and flashbangs. He will then run an obstacle course with wooden targets popping up every so often. Completing the course under 25 seconds will allow the player to run the course again, or head outside the now open hangar doors, which will end the level.
Walkthrough
After having a mission briefing with the player’s superior officer, the player will have to go to the firing range and practice with a MP5, M9, Flashbangs and M67 Fragmentation Grenades. Pickup the MP5 and shoot the targets while standing, crouched, from the hip, and down the sights. Then pickup the M9 and switch to the player’s MP5. Switch to the M9 and switch back. Proceed to acquire the fragmentation grenades and throw one at the tank in the back. Do the same with the flashbang. Once the player is done, the player will then have to run the course. The recommended weapon is the AA-12 as it is fully automatic and has plenty of ammo. (Note: You will require the weapon room. Go in and pick up the AA-12, then run the course)
The Course
When the player heads into the room on the left, the course instructor will give the player a countdown from three before saying «Go!»
Room 1
After the countdown is over, walk through the door.
Target 1 is at a 45 degree angle to the right as the player walks in.
Target 2 is in the doorway straight ahead.
Room 2
Walk through the door Target 2 was in.
Target 3 is behind a barricade in a doorway directly to the right through the doorway.
Target 4 is around the corner and at a 45 degree angle to the left.
Targets 5 and 6 are in windows through to Room 3.
Room 3
Target 7 is in a doorway across the room from where the player enters.
Target 8 is in a crate next to a doorway on the wall to the left of where the player enters.
Target 9 is in the doorway next to the crate.
Room 4
Room 4 has no targets in it, walk straight through to Room 5.
Room 5
Target 10 is behind a desk directly in front of the player as the player walks into the room.
Target 11 is up on the catwalks, in the door directly behind Target 10 as the player enters the room.
Target 12 is along the catwalks, in the second door.
Target 13 is behind more desks to the player’s left, if the player is facing the exit doorway.
After the player clears all the rooms, the instructor will say one of three things.
After this, the player has a choice of running the course again or leaving through the hanger door.
Weapons Room
The weapons room is only unlocked after a kill with every weapon in the game. (The only weapons not available to the player are the RPG-7 and the Javelin)

Satellite Syncing
This mini-game is based on the mission «Closing In». In this mini-game, the player must put the chips back into the socket, in order to sync satellites. The pins have to line up or the «Failure» message will appear. Hold down the satellites until the dot on the matching path is at the arrow. Next, put the cameras on the red square before they leave the screen.
Nuke Disarming
This mini-game is the one from the last level in the game. First, scan the nuke. Then slide the four locks, and cut the wires of the active circuit. Open the circuit by unscrewing the screws. Tap each chip three times.
Hacking Laptops
The only thing to do in this mini-game is to put in 1-2-3 then 4-5-6, and so on. The code is always randomized. The lights do not correspond to the places of the numbers. Grey means the number is wrong, yellow means that a number is correct but in the wrong position, and green means that a number is in its correct position. The player may keep trying until they get the correct code.

If you’re a Modern Warfare nut and will be away from your console for a weekend, n-Space’s Mobilized is your only option for a Call of Duty fix. Playing as U.S. and British forces, you’ll fight through a unique campaign not found in the console versions. The core shooting experience is peppered with turret sequences, air strikes, tank runs, decrypting minigames, Javelin missile blasts, boat rides, and satellite targeting. With the notable exception of the terrible stealth RC robot sections, these entertaining breaks provide a nice variety of gameplay.
The primary shooting mechanic, however, has problems. Key COD features like ironsights and crouching require clunky double taps to account for button limitations. I wish they just canned the ironsights altogether and made shots from the hip more accurate so you wouldn’t have to deal with the workarounds. Your character has less health than the console soldiers as well, so dying comes quickly. Mix this with poorly placed checkpoints and trial and error scenarios, and it makes you extremely cautious. By the end of the game I was reduced to slowly peeking out from behind boxes with my sights to pick off one soldier at a time.
The smart player will try to trip the invisible line that makes your invincible squadmates run forward into battle to thin out the ranks while you pick off the stragglers. They’re not always helpful, though. Once I caught one soldier endlessly shooting a wall with no enemies anywhere. Another time they refused to kick open a door I had to get through. More often they’ll push you through a doorway into a hail of bullets if you don’t keep off of their predetermined paths.
The six-player local multiplayer and Wi-Fi versus modes are impressive DS features. Eight maps and a variety of standard team and solo match types scratches the multiplayer itch. While there’s no robust perk system, you can unlock new weapons as your kill count rises. Online play took a while to start up in our tests, but once the battles began things ran smoothly. It’s best to play locally or from your friends list, however, because strangers eventually drop out and you’ll be stuck at the plodding matchmaking screen again.
The four unlockable modes might keep hardcore fans coming back, but I didn’t find much reason to stick around. Challenge and Arcade modes are rewrapped campaign levels, and the Minigame mode features puzzles you’ve already found the solution to in the campaign. Survival keeps you on your toes, but you have to beat the game on hard or enter a pesky code every time to access it. Like Mobilized overall, the reward just isn’t worth the effort.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized features the same first-person shooter gameplay found in its predecessors, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: World at War. Mobilized includes new weapons and vehicles, new mini-games such as hacking computer terminals, and taking control of UAV spy drones and an AC-130 gunship.
Mobilized also features a six-person online multiplayer mode, including new features of games like Sabotage, where players fight to bring a bomb to opposing bases, also a Survival mode in which players must fend off waves of enemies at once, and Arcade mode, where players must complete the single-player campaign in a set time limit for points and unlockable achievements.
Mobilized has a new interface, improved controls and mobility. The AI was also improved, enemies take cover, they can charge with shotguns, pull back when the player enters the room, throw grenades, etc.

I think we should keep the M67 on the list until the game comes out or a new screenshot, or video comes out confirming if it is the M67, or the M61, the symbol for the grenade is an M61 but the actual grenade could be an M67. General Cod1 Talk 1:51, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
Trivia
M1911 and Dragunov
Whoever can confirm that the M1911 and the Drgaunov are in the game, please create a section on their weapon pages that prove they appear in game. I have played through the entire single player campain (But not wi-fi), and haven’t seen them.
I know that they don’t have the Dragunov in the game, the only sniper rifle they have is the M80 (or something like that). They don’t have the M1911, but they have the USP and M9.

Hey for the multiplayer on the game (specifically Wi-Fi), I can’t seem to unlock anymore weapons. Is the list for how many kills right, because I only unlocked the M4 on the Coalition side, but I’ve passed 100 on Coalition, and haven’t received the AA-12? (Restarted my game, haven’t tried again)

DS Download Play
I fixed it. And no, you cannot use DS download play on Mobilized. Only in cod4, tough it is a pretty limited multiplayer: 2 maps, 1 primary and 1 secondary: it gets repetitive and boring after a while 🙁 RC95 12:05, September 23, 2010 (UTC)

The controls here aren’t for everybody. Those gamers that love to gripe about dual-analog controllers ruining shooters for the keyboard and mouse crowd thanks to their less than precise aiming should stay far away from Mobilized. You can play either right-handed or left, using the D-pad or the face buttons respectively to manage where you move. The triggers are used for shooting or tossing grenades, and the touch pad handles the rest. Drag the stylus to the right and the camera will follow. Swapping weapon or grenade types, activating switches, or aiming down the sites are all done by tapping buttons on the touch pad. It’s a technically proficient system, but it does require you to hold the DS with your off hand and then lean on it a little with the other. It’s an odd posture that left me with a sore wrist after my first play session. And, of course, it doesn’t offer the most precision or speed. That left me feeling sour about dying with blame laid on the control more often than not. It isn’t a rare occurrence at all to see the enemy and try to aim at him, but not get your shot sighted and fired before he takes you down.
But if you played last year’s Call of Duty: World at War, also by developer N-Space, then you’ll be right at home with the look and feel of Mobilized. The design follows the same play book, save for a change in scenery and plot. You take on the roles of the British and American special forces on a quest around the modern-day world to track down a missing nuclear weapon. The emphasis is on standard first-person shooting, but in classic Call of Duty fashion that isn’t the only thing to keep you interested. Manning turrets, rolling tanks through war-torn streets, piloting unmanned spy planes, hacking into consoles, planting tactical C4 and much more are all in a day’s work.
There’s a heck of a lot of content to go around in Mobilized. There was no skimping on making a lengthy game, you can go back and replay any again once you’ve passed them once, and there’s even an extra challenge mode to eat up more of your time. I do wish that a little more time was taken to make every level memorable, even if it came at the expense of axing a few levels. Mobilized does a good job of mixing up the action, but it also falls back on old tricks a little too often.
The audio too is another technical high point. Like past Call of Duty games on DS, there is a whole lot of voice acting here and it’s all about as high-quality as you could hope for. My only real gripe is the awful death call enemies make as they fall to the ground. It’s the same sound every time and it definitely could use some variation.
After you’ve had your fill with the campaign and challenges, there’s still a multiplayer mode to keep you busy. Gather five friends (and five additional copies of the game) and you can face off in a test of DS first-person shooting skills. You can play over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection online service, but the experience isn’t nearly as good as when you play locally. There’s no voice chat and the lobby system is pretty bare bones, not to mention that the critical mass of people playing online is unlikely to ever be reached. Finding an online match will be difficult.
Local play can be a lot of fun if you get the right crowd together. There are a handful of maps, as well as the standard game varieties including deathmatch, capture the flag, capture and hold, hunter/prey, and the team-based sabotage where one group defends a point that the other is attacking. The feature set is about what you’d expect out of a mid-level console game, which is pretty darn good for a handheld.

Modern Warfare is a sub-series of the Call of Duty franchise from Activision. Modern Warfare was created by Infinity Ward, and currently consists of four games, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was released on November 5, 2007, being the first installment of the Call of Duty series set outside of World War II. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released on November 10, 2009. Treyarch developed a Nintendo Wii port for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, known as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex and released it on November 10, 2009. Raven Software developed the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, a remaster of the original Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The game is playable in PS4 for early release of for PS4, as the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Legacy, in the PlayStation Network and Store. The reboot Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was revealed on May 30, 2019 and was released on October 25, 2019.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was released on November 8, 2011 and sold over 9 million copies on release day. It’s the only installment in the trilogy that doesn’t have a bonus mission. Sledgehammer Games helped Infinity Ward with the single player, while Raven Software worked on the multiplayer.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
In 2011, a Russian Ultranationalist by the name of Imran Zakhaev is determined to return his homeland to the Soviet times. Zakhaev knows the United States of America would never allow this to happen, thus he funds a coup in the Middle East, organized by his ally Khaled Al-Asad, to draw public attention to the Middle East instead of Russia.
In the Prologue missions, players take the role of Sergeant John «Soap» MacTavish in his initiation into the SAS. The players will meet the members of the SAS squad and go through a basic tutorial of the game play, which includes a basic shooting range and a time trial in a mock cargo ship set up. The player will then proceed on a mission to intercept the real cargo ship in the Bering Strait alongside Captain Price and Gaz. In the cargo hold, the SAS team finds a nuclear warhead draped in a flag with Arabic writing. The ship is subsequently attacked by MiGs, with the SAS team barely escaping from the sinking ship. Players then switch roles with President Al-Fulani of an unknown Middle Eastern country as he is executed by Al-Asad.
In Act 1, MacTavish, Captain Price and Gaz rescue a Russian informant code-named «Nikolai». They are supported by Russian Loyalists led by Sgt. Kamarov. While escaping with Nikolai, their helicopter is shot down, and they flee from Ultranationalist search teams. Later on, the player takes control of the gunner of an AC-130H Spectre gunship that provides fire support for Captain Price and the surviving SAS members. Meanwhile, in the Middle East, Sergeant Paul Jackson, Lieutenant Vasquez and Staff Sergeant Griggs fight their way to the capital city of the country Al-Fulani was executed in. They first attack a television studio where they believe Al-Asad is broadcasting, but it turns out to be a recording. They then rescue a stranded Abrams tank called War Pig. Their efforts culminate in a massive assault upon the capital. However, a nuclear weapon is detonated, killing Jackson, Vasquez and 30,000 Marines. Griggs was not present during the detonation.
In Act 2, MacTavish is tasked with finding and capturing Al-Asad in his safehouse in Azerbaijan. However, when it is found out that Zakhaev is supplying Al-Asad, Al-Asad is executed by Price. There is then a flashback mission where Captain MacMillan, a sniper team leader, and then Lieutenant Price are sent in to the first assassination mission issued by the British government since World War II. Their target is Zakhaev, then a rich Ultranationalist and arms dealer. They crawl through the countryside in ghillie suits, silently sniping enemy patrols or letting them go, until they reach an abandoned hotel where they get a clear view of Zakhaev exchanging nuclear rods for weapons. He is shot by Price, but only his arm is lost. Price and MacMillan, who gets his legs injured when a helicopter crashes, then contact an evacuation chopper and escape. Back in the present, the squad evacuates from the town on the Sea Knight «Big Bird», which has Griggs on it. Then, Soap and his SAS team, Griggs’ Marine squad and Sgt. Kamarov’s Russian Loyalists attempt to capture Victor Zakhaev, Imran Zakhaev’s son for information. However, just when the strike force corners Victor, he commits suicide by shooting himself in the head to avoid capture.
In the Epilogue, a bonus mission can be played titled, «Mile High Club». This bonus mission is seemingly unrelated to the plot. In it, the player takes the role of an unnamed Task Force 141 member, and must make his way through a terrorist-infested double decker airliner, while safely securing a hostage VIP.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set five years after the conclusion of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Despite the efforts of the Marines and the SAS, the Ultranationalists seize control of Russia and enshrine Imran Zakhaev, the deceased leader of the Ultranationalists, a hero and martyr. Meanwhile, Vladimir Makarov, one of Zakhaev’s former lieutenants, begins a reign of terror against Europe by staging numerous terrorist attacks.
The game begins in Afghanistan, where US Army Ranger PFC. Joseph Allen of 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment participates in an operation to retake an Afghan city from local militia. Impressed, General Shepherd recruits Allen as a CIA operative and places him in Makarov’s organization as an undercover operative. Meanwhile, SAS Captain John «Soap» MacTavish and SAS Sergeant Gary «Roach» Sanderson, operating under Shepherd’s special ops team Task Force 141, infiltrate a Russian airbase to recover an American ACS module. Allen then participates with Makarov in a terrorist attack on a Russian airport. However, Makarov is somehow aware that Allen is an undercover CIA agent, and kills Allen before fleeing the airport. The terrorist attack was made to look as if done by Americans as Makarov and his squad speak English and use NATO weapons (i.e. M4A1 and M240). Allen’s body is left behind for the Russians to find, which will be identified as American.
Angered by what they believe is an American-supported terrorist attack, Russia initiates a surprise invasion of the United States East Coast. The 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Sergeant Foley, Corporal Dunn, and Allen’s replacement Private James Ramirez are called upon to defend Virginia and Washington D.C. from the Russian attack. Meanwhile, Task Force 141 now shifts their attention to Makarov. They go to Rio de Janeiro to investigate an alleged contact of Makarov, Alejandro Rojas. After capturing and interrogating Rojas, the Task Force discovers that one of Makarov’s most hated enemies, known as Prisoner 627, is being held in a Russian gulag. However, the Russian invasion of the US has cut off aerial support for Task Force 141, leaving them stranded in Brazil. Nikolai is enlisted by Soap to extract Task Force 141 from Rio de Janeiro. Nikolai, piloting a Pave Low, manages to rescue Task Force 141 from the Favela gangs.
The electromagnetic pulse cripples both the United States and Russian forces in the city. Helicopters and other aircraft crash to earth, and Sergeant Foley and his squad discover that the Air Force has orders to carpet bomb Washington, D.C., as the United States military believes that the city has been lost to Russian control. The only way to abort the operation is to set off green flares on the roof of the White House, which is still occupied by Russian forces, to signal that the friendly American forces have control of the city. Foley and his squad fight their way to the roof the White House and manage to set off their flares just as the bombers arrive, while green flares on the roofs of other D.C. landmarks signifies that the city remains firmly in American hands. Foley and the rest of the Rangers vow to take the fight to the Russians, burning down their capital just as they did to Washington DC. However, Makarov is still on the loose. General Shepherd informs Task Force 141 that Makarov has two possible safe havens and orders them to split up and to secure both locations simultaneously. Soap and Price go to the aircraft scrapyards in Afghanistan, whilst Roach and Ghost raid Makarov’s safehouse in the Caucasus Mountains. It is revealed to be a trap, but Task Force 141 fights their way through the safehouse and obtain vital intelligence to put an end to him for good. However, General Shepherd betrays them and kills both SAS Task Force 141 soldiers Ghost and Roach. He intends to take advantage of the crisis to become an American war hero and secure the support of the American population. Price and Soap manage to escape Shepherd’s ambush, fighting both a new enemy, known as Shadow Company, and the last of the Ultranationalist forces at the same time, in the middle of a two-way battlefield. They convince Makarov to reveal Shepherd’s location to them. In Afghanistan, Soap and Price decide to take revenge on him in one final, bloody suicide mission. They attack his base there, but he escapes on a boat. They chase him on a boat down an Afghan river and through some caves, guarded by OpFor, who are also engaging Shadow Company. Price shoots down the helicopter Shepherd tried to escape in, but he and Soap fall down a waterfall. The heavily wounded Soap stumbles through the crash site and chases Shepherd, attempting to stab him. The attempt fails and Shepherd stabs Soap. Shepherd eventually prepares to execute Soap, but Price tackles Shepherd at the last second. As Soap lays dying, Shepherd and Price fight. By ripping the knife out of his own chest, Soap manages to kill Shepherd by throwing it, hitting Shepherd’s left eye.
Nikolai then arrives to extract them. Price warns Nikolai that they will be international fugitives for what they have done, but Nikolai insists he knows a safe place to take them.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
On August 17, 2016, hours after killing General Shepherd, John Price and Nikolai evacuate a dying John «Soap» MacTavish from Site Hotel Bravo, Afghanistan. They reach a safehouse run by Nikolai’s Loyalist allies in Himachal Pradesh, India. While Soap receives medical attention, Vladimir Makarov’s forces storm the safehouse in an attempt to kill the three. Yuri, Nikolai’s best soldier with a grudge against Makarov, aids Price in giving Soap an adrenaline shot to keep his heart going, and with securing a safe route to an extraction point out of the country. Together, the four are all that remains of the now-disavowed Task Force 141. Price’s team then goes into hiding for two months, while Makarov does the same.
On the same day, World War III continues. The actions of Delta Force Metal Team, which includes Sgt. Derek «Frost» Westbrook, Grinch, Truck and their C.O. Sandman (with whom Soap, Price, and Ghost previously worked together with on Operation Kingfish three years ago), facilitates the Russian army’s withdrawal from the invasion of Lower Manhattan, New York. They start by destroying a jamming tower on top of the New York Stock Exchange, then with hijacking a Russian Oscar II submarine in the East River, in order to use its ordinance against its own fleet.
On October 3, 2016, Russian President Boris Vorshevsky announces plans to make peace with the United States at a summit in Hamburg, Germany. However, the plan is derailed when Makarov’s men hijack Vorshevsky’s plane and force it into a crash landing at the airport. F.S.O. Agent Andrei Harkov attempts to secure Vorshevsky’s safety, but is killed when Makarov appears inside what the F.S.O. mistake as the evac chopper. Makarov kidnaps the President, and plans to capture and torture his daughter, Alena, to force the President to give Makarov the launch codes for the Russian nuclear arsenal.
The chemical attacks pave the way for the Russian Army to invade Europe, and Team Metal is deployed to Hamburg to rescue the U.S. Vice President from a hostage situation. Acting on intelligence supplied by Price, who had extracted it from a warlord in Somalia named Waraabe, they are later deployed to Paris in order to capture Russian bomb maker Volk.
After securing Volk, they fight their way through the city to an extraction point with the help of an AC-130 gunship; however, the Eiffel Tower collapses into the river after a bombing run eliminates all Russian forces at the escape point. After extracting information from Volk, Team Metal learns of Makarov’s current location; the Hotel Lustig in Prague, where Makarov is about to call a meeting with his top advisors. Sandman informs Price of this information, and Price’s team infiltrates the locked-down city.
Once in Prague, Task Force 141 meets up with Loyalist Kamarov, now the leader of the local resistance, to try to assassinate Makarov. Yuri and Soap take sniping positions from a church tower across from the hotel, while Price sneaks into the building itself. However, the plan goes awry when Kamarov himself is taken hostage and rigged with explosives. Price escapes the hotel just as Kamarov is blown up. Makarov reveals that he knows Yuri personally, by acknowledging him as his «friend». Makarov had already predicted Yuri and Soap’s overwatch spot and had it rigged with explosives, which he then detonates. Soap then pushes Yuri off the ledge to avoid the explosion but as soon as Soap jumps out, he was caught in the explosion and is mortally wounded due to the height he fell from the tower and a large chuck of debris falling on him, the force of the ordeal causing his knife wound from Shepherd stabbing him to reopen. Yuri, shell-shocked, watches on until Price comes to remove the debris from Soap, he then helps Yuri to his feet and shoots his way through Makarov’s men while Yuri carried Soap, Yuri then shoots his way through Makarovs men while Price held onto Soap and they manage to escape to a resistance safehouse. In his last moments, Soap tells Price about Makarov’s knowledge of Yuri before dying from blood loss. Price is devastated, he places his M1911 pistol on Soap’s body and takes his journal and dog tag, BTRs then fire at the safehouse, Price and Yuri head to the end of the house as Yuri opens the door leading to the basement, only to fall down the whole staircase after an enraged Price punches him and holds him at gunpoint, demanding him to explain his connection with Makarov.
Yuri explains that he was a former Ultranationalist who befriended Makarov, and was responsible for escorting Imran Zakhaev with Makarov after he was shot by Lieutenant Price in 1996 during his arms deal. Yuri was also with Makarov when the latter detonated the nuclear bomb in the Middle East, killing 30,000 of Shepherd’s Marines. After witnessing the nuclear explosion, and Makarov’s reaction, Yuri attempted to stop the massacre at Zakhaev International Airport five years later by alerting the FSB there. However, Yuri was found out, and was restrained and shot in the stomach by Makarov himself before the attack started. Yuri’s guilt of being unable to prevent the mass murder convinces Price that they are fighting for the same thing, and Price decides to keep his alliance with Yuri.
After infiltrating Makarov’s castle near Prague and learning of Vorshevsky’s captivity, Price and Yuri alert Team Metal of an Ultranationalist plan to abduct Alena from a safehouse in Berlin. Team Metal is unable to prevent the kidnapping, but they are able to trace Makarov’s Ultranationalists to a Siberian diamond mine. Team Metal (without the inclusion of Frost) and Task Force 141 launch a joint-rescue operation to save the Vorshevskys before Makarov gains the nuclear launch codes. Their actions ensure the safety of President Vorshevsky and Alena, and end the conflict between the United States and Russia. During extraction, Sandman, Grinch, and Truck stay behind to buy the evacuation chopper some time, and are killed in action when the mine collapses on them.

Mobilized also features a six-person online multiplayer mode including new game modes like Sabotage, where players fight to bring a bomb to opposing bases, a survival mode in which players must fend off waves of enemies at once, and an arcade mode, where players must complete the single-player campaign in a set time limit for points and unlockable achievements. Mobilized has a new interface, improved controls and mobility. The AI was also improved, enemies take cover, they can charge with shotguns, pull back when the player enters the room, throw grenades, etc. [3]
Mobilized does not follow the same storyline as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Like the previous Nintendo DS Call of Duty games, the storyline serves as a «companion narrative» to the console and PC versions.
The game is set in an alternate reality, five years after Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Ruler Prince Farhad has left the country due to the Ultranationalists. In the middle of this, he decides to purchase a nuclear device to use against them. The Gopher Squad of the SAS and the Warthog Squad of the U.S. Marine Corps quickly work together to prevent the construction and activation of the nuclear device. The nuke is discovered to be supplied by Colonel Ayala, who Sgt. O’ Neil and Gopher Squad are ordered to capture. They enter his compound, only to discover that he was killed. Info is extracted from his computer which leads the SAS to a weapons factory in the north. The factory is then infiltrated and explosive charges are planted on the factory’s supports. Gopher Squad escapes the factory, only to discover the nuke has been transported away. [4]
When the tanks are heavily damaged, Gopher Squad leaves on foot, to Al-Baq’s location. They fight their way to an enemy supply area, where they rest there, and continue to his location. When Al-Baq is secured, he reveals the location of the nuke, an oil rig off the coast of an unnamed city. The USMC send in a helicopter to transport Warthog Squad to the city, where they will fight their way to the shore to acquire a boat, as approach by air is too dangerous. Warthog arrives at the oil rig, where they fight their way to the top, only to see a helicopter departing with the nuke. The helicopter is then tracked to a Russian power plant, where an AC-130 gunship protects the advancing Gopher Squad from above. Gopher Squad fights their way to the inside of the power plant, only to find that the nuke is armed. However, Sgt. O’Neil manages to deactivate the nuke, protecting all of Russia. Prince Farhad escapes the power plant, prompting a questionable invasion of Farhad’s country. [4]

This game mode type includes a set of fast-paced objective-driven missions based off from sections featured in campaign levels or even taking place in some multiplayer maps, which can be completed either Solo or Co-op, like in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
After successfully completing a mission, up to 3 Stars will be awarded depending on the players’ performance during gameplay or by completing in a specific difficulty. However, if a mission is failed instead, they will be forced to start over since there are no checkpoints available in order to restart a level.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
In Modern Warfare 3, Missions functions in exactly the same gameplaywise as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2‘s Special Ops missions. However, The player must now select his/her desired difficulty before starting a mission. It can be played either solo or with another player online, local game or Split-Screen.
There are 3 difficulties available to choose: Regular, Hardened and Veteran, which are just as the same as Campaign in terms of gameplay. Completing these missions on a specific difficulty rewards Stars and Experience points, which can be used to level up to unlock the next tier of missions or armory items for Survival Mode. Regular difficulty is worth one star, Hardened difficulty is worth two stars and Veteran difficulty is worth three stars. Various achievements/trophies can be obtained once the player has reached a determined amount of stars.

«Test your skills on the obstacle course.«
To get three stars, the player must complete the course under 28 seconds and not hit any civilians. To get two stars, the player must complete the course under 40 seconds.
Milehigh Jack
«Capture President Vorschevsky for Makarov by hijacking his plane.«
The player starts with an AK-47 and a Five Seven by breaching the door in slow motion. After clearing the cargo room at the beginning, the player will proceed to the command room. There will be few enemies there. The player will then go to the large conference room, during which the cockpit of the plane will be breached and the plane will tilt, temporarily stunning enemies. The player should then proceed to the second floor, and after the player clears this floor, the player will proceed to doing another slow motion breach in the conference room. However, the player must not shoot President Boris Vorshevsky, who is crouching behind the table. After killing the enemies inside the room, including Commander Leonid Pudovkin and several more that enter after popping a Flashbang, the player must go to the President and hold the ‘action’ button on him, finishing the mission. If the president is killed in any way, the mission fails.
The amount of stars depends on the difficulty the level is completed on. The player’s score will also be modified by the player’s accuracy, which will appear under the timer. However, it has no effect on the stars.
Over Reactor
«Stop the Russian submarine from having a nuclear meltdown.«
The player will start this mission on a helicopter flying towards a Russian nuclear submarine. The starting weapons are an MP7 with Red Dot Sight and an AA-12. After landing, the player will need to kill two enemies and then disable thermite on the submarine entry. After disabling the thermite, the player must go into the submarine and stop the meltdown while fighting various enemies with laser sights on their weapons. After stopping the meltdown the player has to exit the submarine and fight a few enemies that will spawn in a smoke screen. Upon killing them and getting to the extraction point the mission is complete. If the player runs away into a restricted zone, the mission fails.
The amount of stars depends on the difficulty the level is completed on. The player’s score will also be modified by the player’s timer. However, it has no effect on the stars.
Hit and Run
«Local strongmen are holding our embassy staff for ransom. We don’t negotiate with terrorists.«
In this mission, the player must eliminate first 2 targets. The 1st target is on the rooftop and the other is in the warehouse near the shipwreck. After, the player must eliminate the enemies.
When 1st and 2nd Little Birds arrive on the scene, shoot them down as quickly as possible. After eliminating targets, the player must find the hostages hiding in the container. After freeing them, the player must repel African Militia running to your position.
When the 3rd Little Bird arrives, the player should destroy it as quickly as possible. Then the position must be held for 30 seconds until the Black Hawk arrives. If the player runs away into a restricted zone, the mission fails.
Tier 2
Toxic Paradise
«Collect samples of a deadly nerve agent in a Juggernaut suit.«
The player starts near the catacomb entrance in a Juggernaut suit with a PKP Pecheneg with a red dot sight and a M320 GLM. The player can also occasionally throw air support markers which calls in AC130 support for a few seconds on that area. Enemy presence is substantial, each section having more than ten enemies. The players must collect six samples of the chemical weapon, each marked with the white objective marker. Collecting the sample takes a few seconds, during which time the player can not move or use their weapons.
The first two samples are located on the first section of the mission. One is located on the left side of the plaza, and the other is located right to the magazine stand. The third sample is located in front of the store. There is also an armored car behind the barricade, defending the sample. The fourth sample is behind the magazine stand in the opening.
After the player comes out of the restaurant kitchen, two enemies appear, the other being a Juggernaut.
The final two samples are in the library. The other is upstairs right of the stairs and the other next to the doorway where the player proceeds. As the player goes on to the roof for extract, multiple Riot Shield enemies appear in the building. When the player jumps down to the lower roof, the mission ends.
Firewall
«Hack into enemy security sentries and reach the subway in time.«
This mission must be played cooperatively with two players. The other player is on the ground must get to the subway area, and the other one is controlling Sentry Guns (with thermal vision) scattered across the mission (two in each section; the player can switch between them with ‘switch weapon’ button) to cover the player and kill enemies before he can proceed. The game asks which player controls the sentries before the mission starts. The mission is also timed, with four minute limit. The player on the ground is given a silenced MP5 w/ Holographic Sight and a silenced SPAS-12.
Once the mission starts, the player controlling the sentries should kill the first group of enemies in front of him («Alley»). As they are killed, he should switch to the other sentry («Warehouse Entrance») and kill the enemies behind the corner. The player on foot can then proceed to use the first laptop.
As the laptop is used and the door opens, the player on the sentry automatically switches view to the inside of the warehouse («Warehouse Interior») and should kill the enemies inside as quickly as possible. After the player goes on, a few more enemies come through the same doorway. After they are killed, the sentry should switch views to kill the enemies that come down the stairs from the next part («Warehouse Windows»). After they are killed, the player should proceed upstairs. A few enemies come behind the player, so the sentry should kill them. Upstairs, the player must kill the two enemies himself as the sentry does not reach there. Another laptop is located there.
As the laptop is used, the views switch. The sentry should now destroy the three Little Birds that come in, and cover the player («Dock Yard») who must break the window and slide down. After the dock yard is clear, the sentry should switch views («Gate») and take care of enemies there. Next to the laptop there are a few enemies the sentry cannot reach, so the player must be cautious.
Once the laptop is used, the player gets to the final area before the mission ends. However, there are lots of enemies here, so the sentry should kill them from both views before the player proceeds. There is also another Little Bird which the sentry should destroy. As the player goes on, more enemies spawn.
Once the player gets to the green smoke and slides down, the mission ends.
Fatal Extraction
«Intercept enemy intel to locate and eliminate the high value target.«
The player starts in the church with an M4A1 w/ Hybrid Sight and a Five Seven. The player is offered multiple weapons, including other assault rifles and an RSASS. The player also has Semtex grenades.
Once the player goes outside, the mission starts and multiple enemies start firing at the player. There are also hyenas that assault the player and seven Sentry Guns throughout the mission. As the player kills enemies, some of them drop intel. The player’s objective is to collect five of these intel pieces.
The first area includes three intel pieces. The other two intel pieces are in the large hangar (near identical to the one in Pipeline).
As the player collects all the intel, they are ordered to continue to the nest to designate the target position. After a little while of holding the position, the player is given laser designation and must designate the target building by holding the laser on the house for a couple seconds, then press ‘fire’. The mission then ends.
Hostage Taker
«Use stealth to save the president’s daughter before Makarov’s men find her.«
(NOTE: The description is written from the single player perspective. There are more enemies in each section with two players.)
The first section includes five enemies. Two are going away from the player, and one is standing next to the car. After taking them out, the player must proceed towards the flare but avoid the helicopter’s spotlight. There are two enemies, one executing a civilian and the other looking around.
The second section is the large area in front of the hangar. There are multiple enemies scattered around in pairs of two or three. The civilian is located roughly in the middle.
The third section includes eight enemies. The first patrol consists of three enemies, two walking away from the player and one standing by on the left. After taking them out, the player counters three more enemies, two standing next to each other by the pit and one in the pit. Then there is one executing a civilian and one walking around.
As the player goes around the part of the plane, one enemy is holding Alena as a shield and one is standing next to the two. The game goes into slow-motion and the player should shoot the enemy behind Alena, then killing the enemy next to them. If the player is successful in killing the enemies, the mission ends.
Tier 3
Charges Set
«Another round on the obstacle course with new weapons and explosive breaching.«
When the player is ready, the breaching charge is planted and the player breaches in slow-motion. There are four enemies and two civilians. When the enemies are shot, the area is clear and the door to the next one opens.
This area includes one hostile dog and six enemies. As the player takes the first three enemies out (including the dog), the others appear behind the sandbags and the windows.
The player must breach again. Again the area includes four enemies and two civilians. After the enemies are shot, the player must proceed downstairs and melee the target that appears in front of the player. Three enemies and two civilians appear. After the enemies are taken out, another four appear, two on the bridge and two on the ground. Two more enemies appear, and after taking them out, the player should sprint to the finish. The mission then ends. If the player shoots any ally, the mission fails.
Resistance Movement
«Get as many rebels to the LZ as you can. Do it quietly.«
(NOTE: The description is written from the singleplayer perspective. There are more enemies in each section with two players.)
As the mission starts, there is one enemy to the right and one to the left. There are also two enemies to the front, confronting a rebel. After they are killed, the player can proceed to rescue the rebel. Right of the rebel in the building there are two more enemies and another rebel. The player should kill the enemies and rescue the rebel behind the desk.
As the player proceeds, behind the corner a dog is attacking a rebel, and there are two enemies slowly following them. If the dog is not killed quickly enough, the rebel dies, however, it is not necessary to save every rebel, and the two enemies get alerted easily if the player decides to kill the dog first.
When the player goes on, there are two enemies in front. The other is in the distance and the other comes behind the destroyed truck. There are then two enemies and a sleeping dog behind the left corner.
In the big area, there are first two enemies running to the right. Near these enemies are two sitting down, so the player should not rush in killing them. After they are down, there is an enemy bringing a rebel towards two more enemies. If the player does not take them out fast enough, the rebel is executed.
After the player proceeds, there are two enemies coming towards the player. There is then another one by the corner of the shop. Then, there is two enemies and a dog on the far left. These are the last enemies in the mission. There is also a rebel in the shop. After rescuing him, the player must sprint to the truck and the mission ends.
Little Bros
«Destroy sensitive data before the Russians get their hands on it.«
Essentially just working his way back up Scorched Earth, the player starts on the main street in Berlin, and is provided a SCAR-L with an ACOG Scope, and an MP5 with no attachments. The player must proceed further down the street to rendezvous with a friendly chopper that will pick him up, and ferry him to the top of the starting building.
Once dropped off, the player must fight their way down 3 floors, and arm the explosives in the office. From then on, a timer starts counting down, showing how much time the player has left to escape the blast radius. Once he reaches the chopper that is waiting for him at the vents, the player is carried away while they are provided a beautiful view of the building detonating.
Invisible Threat
«Use the UAV and a Juggernaut suits to find and defuse IEDs.«
This mission again puts the player on the main street in Berlin. Armed with a Juggernaut suit, an L86 LSW and Predator Missiles, the player must travel throughout the street and defuse 8 IEDs hidden in burlap sacks. While doing this, they are constantly faced with an infinite wave of enemies, tanks and dogs, which they must fend off. Once all 8 IEDs are defused, the mission is complete.
Tier 4
Server Crash
«Battle your way to Volk’s hideout and download his master plan.«
The player starts off this mission in a vehicle being driven by a GIGN member. For the first part of this mission, the player has to defend himself as they drive towards Volk’s hideout, using an M320 GLM and a SCAR-L with M320 attachment to destroy pursuing vehicles. After arriving at Volk’s hideout, the player must fight his way down to the sewers, where’s Volk’s equipment is located. The DSM must be planted to start downloading Volk’s «master plan», but Claymores can be found in the vicinity and set up at strategic points. There is also a weapons cache, which would prove invaluable to the player, considering at this point they have low ammo on their Scar-L or grenade launcher.
Once the download is initiated, the player must fend off against many of Volk’s henchmen, including those who wield Riot Shields. After which, the player must get back to ground level. At this point, a Juggernaut will spawn in the first basement level, so the player has to fight his way through him. When the player finally manages to get topside and meet back with the GIGN member, he drives off with the player and the mission is complete. If the player runs away into a restricted zone, the mission fails.
Smack Town
«Relieve the local militia of their contraband.«
When the player starts this mission, he will be armed with a PKP Pecheneg and M4A1 Grenadier with both a Red Dot Sight and Extended Mags, and will be in the helicopter for a significant amount of time. During this part, while helicopter is doing a pass-by, it reports that the initial team sent to clear the contraband has been killed, and it is up to the player to finish what they started. After fending off enemies from the various buildings, the helicopter drops off the player at the far end of the map, at the docking bay.
From here, the mission becomes more easier and clear-cut: the player has to go to each of the two drug stashes, manual plant C4 on them and detonate them (at a safe distance, of course). Once both stashes are destroyed, the player has to rendezvous with the helicopter back at the docking bay, while fighting off enemies also digging in to make sure to player doesn’t leave alive. When the player reaches the helicopter, the mission ends. If the player runs away into a restricted zone, the mission fails.
Flood the Market
«Find the encryption codes in the Stock Exchange and upload them to CENTOCOMM.«
The player starts in the bank with an M4A1 w/ Hybrid Sight and an XM25, proceeding their way to the Stock Exchange.
When the player goes outside, the timer starts and multiple enemies show up. There are also two armored cars that can be destroyed with the XM25 (alternatively, the gunner can be shot with any weapon), and a helicopter that drops more enemy troops. As the player kills everyone, they can go to the Stock Exchange.
Downstairs of the SE, the player can refill their ammo by an ammo crate. After the player goes upstairs, three intel laptops must be picked up in order to be able to continue. The laptops are marked with white objective markers and they do not have fixed positions. This area is full of enemies, so going on slowly and using the XM25 to take out multiple enemies is highly advised. If the player runs out of ammo, they can always go back down to refill it. At some point about five enemies come up the stairs, so as soon as the player hears them it is advised to duck for cover from the enemies in the exchange and instead focus on the few enemies. These enemies may also appear when the player is heading for the next section.
After the download is finished, the player just has to survive for a little while. After that, the mission ends.
Fire Mission
«Disable enemy anti-air defense and infiltrate their base with AC-130 support.«
This mission can only played cooperatively. One player is on the ground doing the «dirty work» and the other is the AC-130 gunner (the game asks which player controls the AC-130 before the mission starts). The ground player’s objective is to neutralize enemy anti-air systems and break into the big hangar in certain time. The timer is given more time when each objective is cleared, and the time is affected by the difficulty. The AC130 gunner’s objective is to clear the path for the player and cover him as there are lots of enemies and vehicles. The player on the ground is given a G36C w/ Red Dot Sight and an M4A1 w/ ACOG Scope.
When the mission starts, the player on the ground should proceed towards the first objective, marked with the white objective marker. When the player is there, they should breach the door and take out the enemies inside. Once the room is clear, the player should use the laptop as quickly as possible.
When this is done, multiple enemies and a helicopter spawn in the hangar and around the map. The gunner should kill them as soon as possible to prevent them killing the other player. The player is given one minute of time (in total, the time left from the previous step does not affect) to complete the mission. The next objective is located in the little shack, near the previous building. Once again, the player must use the laptop to proceed.
Once the laptop is used, more enemies spawn and the player should head to the hangar with the time left. Once the player is there, the mission ends.
Content Pack 3
Black Ice
«Ride on a snowmobile down a mountain and blow up a weapons factory.«
As the mission starts, the player is on a snowmobile heading towards the mine. The snowmobile accelerates on ‘fire’ button and the player can shoot a G18 with ‘aim’ button (however, the G18 cannot be aimed or manually reloaded).
The player must go on, killing enemies on snowmobiles and on foot with the G18 or running over them. Price will guide the player over comms of enemy presence and such.
As the player eventually gets off the snowmobile, he is given an ACR w/ Holographic Sight and a Five Seven. There is an enemy vehicle where two enemies come off, and the player should kill them before they come out. Once the player enters the hangar there are multiple enemies inside. After the player proceeds, there are three enemies behind the windows.
Behind the windows there are many weapons the player can choose from: MK46 w/ Foregrip, G36C w/ Red Dot Sight, RSASS, Striker w/ Red Dot Sight and an AK47. There is an enemy in the doorway, so he should be killed first.
The player then comes to the tunnels which have multiple enemies present, some hiding behind the crates. The player can select which way (left or right) to proceed, as they both result in the same room. The big last area has many enemies, so the player must clear the room first before continuing.
When the player is ready, the security office must be breached. As the breaching charge on the door blows up, the game goes in slow-motion. There are three enemies inside and the slow-mo ends when they are all killed. The player must then initiate the self-destruction sequence.
The player has 1:15 minutes to escape the same path, with enemies running as well, ignoring the player. However, there are a few enemies that try to kill the player. Once the player comes off the mine, the timer stops and there is a Little Bird waiting. The player just has to board the helicopter and wait for the explosion. The few enemies by the entrance can shoot the player, so the player should kill them. Once the mine explodes, the mission ends.
Negotiator
«Escape your captors and save as many hostages as possible.«
The mission starts with the player held as a hostage. The player must steal the enemy’s Desert Eagle (who has his eyes on the other two hostages) and quickly shoot the two before they react. The player can then pick up their AK-47s.
As the player jumps down, a door must be breached. Similar to other breaches, the game goes into slow-motion. The enemies must be killed while avoiding shooting hostages. Once they are neutralized, the player is offered more weapons on the ground. As the player proceeds, they come across more enemies and hostages. The enemies appear in the same places across the mission.
The player must breach again once they reach upstairs, and there are three enemies and a couple hostages inside. Once they are killed, opposite of that room two enemies breach in from a door. There are multiple enemies when the player makes their way to the safe-room (where Soap was brought in campaign). The player can use the mounted MG to clear the enemies outside the player.
The player must breach again to get to the yard, and there are four enemies and about seven hostages. Once they are killed, the player must disarm the bomb in the middle as quickly as possible, as it is timed. As it is disarmed, the player can head inside. However, multiple enemies come from there, so on higher difficulties it is advised to hang back and kill them first.
Upstairs, the player must do a final breach. Inside are three enemies and a few hostages. Once the enemies are killed, the mission ends.
The amount of hostages rescued only affects the score.
Content Pack 5
Iron Clad
The player must guide a tank through the roads to an pickup location, clearing barricades along the way.
Kill Switch
This mission has two characters, Scarecrow and Ozone. When played solo the player will start on the ground as Scarecrow and will need to make his way through the abandoned neighborhood by the dockyard toward a warehouse. Before arriving however the player’s viewpoint will shift up to Ozone’s sniping position beneath the bridge where he will support the now AI controlled Scarecrow by sniping and using a reaper. Scarecrow will go into the warehouse and activate an EMP. Right as he does the reaper will be shot down, and directly afterward one of the enemy helicopters in the area will shoot at the walkway that the player controlled Ozone is on sending him tumbling to the ground. The EMP will disable all of the helicopters and vehicles in the area as well as take down the player’s HUD. Then the player will have to make his way down to the dock where there are a few more enemy soldiers. Once they have all been dispatched the player can move down to the zodiac and finish the mission.
In co-op mode the players will choose beforehand who will be on the ground as Scarecrow and who will be up on the walkway as Ozone for the duration of the mission as there is no character switching in co-op.
